Hi Guys
         I am configuring simple File -to-File adaptor with FCC. In communication channel for sender it showing error "Conversion initialization failed: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: Error(s) in XML conversion parameters found: Format error in 'xml.recordset' argument: incomplete structure (name,number) pair" .

We are in NW04s (SP13) of PI.
3 problems:
1. SXI_CACHE
Partial Cache Refresh gives OK (Green)
Full Cache Refresh gives error:
"Error During last attempt to refresh cache"
Double click on the red message indicates:
Error Id: UPDATE
HTTP status code401 Unauthorized
2. In Runtime Workbench : Adaptor Monitoring:
Only JPR shows with red.
All other adapters are missing.
3. <host>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
Gives error:
Global Error
Couldn't parse Configuration Data cache update XML string from Directory
Help is urgently needed.

This problems are resolved now.
1. Adapter Monitoring not showing other types:
Reset the user/password: PIRWBUSER
In R/3:
User type: service
Bring the password to Exchange Profile:
com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.name: PIRWBUSER
com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd
Do a cache refresh:
<host>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
2. Check <host>:<port>/CPACache/history.jsp
Status should be green on the latest Status.
(No Error: " Global Error Couldn't parse Configuration Data cache update XML string from Directory" )

Multiline file content conversion-- error

Hi All
I am sending a txt file to CSV format (txt file), I have done IR and ID without errors. Adaptor Monitor shows that
Initialization error: Conversion initialization failed with java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: Error(s) in XML conversion parameters found:
Parameter '.fieldFixedLengths' or '.fieldSeparator' is missing
I have given '.fieldFixedLengths' or '.fieldSeparator' in the Content conversion parameters in the receiver dommunication channel.
Could you please let me know what could be wrong?

Using Polaroid HD-LCD tv as Mini display...NOT! :(

Very similar symptoms as described in the post re: ENVISON wide scieen.
Well, maybe not exactly...tv is 19" Poloroid TLA-01911C w/ oodles of inpiut options like most other brands.
I opened the box attached a VGA cable to the tv, powered up tv and mini.. as mini was starting
I grabbed tv remote, loaded batteries and selected INPUT SELECT and switched to "PC"
as the input source. The screen showed the status: 1440 x 900 , PC but screen remained drk blue.
So I swtiched the tv off and on again and viola! -- my mini 's desltop. appeared.....oppps waiti...where didi it go?
Blue screen again .....status :NOT SUPPORT.
So I rebooted the tv then the mini.. and I watched the mini grey screen w/ apple logo then saw it switch over
to the display with my deskiop..... cool. I'll note here that the mage was as perfect and in proper size
proportion as my regular 20"LG LCD monitor.
Twenty maybe thirty minutes later I noticed the blue screen had reappeared with NOT SUPPORT status.
Perhaps the miinii went to sleep ? So i clilced and fiddled with the keyboard.. blue screen remained.
Rebooted minii and the tv switched ovee to show system starting up by immediately swirched back to blue NOT SUPORT when mini desktop is displsyed and this is what it does everytime.
I quiclly had the same idea as mentioned in the other post re:ENVISON..But the 1440x 900 size
absolutely the one that matches the tv and no oher size selcted will even display the start up screen.
Cable problems,you suspect? Perhaps....lets find out.
Okay lets try using two new VGA cables ... first cable :NOT SUPPORT...second cable : NOT SUPPORT
Perhaps an aversion to VGA cables ... so now lets use DVI cable into VGA male adsptor.. .NOT SUPPORT
Picky huh..okay Lets go DVI female adoptor to component video RGB cables... NOT SUPPORT
Okay okay lets get serious about this now and go DVI female adaptor to HD cable...NOT SUPPORT
Yes,btw.I changed inpuit selctions for those last two as the VGA/PC was not used.
So that was $200 in trial/error cables/adaptors that Ill need to return to the store.
At this point, unless there is a known documented cause /effect understanding of any mini-related
issues or limitations which attribute to this problem, fixable or not, I must assume its a Polaroidal-related
malfunction.
Suggestions, insights?

in case you haven't fixed this problem...it happened to me today and i found another post that totally fixed it!!!
Boot in safe mode!!!!!!
here is what helped:
"boot into safe ode (hold the shift key down when starting up) and once the system is running [note: holding the shift key down for a couple of minutes...seems like its not going to boot up - but it will - just be patient] - once booted up go into system preferences...go to display pick resolution 1024x768 {note: this is what my polaroid tv's computer display max resolution per owners manual for tv] - ensure the correct refresh rate is selected...[mine was 75 hz] and the reboot computer - should work fine!!!

There is an 8.1.7.4 patchset for Windows.
If you take a look at the Instant Client forum, there are some discussions on this where one of the Oracle product managers (Mr. Jue) has chimed in. At present, only connections to 8.1.7.4 and higher are supported. It is expected that the first 10g patchset will fix this bug and allow connections to 8.1.7.0 and above databases.

During Installation there is no option to provide database name
when i run form in form builder then it gives me error TNS ADAPTOR [becoz of i dont specified database name] and username is scott and password is tiger
what is the database name ? orcl doesnot work in scott/tiger .

Try doing tnsping from the forms_home/bin and check if the db is reachable ?

TNS problems in 9i on Windows 2003 Server

Goody day
I have installed Oracle9i Database (and 9i Developer Suite) onto an HP ML370 Server running Windows 2003 Server. My problem is that wherever I need to use the username / password for things like sqlplus, forms, imp, etc I get SERVICE_NAME errors, TNS adaptor protocol errors, Can't resolve SERVICE_NAME and many more in that description field.

You need to look in the listener.ora for the db you want to connect to (did you create one after installing Database product?). Then you need to verify that entries in tnsnames.ora of both DB and DS homes "matches" with listener.ora.
Other than that, it is more likely to have a chance to help out if you provide some details of actions taken and corresponding errors (exact codes and messages).

Client 11g don't connect

Hi,
I installed Oracle 11g client on Win7 64 bit machine. Install is OK, but there is no entry in registry.
With application software I got error message "ORA-12560: error protocol adaptor".
I manually entered the key like indicated in the file "oracle.key", but this don't change anything. I can't connect.
pingtns works but very slow (20 sec).
Connecting by sqlplus gives the same error, only if I give the string directly after the username like "user@connectstring". Also after some 20 seconds I have connection.
What is wrong?
Client is installed like the 10g client, and this works fine but don't support Win7.

I come back on this item.
tnsping from prompt works normal. (1 exception: by using server name in stead of IP-address in tnenames.ora: the first try give een OK after about 20 sec, afterwards, 0 sec. By using IP-address, also teh first time: 0 sec)
SQLplus and our application software is not running on the server containing the Oracle database.
In SQLnet log: error 12560 but also main error 00530 and secondary error 00126. Does this help you?
tnanames.ora looks like your sample on except of the following line:
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = servername)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SID = orcl)
This works on all our XP machines running Oracle client 10g.
In your sample you have supplementary the line: '(UR=A)". What does that do? I've never seen this.
I also tested in the Oracle Net Manager: There you have a button for testing the connection. After filling in the right username and password, the program immedeatly gives the response: "The connection test was succesfully".
Any idea wht the problem is?

Unable to connect to databases via SQLPlus or SQLDeveloper

Current Setup: Linux Enterprise 5.8 64 bit/ Oracle 11g/ SQL Developer 3.1
I recently created a new Linux VM from scratch and installed Oracle 11g on it. Was able to successfully create databases via DBCA, how ever am not able to connect to these databases.
You'll find this very interesting. I recently discovered different scenarios, where it works and does not works.
Below scenarios are executed in sequence. After Scenario C, I can successfully create connections via SQLPlus and SQLDeveloper
Scenario A :

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

I am new to Visual Basic programing and i am trying to understand the relationships between Datasets, database, table Adaptors. I have to following code that is is giving me the following error" Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand
when passed DataRow collection with deleted rows".
I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
It seems that i can delete the data on the DataGridView Table and it only displays the correct data. but my database is not updating, even though the data grid displays differently.I can determine this because, when i save the offset database, i have all
the previous uploads and all the rows that i wanted to delete are still there.
My final goal is to be able to import offset data from a CSV file, save this data on the pc, send a copy of this data to a NuermicUpDown so the customer can modify certain numbers. From here they download all the date to a controller. IF the customer
needs to modify the imported data, they can go to a tab with a data grid view and modify the table. They will also have to option to save the modified data into a csv file.
Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.

This error usually shows that you do not initialize the
DeleteCommand object, you could check this
article to see if you get a workaround.

If you are working CSV file, you could use OleDB to read it which would treat the CSV file as a Table:

Error 53 - File not found when registering HFM adaptor for 11.1.2.1, 64 bit

We are having trouble registering the HFM adaptor (FM11X-G5-E-1005) in version 11.1.2.1 of FDM which sits on 64 bit windows 2008 R2.
I have followed the procedure of the KM article KM 1211618.1 which essentially has you deleting the 32 bit COM+ application that 11.1.2.1 improperly installs and registering the 64 bit component. Unfortunately, the 1st part of that process is not working. After going into dcomcnfg and deleting the COM+ app the next 2 steps are:
1) RegAsm.exe /codebase "<Path to your adapters folder>\FM11x-G5-C\fdmAdapterCOMadmin\fdmAdapterCOMadmin.dll"
2) RegSvcs.exe "<Path to your adapters folder>\FM11x-G5-C\fdmFM11xG5C\fdmFM11xG5C.dll"
Step #1 is failing and yields the following error message: RegAsm : error RA0000 : Unable to locate input assembly 'E:\Oracle\Middleware\EP
MSystem11R1\products\FinancialDataQuality\SharedComponents\AdapterComponents\fdm
AdapterCOMadmin\fdmAdaptorCOMadmin.dll' or one of its dependencies.
Any suggestions to assist with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Before you do step 1 are you doing:
cd C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727
If you are not in that directory and/or do not call it explicitly you are probably not getting the exact regasm/regsvcs you require.
I do this quite a bit on Server 2008 R2 and haven't ran into this issue.

I've got the following entry in the application.properties file too...

From what we can see we believe the code is getting a null pointer because of the following method in the WebDeterminationsServletContext class.

We believe the getRealPath(path), highlighted in red, is returning null. Any ideas how we can resolve this?
2) The second issue I'm facing is with regards the plugins.libraries property in the application.properties file. I've got the entry as
plugin.libraries =DataAdaptor.DA;
which should point to our customised data adaptor. However I'm getting the following error.

3) Also, does anyone know if it's possible to deploy a web-determinations.war file containing additional internal application code? What we're attempting to do is deliver a single war file which not only holds the web determination code but also all the code for an application which wraps the OWD within it. At present this just isn't working. I'm not sure what the conflict is exactly. The only way i seem to be able to get this working is by deploying the code in two seperate war files.
Any help on these issues would be greaty appreciated.

(2) is being caused because your data adaptor plugin is not installed properly. The jar that contains your plugin needs to go in the WEB-INF/lib directory and you must specify the fully qualified class name in the plugin.libraries property of the application.properties file.
If you haven't provided a custom data adaptor, Web Determinations will configure and attach the default one for use instead, which is file based. If you are deploying to WebLogic as an unxeploded war, you must configure the directory the default data directory the plugin will uses by specifying an absolute path that your instance of Web Determinations has read/write permissions to in the xds.file.path property of the application.properties file. In your case (1) is basically being caused by (2) since if the your data adaptor was loaded correctly the default one wouldn't load at all.
As for (3) yes it's likely possible, provided you don't have library conflicts. How it's done really depends on what these additional customisations consist of.
