Error in import R3load in a migration R3 40B Oracle 8.1.7 Windows NT

Hello,
I'm executing  the import phase for a migration from SAP R/3 4.0B Oracle Windows NT. And in the last package I have the follow error:
#START: 20101029152725
TAB: SOC3
FIL: e:\EXP_EGP\DATA\SAPAPPL1.001 #20101029152725
DbSl Trace: DBSL-buffer (33000 bytes) too small for statement (requires 100045)
(IMP) ERROR: DbSlBegModify: rc = 2, table "SOC3"
(SQL error 0)
error message returned by DbSl:
ORA-00000: normal, successful completion
I add the parameter dbs/ora/array_buf_size=1000000 in the default profile, but the error is similar.
Where I must to modify the parameters?
regards, Alberto.

Hello,
wow - SAP R/3 4.0B - quite antique...
I found this note: 94541 - DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL select .. where .. in <itab>
It is suggesting to adjust parameter dbs/io_buf_size =<size>
But I do not think that SAP parameter are playing any role in this - I would say that this is purely R3load stuff.
Do you use latest R3load? If not download latest dbsl and R3load from marketplace from archive.
I found there version:
SAP KERNEL 4.0B_EXT 32-BIT -> Windows Server on IA32 32bit -> ORACLE
R3load_30-10002453.CAR = R3LOAD patch level 30
SAP KERNEL 4.0B_COM 32-BIT -> Windows Server on IA32 32bit -> ORACLE
R3load_30-10000894.CAR = R3LOAD patch level 30
Not sure which kernel do you use...
Normally I would also recommend to download database library (dbsl) but unfortunately no such is available on Marketplace.
If this move is done as part of upgrade project - you might be lucky enough to get some support from SAP.
(Anyway be prepared to get answer from SAP: "Upgrade first to supported release and then attempt migration.")
Best regards.

    Dear Ram Nath,
    It may be late but it will be use full to others.
    I faced similar issue and solved it by commenting the 5th line of DFACT.SQL file.
    The issue was with the indexes not being generated properly to avoid such issues we must ensure to implement SAP note 1991576 in prior, if not we can comment the 5th line.
    Below is the corrected file in my case
    # ORACLE : NATIVE SQL EXPORT GENERATED AT 20150426083248
    #ind:  - commented line (earlier it was just 'ind: ')
    ind: /BI0/E0PPM_VC1~0

    Please let me know in case of queries if any.

  • Migrate hundreds of Oracle databases to RHEL/Windows using DP/TTS/Shareplex

    Am working on devising a migration strategy for several Oracle databases from one physical data-center location to another data-center location through dedicated WAN links. Overall snapshot:
    Total 365 Dbs (28 to Oracle RAC 11gR2 and approx. 300 to DataGuard and Standalone). Source Databases versions are Oracle 9.2.0.4/9.2.0.7/10.2/10.2.0.4/11.2/11.2.0.4.
    Source Databases are currently on different versions of Linux/HPUX/AIX/Windows OS. Target Database OS platform(most of them): RHEL 5.8/RHEL 6(atleast for Unix) and Windows. Plan is to migrate same versions and not upgrade(due to applications dependency). am thinking of using
    -Oracle Datapump
    -Transportable Tablespaces+RMAN scripting(for target datafiles)
    -Shareplex for Databases in TB (this tool allows ZDT, zero-downtime migration/from Quest software)
    Also my Storage/SAN colleague is using Swing gear (AUTO-LUN+BC) to migrate virtualizing the storage arrays from Source to Target location. Is it possible to "piggyback" on this SAN-level migration of the "physical" datafiles and then use Shareplex to migrate the archivelogs and apply them over to Target databases?
    Need your inputs please. Thanks in advance..
    Abhijit

    Abhijit,
    If you haven't had any feedback yet then the best option is to ask this question in the Database forum -
    Forum: Database - General
    General Database Discussions
    This forum is for migratiing from non-Oracle to Oracle databases and they will be better able to help moving Oracle from one machine to another.

  • MII 14.0 SP4 :Migration error while importing SAP BM Templates

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing some migration errors while importing SAP Batch Manufacturing Templates into MII 14.0 SP4.
    There are almost 23 transactions which are not getting imported and the error message for all of them is-

  • I received an error trying to migrate from Outlook 2010 to Thunderbird on Windows 7 and my folders didn't migrate over. I get an error trying to import setting

    I have windows 7 professional running MS office 2010. I have 3 email accounts that I send and receive mail. these are all IMAP accounts. I installed Thunderbird and tried to import everything and the contacts import ok (except for my icloud contacts) but there is an error when importing the settings. The mail seems to import fine however I can only access mail for one of the email accounts. The other two just show a folder and no subfolders in the mail tree iin the left pane.
    When I try to look up the accounts, I only see one account configured, the other ones are not there

    Hi,
    One of these would solve your problem.
    1. When the installation fails, check if DB is running, if not restart the DB services and continue with the installation.
    2. It might be due to the fact that the database space allocation was insufficient. The default amount of volumes created by the installer would be low.
    3. Also increase the virtual memory (Run the pre install check). Give sufficient virtual memory.
    Feel free to revert back.

  • Java error while importing MDL on owb 11.1.0.7

    hello experts
    When importing a large MDL I have following error:
    The error occurs after completing 89% of the 8Mb MDL file. I have tried with a merge and a replace option.
    Small remark (but might be huge) is that the exported repository is one of 10.0.3.33 and the one I'm importing to is 11.1.0.7.
    Thanks in advance for any guidelines towards solving this issue.
    Error occurred importing from file "C:\Work\AB_Inbev\PG_GREECE_DWH.mdl".

    Hi,
    Does the import into 10.1 work?
    You may try to migrate to owb 10r2 first. Then export again and import into 11.1.

    Carsten.

  • Errors when importing 10.2.0.4  Solaris xml schema into 11g Linux

    We are migrating our database from 10g on Solaris to 11g on Linux. Used expdt for full DB but getting this error - (ORA-39139: Data Pump does not support XMLSchema objects. TABLE_DATA:"SPRUBATCH"."ACCNT_XML_STG_50" will be skipped.) for the schema containing XML. So used exp for this particular schema. But Getting the following errors during import:

    ORA-22814: attribute or element value is larger than specified in type

    Should we deinstall 11g XDB and bring in 10g XDB ? It seems like the "XDB.DBMS_XMLSCHEMA" has changed from 10 to 11?
    Or there is upgrade script needs to be run?
    Who has done this upgrade before and appreciate if you can share your experience with us.
    Thanks!

  • WSDLException: faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Error reading import from oramds

    Hi,
    We are currently facing a strange problem. We have two composites that needs to be deployed on to the 11g SOA server.
    composite A and composite B. A is a dependent composite of composite B and we are referring the WSDL of composite B in composite A using oramds.
    Our oramds is pointing to DB based metadata repository and for the deployment time there is no issue encountered. Also during the deployment time we follow the order like deploy B and then deploy A. But when we need to restart our SOA Server , after restarting we see that though composite B is up and running state but composite A goes in pending state. Not able to diagnose the issue. Please note that the after the sucessful deployment both the composites are coming as up and running state. Below is the error we encountered in SOA diagnostic log .

    Appreciate a response.
    Thanks

    Thanks both of you for your response.
    @user13268867: Yes. I am using Stored Procedure.But The same thing is used in Provider as well. But EBS is not going in pending state.
    There is no migration as you mentioned. It is pure development from scratch on AIA 11gR1.
    @Pavan :
    Please find the dependency in the composite.
    In the Requestor:
    <reference name="DisbursedPaymentEBSV1"
    ui:wsdlLocation="oramds:/apps/AIAMetaData/Banking/wsdl/DisbursedPaymentEBSV1.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://xmlns.oracle.com/EnterpriseServices/Core/DisbursedPayment/V1#wsdl.interface(DisbursedPaymentEBS)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://xmlns.oracle.com/EnterpriseServices/Core/DisbursedPayment/V1#wsdl.endpoint(DisbursedPaymentEBSV1_ep/DisbursedPaymentEBS_pt)"
    location="oramds:/apps/AIAMetaData/Banking/wsdl/DisbursedPaymentEBSV1.wsdl"/>
    </reference>
    In the EBS:
    <reference name="DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1Service"
    ui:wsdlLocation="http://host:port/soa-infra/services/default/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://xmlns.fostersgroup.com/intg/COBankOfAmerica/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1#wsdl.interface(DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://xmlns.fostersgroup.com/intg/COBankOfAmerica/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1#wsdl.endpoint(DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1Service/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1_pt)"
    location="http://host:port/soa-infra/services/default/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1/DisbursedPaymentBOFAProvABCSImplV1Service?WSDL"/>
    </reference>
    When the EBS is up after restarting the server but Requestor is not.
    Please note that in the EBS composite I have referred the Provider WSDL directly using Server URL where as in the Requestor i have provided the Oramds path reference of the EBS runtime WSDL.
    Thanks

  • "error when importing object" when selecting variant

    Hello,
    we recently migrated from 4.6 to 4.7.
    For some programs, when selecting a variant, this gives a runtime error, like
    Error when importing object "C131A2"
    What is the cause of this? Because the values in the variant aren't valid anymore?
    How can this be solved?
    Thanks in advance for the help

    Glad to help - you'll likely have to run it after every upgrade (for different reports).

  • Error while importing music in iMovie 11 From itunes 10

    Error while importing music in iMovie 11
    I have the same error explained in a other post which was still left unanswered
    I have this sound problem after reorganising folders by itunes, i tried to delete al files in itunes and also
    deleted the xml file in the itunes dir, created new playlists, but still i have no music sound in imovie timeline
    after dragging a mp3 into it. When i preview the file in imovie it souds ok.
    Also i see the red dot with the number 1 in the itunes logo while dragging the mp3.
    Is there a solution for this problem?
    Former post;

    I'm having the exact same issue, but still haven't figured out what it is. I note that at the top of this thread it indicates that there are two "helpful" entries and one "solved" entry, but I can't find the solved one, so maybe someone will repost it here or kindly link to it.
    There is one icon missing though.
    As I read through the excellent tutorial at http://www.kenstone.net/fcphomepage/imovie_09stone.html I scroll down to the point where he talks about dragging music in from iTunes, which is what I'm trying to do. I can see, in his screen shot, the extra little icon that is a red oval and a white "1" in it. I don't get that icon when I am trying to drag my music into the video. I do get the green and white plus icon when I try to drag my music in. Also I DO get BOTH the red 1 and the green plus when I try dragging in a sound effect, which I can do with no problem. But why not the music?
    I've been able to drag in music with no problem in other productions, so I can't figure out what is going on with this one. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that got flipped, but I can't figure out where.
    In desperation I also tried adding an extra title slide at the end of my video just to make sure there is more video time than music time in the production, but that didn't help at all.
    Any help guys?

    Hi
    Due to some kind of copy protection in iTunes - I don't copy directly from this in iMovie
    to my projects. (Most often the result of doing it in iMovie is a DVD without any sound)
    I do
    • In iTunes - collect needed audio into a new Playlist
    • then burn this out as an Audio-CD .aiff (NOT .mp3)
    • This CD I copy into a folder on my Mac (often containing other material that's connected to the project)
    • And then I drag and drop these .aiff files into my movie project in iMovie.
    This works Greatly and even more so when I do my DVD.
    Yours Bengt W
