Error in dbms_wm.BeginDDL command

Hi there!
We are storing spatial data in an Oracle Database 10gR2 (10.2.0.4) running in Win 2003, and using OWM for history purposes.
There are lots of version-enabled tables that when we try to run dbms_wm.BeginDDL it raises the following error:

Error report:
ORA-02224: EXECUTE privilege not allowed for tables

*Cause:    An attempt was made to grant or revoke an invalid privilege on
a table.
*Action:   Do not attempt to grant or revoke EXECUTE privilege on tables.
We even tried to trace the session in database and find what is the internal grant command causing the error, but we didn't find any "GRANT EXECUTE" in any object at all, so this is very weird.
The table in this example is very simple, with no external keys, just a primary key (field "ID"), some attributes and a SDO_GEOMETRY field. Below is the create statement (obviously after version-enabling the structure was modified by OWM).

Disabling versioning and re-enabling it solves the problem, but we can't do that when the database goes in production, considering that it would delete the historical data.
We'd appreciate any help on how to get more details about this error and how to solve it.

I've seen these grants in the user's session trace file, but, as you can see, there's no EXECUTE privilege in any record of the results above.
I really have no idea why OWM is trying to grant this EXECUTE privilege, and for what object and user.
