Error in accessing the create method declared in Home interface

hi,
I have create method in home interface which takes the following syntax:
public ShipRemote create(ShipPK id,String name,int capacity,float tonnage) throws CreateException,RemoteException;
In the client I create a remote object and try to call this create method, but I get a compilation error :
it says unable to resolve the symbol with a cursor pointing the create method
interface sampleEJB.ship.shipInfo.ShipHome ShipRemote remoteRef=(ShipRemote)homeRef.create(spk,sname,5000,100.7);
how can i resolve this.
I have implemented this create method in my bean

hi i have compiled the client interfaces and the bean successfully.
I have also imported the classes in the in the client code .
I even deployed my jar successfully, but i have problem in accessing the create method specified .
thank you

  • Error while accessing a public method of applet from javascript.

    Hi,
    I am getting "Object doesn't support this property or method" error
    when accessing a public method of applet from javascript in IE 6 using
    document.applets[0].myMethod();
    The same is working in IE 7.
    Thanks in advance.

    I don't know why it happens, but this works for me in both versions:
    <applet ..... name="MyApplet">
    </applet>and in javascript use
    document.MyApplet.myMethod()

  • How to override the create method invoked by a create form?

    Hello everyone, I'm using ADF Faces and have the next question:
    How can I override the create method which is invoked by a create form to preset an attribute in the new row (the preset value is not fixed, I have to send it to the method as a parameter as it is obtained using an EL expression)?
    In the ADF guide I read how to override a declarative method (Section 17.5.1 How to override a declarative method), but this explains how to do it with a method that is called by a button. I don't know how to do the same with a method which is called automatically when the page is loaded.
    I also tried overriding the view object's createRow() method to receive a parameter with the preset values but it didn't work, I believe that was because the declarative create method is not the same as the view object's createRow. This caused the form to display another row from the viewobject and not the newly created one (I also set the new row into STATUS_INITIALIZED after setting the attribute).
    Well, I hope my problem is clear enough for somebody to help me.
    Thank you!

    Hello,
    I'm not sure you can do it with standard generated Create Form.
    In your view object you'll need to create your own create method with parameters, publish it to client interface and invoke instead of standard generated create action in page definition.

  • Getting Error while accessing the data using odata service

    Hi All,
    Iam new to SAP FIORI.
    Iam getting the below error while accessing the data using odata service.
    "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not found)"
    "No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin "
    i have tried all the solutions like changing the url pattern "proxy/htttp".
    and disabled - security in chrome (Chrome is Updated version).
    i tried with IE still got the same problem.
    And installed all the required software in eclipse
    While installing GWPA plugin i got the following error.

    Sorry mate, but YOU have to know what you want here.
    I gave you an easy to follow set of steps.
    As you don't seam to mind the outcome, just might just use them...
    > I wanted to know weathe i can use the  loadercli for thie export import or not? if yes then is there any new steps to do before i do the export import?
    We had this discussion before...

    > For that the easiest option would be just to drop the tables of SAPR3 and run the import again.

    > For ease of use you could also just do:
    > - logon as superdba
    > - drop user SAPR3
    > - create user SAPR3 password SOMEPW not exclusive dba
    >
    > After these steps you can easily pump the data into the database again.
    >
    > So here in th above given steps , i am creating a new SAPR3 user and why it is not exclusive dba ?
    >  i already have that user SAPR3 can i use the same.
    Yes, you do have the SAPR3 user.
    But you don't seem to like to read documentation or learn about how the tools work or anything like that.
    Therefore I gave you s simple way to reach your goal.
    Of course it's possible to reuse the user.
    But then you would have to deal with already existing tables, already existing data etc.
    You don't seem to be able to do that. So, the easy steps might be better suited for your needs.

    Lars

  • Error when accessing CMP EJB methods

    I get a strange error, when I access a getter method in my remote interface to query the variables in my CMP EJB. I use Jdev 3.2 agains Oracle 8.1.7.
    I can see that the error must be originating from the persistance manager BC4J XML, but not sure how to resolve it, any help is appreciated.
    The line having the problem is the second line;
    portofolio.Portofolio remoteInterface = homeInterface.findByPrimaryKey("Fantacy");
    System.out.println("The record is " + remoteInterface.getPORTO_TYPE());
    The full error stack is as follows ( I don't see why there is a complaint about an update statement ?? );

  • Error: "Cannot access the web server" with BlazeDS Turnkey

    Help! I'm new to Flex and BlazeDS and Eclipse.  I was trying to setup a Flex Project using a BlazeDS/Tomcat server running from Eclipse on Windows XP per the example in flexbandit.com/archives/55#comment-269 and in (www.infoq.com/articles/blazeds-intro).   I am NOT using the Eclipse Flex plug-in.  I'm using Flex Builder for the Flex code.
    Here's what I've done:
    I installed BlazeDS and tested http://localhost:8400 - That worked.
    I setup Tomcat in Eclipse.  -  That seemed to work.
    I created a Dynamic Web Project in Eclipse - That seemed to work.
    I created the bare-bones BlazeDS Configuration under the Eclipse project and then created a basic HelloWorld java class.
    I added the destination in the “remoting-config.xml” file found in the c:/projects/workspace/ReportGenTool/WebContent/WEB-INF/flex” directory:
    <destination id="HelloWorld">   <properties>  <source>HelloWorld</source> </properties> </destination>
    When I started the application server by clicking on the server's green play button in Eclipse and then tried to open localhost:8400/ReportGenTool, I got the 404 error : The requested source (/ReportGenTool/) is not available which according to the instructions is fine.
    Next I created a Flex Project, but when I try to validate the new Flex project configuration, it gives me an error "Cannot access the web server. The server may not be running, or the web root folder or root URL may be invalid."
    When I validated the server was running after setting up the BlazeDs Turnkey, I saw the BlazeDS page.
    Now when I bring up http://localhost:8400 I get:
          Directory Listing for /
          Apache Tomcat/6.0.14
    My eclipse project is named ReportGenTool and I've overwritten the WebContent directory with the META-INF and WEB-INF directories from the BlazeDS installation (C:\blazeds\tomcat\webapps\blazeds).  According to Eclipse the server is running.
    My Flex project is named ReportGenTool and is located in another directory away from the Eclipse project directory.
         My root folder is: C:\Projects\workspace\ReportGenTool\WebContent
         Root URL: is http://localhost:8400/ReportGenTool/
         Context root is: /ReportGenTool/
    Any idea what might be wrong? What didn't I configure that needs to be configured?
    Thanks in advance.

    This is not working because your router has a direct to your web server that is not through the outside interface which is needed for nat to occur, for this to work you need to setup a loopback interface as nat outside and policy route traffic to there for your server traffic
    Bu if your server is internal why do you need nat at all? Can you not use bind with views that might be simpler

  • CL_RSPLS_CR_EXIT_BASE  how to use the create method

    Hi everybody
    I am using a copy of CL_RSPLS_CR_EXIT_BASE in the relationships derivation of our planning project. I do not understand how CL_RSPLS_CR_EXIT_BASE works.
    Here is the problem:
    I use the class to derivate 0COSTCENTER from 0CO_AREA and 0COORDER. In one planning function everything works fine. With the use of the relationships the class is called and in the DERIVATE Method I can select the responsible costcenter from the 0COORDER data with 0COORDER and 0CO_AREA.
    But I also have a planning sequence which is also using the relationships but on step 7 (costcenter from co_area and coorder) it directely calls the DERIVATE method. But in the DERIVATE Method I do not have the source fields COORDER and CO_AREA as source data available....
    How does this work? Where do I get the source data from? In the first case I have it all in the parameter c_s_chas.... but in the CREATE method I can't find the source data.
    Thanks for any input.
    Have a nice day
    regeards
    Christophe

    Hi Gregor
    thanks for your reply. I definitely am or was pretty confused about DERIVE and CREATE. Can you confirm the following so that I know if I got it now:
    In CREATE i select data from the master table (for example COSTCENTER COORDER and CO_AREA if those are the characteristics I use in the exit relation (source = COORDER, target = COSTCENTER and CO_AREA). Those are also the lines I find in the selection criteria table i_tsx_seldr.
    I fill all the selected combinations into the internal table e_th_chas (in the same order of fields like they are in i_tsx_seldr).
    That's it and then the system gets the necessery data from this selection?
    In this way I get a new error message in my planning sequence:
    Nachwert-Einschränkung 1 zu Teilvorgang 1 bewirkt folgenden Fehler
    Es konnte keine Kombination erzeugt werden
    What am still doing wrong?
    Thanks a lot!
    best regards

  • -18001: An error occured accessing the LabVIEW ActiveX automation server

    Hi,
    I'm currently investigating a problem with a Teststand 2.0 sequence. The

    successful loops through the test sequence the error "-18001: An error

    during the execution of the sequence but I don't know where to start

    I'm not sure. Using the same ActiveX within a Visual Basic Application and
    performing the same commands several times does not produce a failure. Has

    Thanks, Sven.

    Thanks, but I already know these entries from the Knowledge Base. I found no

    Please verify that your project settings for all projects show the following:
    J2EE Web Application Name: APPS_HTML J2EE
    Web Context Root: /OA_HTML
    Note that these values are new for an OA project with JRAD 9.0.3.7 (verify that you are using an OA project).
    If that doesn't fix the problem, try deleting your System directory and restarting.

  • Error  while accessing the application server file

    Hello,
    When I try to load the data from CSV file to PSA , I am getting following error message
    "Error  while accessing the application server file"
    "Errors in source system"
    I gave the right file path
    I am not sure about this error message.
    Thanks,

    Hi ram,
    if you have more than one application server running in your BI system (see at transaction SM51) be aware that your infopackage will be executed on the right one. Each application server has its own file system and your job need to run on the server your file is stored on.
    Also check if the os user of the SAP system itself (<sid>adm on Unix) has rights to read that file.
    Bye
    Frank

  • Webpart causing error while accessing the subsite.

    Hi
    I am getting an error message saying that webpart causes error in accessing the site in MOSS 2007.
    PFA of the error:
    Please someone help with the error webpart:
    how to find which custom webpart is affecting the site access error.
    Thanks,
    Badri

    Hi Badri ,
    According to your error message, the web part which cause error is the “RecentlyUpdatedSites” web part. For your issue, you can open the Web Part Maintenance page.
    For opening the Web Part Maintenance page by just adding the following query string to the page URL
    ?contents=1 So, if your page URL is 'http://servername/sitename/home.aspx' then after appending the query string it should look like ' http://servername/sitename/home.aspx?contents=1'
    Using this approach, we can open the web part maintenance page , close or delete these wrong web part.

  • Edit entity object and use the Create() method for generating ID's

    Hello,
    I have and InserPage.jsp and defined the datasoucre correctly.
    <jbo:InputText datasource="ds" dataitem="Clientid" /> gives me
    the unique ClientID from the FIRST client-record in my table ,
    although this page is for inserting a NEW Client, with a new
    ClientID.
    So, on the Clients Entity i made a create() method and put the
    following code in it:
    public Number getClientid() {
    return (Number)getAttributeInternal(CLIENTID);
    public void create(AttributeList attributeList) {
    SequenceImpl seq = new SequenceImpl
    ("Clientid",getDBTransaction());
    Integer i=(Integer)seq.getData();
    setClientid(new Number(i.intValue()));
    super.create(attributeList);
    the getData() Returns a sequence value, but what sequence value?
    Do i have to create a sequence on the ClientID column in my
    Oracle Table in the DB too?
    The problem is, the first ClientID # is 819 and the current last
    one seems to be 2899, so how do i achieve that when opening the
    insert.jsp the new ClientID shows up (ie. 2900)?
    How can i achieve this?
    thx

    OK, managed to track down the HowTo on triggers? I created the
    trigger.
    create sequence client_seq
    start with 8900
    increment by 1
    nomaxvalue
    nocycle;
    I changed the create() method for the entity object to:
    public void create(AttributeList attributeList) {
    SequenceImpl seq = new SequenceImpl
    ("Clientid",getDBTransaction());
    SequenceImpl s = new SequenceImpl("client_seq",
    getDBTransaction());
    Integer next = (Integer)s.getData();
    setClientid(new Number(next.intValue()));
    and running the tester for the module works fine. ;-)
    But...
    The Insert.jsp page has to insert/show this sequenced value!
    After i defined the datasource and let us say:
    <jbo:InputText datasource="ds" dataitem="Clientid" />
    ...the number 819 shows up, which is the FIRST record, so i do
    not get the new ClientID with the correct number.
    Any help is always nice. ;-)

  • How can I call the create method in BO from Application Service

    Hello!
    When I create a Business Object, CAF generates some methods automatically.
    How can I call the create method in the BO from Application Service logic?
    When i call the method then the entityManager and the sessionContext is NULL.
    How can I initialize this?
    Can anybody help me?
    Thanks, Thomas

    If you are using CE 7.11...
    1) In the Application Services, add the BO as dependant object in dependencies tab.
    2) In the implemention, add the following codes to call create method of the BO:
    this.get<BO>.createMethod();
