Error in executing script...
I have a script saved in ins.sql file.
i.e.
delete * from tab1;
commit;
when I am trying to call that file as below:
I am getting an error as "Invalid SQL statement"
declare
v_query varchar2(2000);
begin
v_query :='start C:\ins.sql';
execute immediate v_query;
end;
Can any one rectify me where I am wrong?

One thing you can do then, is to transfer the scripts to your db server and issue an
OS command from within a java stored procedure as described e.g. Re: how will i call sqlplus from pl/sql procedure

I am getting error in the Oracle preload actions while installing the SAP 4.7 using the ORacle 9.2.0.1..
FJS-00012 Error when executing script in start SAP system(post processing)
My comp configuration is as follows:
160 gb hard disk
RAM 1GB
OS: win 2003 server enterprise edition
oracle 8.1.7
During the Database Load (post processing) section of the
installation, i get an error and the installation fails.

Has anyone come across the feature "Whenever SQL Error Stop Executing Script User Preference" in the new 2.1 release. Doesn't seem to be among the items on the new feature list. This has always been a stumbling block for us in terms of adoption.
The OTN feature request says scheduled for 2.1.

Actually my server IP is *10.50.6.38*, then why agent is trying to connect *10.50.48.29* with port 8088. If I restart my machine it works for 4 - 5 scripts again shows the same error in agentmanager.
Please help me to resolve this issue........

Error in executing script through transaction SM49

we have written a script with multiple parameters.when ever we will try to execute the Script with the parameters it is working fine.
but whenever we will executing it through the transaction SM49 we are getting the below error.

The exactly erro refers to a problems when you try upgrade from these version to 11.5.10.
Can you read this note and apply solution? The note refers a patch, but the problem is the same.

Unfortunately the instance in question has since been decommissioned and simply does not exist any more.
We're currently on a repeat count of over 350,000 and I would REALLY like to get it stopped. I've had a look at adding an override but that points to the management server rather than the instance itself.

When you create a group, you save it to an unsealed management pack. However, an element in an unsealed management pack, such as an override, cannot reference an element in a different unsealed management pack, such as a group. If you are going to use a group
to limit the application of an override, you must either save the group to the same unsealed management pack as the override, or you must seal the management pack that contains the group.

I have done a number of changes in system i checked the SIDadm user is assigned a default DB T47 and has said role assigned allready.
I restarted the system after changes and started the prepare batch file again but with sme probelm again. so can anybody guide me on this. I seen a number of threads but there is no any concrete solution providedby them.

i read those note but everything seems normal to me on my PC; it has remote access enabled, t47vmhost2/t47adm is the user configured (although its not a domain configuration (installation) but t47vmhost2 is the computer name. So its kind of local user defined in SQL with said authorization. below is the log from file MSSCONCHECK.LOG
