Error in Executing a Package

Hello Folks,
I am new to BPC. I have created Dimensions and Applications with no errors in procession.
I have also uploaded a sample data file for CostCenter Application. But while running the Data Management Package, I am facing the following error : An Error Occurred While execution of a Package.
Can Any one please let me know what is happening in there ?....I am clueless ....
Help will be Acknowledged.....

Actually I checked for the Dimension Members, and also verified the same.
Only thing is I did not include all the Dimension Members in the Input File....Did i need to include all the members with the relevant data ?
Please consider the following scenario :
Dimensions:
Dim1 with 5 Members
Dim2 with 5 Members
Dim3 with 5 Members
Applications
App1
---Dim1
---Dim2
---Dim3
Then, while uploading the file what should be the contents of the file ?
One more thing, if everything is correct as far as file is concerned.......is it something relating to Configuration Or Authorization ?

SSIS package working fine directly.
I got following error while execute SSIS package from C# console application.
The connection "{79D920D4-9229-46CA-9018-235B711F04D9}" is not found. This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific connection element is not found.

Are you sure that you are running the same package via .NET which works fine from Visual Studio?
By reading error message, I can say that you have copied OLEDB task from another package OR you have deleted one OLEDB connection manager. Now when package is run this task tries to use the connection manager and not found thus throws error message.
Open all OLEDB destination tasks and you find connection manager missing. Connection Manager name should be provided there

It looks like you have exceeded the number of connections available for the datasource. Try checking your connection pool settings.

Error while executing a package in ODI

Hi,
I am new to Oracle technology and when i am trying to execute one package through Oracle Data Integrator i am getting the below error. Even when i am trying to execute the procedure 'GENERATE_NAT_KEY' i am getting the error

you need to customer support identifier which is called CSI for can login metalink(https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html)
If you dont have metalink account there is no way to see that doc.

Error while executing SSIS package which contains Script component through SQL Server Agent Job

I have written one SSIS 2012 package which is fetching records from CSV and put it into staging DB and from staging DB , using SSIS script component task, I am inserting data into Dynamics CRM. So far it is working fine when

Error when executing a package

I am executing a package that contains several interfaces, and I am running it in two environments: Development and production.
On the production environment, i do execute the pkg and it executes quite well, without warning, errors or what so ever.
in the Developmente one, no i get two errors. Both on the same step, and I have review the SQL on both tables and it is quite "fine" or at least it is the same in both environments.

Check your E$ table. Looks like you may have changed your table structure and the old E$ table is missing the columns from the new structure.
You can drop the E$ table from the Development environment and it should run fine.

Error during execute UTL_MAIL package

I am using Oracle 10g in windows environment.

Are you sure your configuration is set up correctly.
Note: the UTL_MAIL package is not installed by default. It can be created by running two scripts, <ORACLE_HOME>/rdbms/admin/utlmail.sql and <ORACLE_HOME>/rdbms/admin/prvtmail.sql, from a SQL*Plus session.
In addition, a new initialization parameter, SMTP_OUT_SERVER, specifies the name of the mail server domain. Oracle does this because it gives the DBA a chance to secure the port that SMTP_OUT_SERVER defines from being overloaded from incoming data transmissions. If SMTP_OUT_SERVER is not defined, however, Oracle automatically accepts the domain from the DB_DOMAIN initialization parameter instead.

Error when execute a package from SQL Server Agent

We have the next problem:
When we execute a package from a Job of SQL Server agent, it shows the success messege, but reviewing the results, the package didnt do all the tasks.
When we run it mannually by MSIS the package, it shows the success message and it works fine.
The workflow of the package is :
1) Shrink the databases (executing a sql file)
2) Backup the databases (Back up Database task of MSIS)
3) Rename the files to .BAK extension (by the Foreach loop container and fyle system task)
4) Execute command to compress the it (by a .bat)
5) Move the compress file to another location (by another Foreach loop)
Manually run correct, but when is a a SQL AGent Job that execute the package it does only the first 2 steps.

Can you check if account running package has proper access. You may need to define a proxy account for that.

Do you have any Date conversion functions in your Oracle datetime fields? I did run into a similar issue when we upgraded the oracle client and the provider started to decipher the metadata of the date columns. The SSIS metadata conversion for the date
columns yielded dates that were not valid. I had to update my queries to use the TO_CHAR conversion to bring it out as a string and then save it to the date field.

SQL SERVER - Error while executing SSIS package on specific environment : Connection manager - The specified module could not be found

I have deployed my SSIS packages on SQL 2008 server.
I have a .bat file which will invoke these packages and also the bat file is placed in the server where the SSIS packages are deployed.
Scenario 1:
I double clicked on the bat file to invoke the SSIS packages and ; this executed successfully
Scenario 2:
I have used the IBM Tivoli work scheduler(TWS) to invoke the bat file which in tern will invoke the ssis packges;
but when i do this i am getting the below error
Code: 0x8007007E
Source: SSIS_Master_Event_Data_Transfer Connection manager "Config DB"
Description: The specified module could not be found.
Config BD is a connection manager which will get the connection string from the config file of the SSIS package.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Check you TWS jobmanrc.cmd configuration file. You may need to add a PATH environment variable in that file that includes your SQL Server file locations. When TWS jobs are executed, they may not be executing with the same
PATH variable as when you execute the SSIS outside of TWS.

Run a level 12 trace. Then execute the call to the API from SQL*Plus. This issue will be much easier to debug in SQL*Plus than from your BPEL process.

Error After Execute Info Package

Experts,
I got the below errors after i executed the info package.
I tried RSA3 on the Data Source in ECC, it got extracted successfully.
Do you have any idea why this happens?

Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.

your message has got answers for your question.
1.what source sytem you are getting data from?
if it is flat file --->please make sure you have specified file in specified format at specified location and make sure the file is not open at the time of loading.
2.If it is another source system make sure...the interface is proper to extract data from.
if everything looks fine..just logoff from the system once and login again and try to repeat the load which will be successful in majority of the cases.

Hi,
We are getting the following error when running our SSIS packages on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1:
Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11. A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)
SQL Server Data Tools and SQL Server Database Engine reside on the same server.
We tried the following:
Disabling TCP Chimney Offload
Installed Windows Server 2008 SP1
Splitting our SSIS code into multiple steps so it is not all one large continuous operation
The error occurs during a BulkDataLoad task.
Other options we are investigating with the engineering team (out-sourced, so delayed responses):
Firewall configurations (everything is local, so this should not make a difference)
Disabling the anti-virus scanner
Are there other things we can try?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Hi HenryKwan,
Based on the current information, the issue can be caused by many reasons. Please refer to the following tips:
Install the latest hotfix based on your SQL Server version. Ps: there is no SQL Server 2012 R2 version.
Change the MaxConcurrentExecutables property from -1 to another one based on the MAXDOP. For example, 8.
Set "RetainSameConnection" Property to FALSE on the all the connection managers.

Error in Executing UTL_FILE package

I have following procedure

This is what the documentation says:
UTL_FILE is available for both client-side and server-side PL/SQL. The client implementation (text I/O) is subject to normal operating system file permission checking. However, the server implementation may be running in a privileged mode, which requires a restriction on the directories that you can access.
In the past, accessible directories for the UTL_FILE functions were specified in the initialization file using the UTL_FILE_DIR parameter. However, UTL_FILE_DIR access is not recommended. It is recommended that you use the CREATE DIRECTORY feature, which replaces UTL_FILE_DIR. Directory objects offer more flexibility and granular control to the UTL_FILE application administrator, can be maintained dynamically (that is, without shutting down the database), and are consistent with other Oracle tools. CREATE DIRECTORY privilege is granted only to SYS and SYSTEM by default.
