Error in Pivot table

Hi,
I created a report having three pivot tables. Its working fine except for one where i have more records than other two. I have 3 dimension columns and one measure. I want a grand total and sub total on 2 dimensions. Maximum number of records in my report is 134. I want column values to be repeated instead of suppress. Out of this 3 dimension columns two are coming from same table and i want subtotal on this two.Grand total and sub total for higher level dimension column is working fine but when i click sub total for 2nd dimension then its showing following error can you guys help me to sort this out.

  • Error with Pivot Table in 10.3.6 weblogic server

    Hi Everyone,
    I created an ADF application and in that i have a Pivot Table i developed using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 it was working fine when we deployed the application in Weblogic server 10.3.3.
    Now DBA's upgraded the Weblogic server to 10.3.6 so i downloaded Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6 and generated the EAR file and deployed in the new 10.3.6 server. The pivot table is not working i am getting the following error message
    Root cause of ServletException.

    The code remains the same nothing changed from 10.3.3 to 10.3.6 and i even tried deploying the ear file generated from jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 even that did not work.
    Is this soemthing related to libraries issue?
    Can some one help me on this.
    Thanks,

  • AGO function error in Pivot Table

    Hi,
    I have a typical time dimension - year, period, week, date. Most of my facts are available at the most detailed level of date however I have some Budget facts that are only available at the week level. When I combine these facts in a report I am having the below problem.
    I use an ago function at the yearweek level ( I needed this so that I can compare week numbers as oppposed to week date ranges which is how the year ago function works - I believe).
    If I have a total on year in my pivot table I get the below error -
    State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 22036] Level in AGO function (YearWeek) must be a rollup of (or equivalent to) the measure level (Year). (HY000)
    Has anyone come across this before ?
    Thanks

    I am getting the following error message, not sure how to get rid of this.

    You have TableDestination:="" which means you are not specifying a destination and therefore a new sheet gets created and it becomes the active sheet. You are selecting Sheets("Premium Pivot") which will not
    have the pivot table and the remainder of the code references the ActiveSheet.
    Either delete the line Sheets("Premium Pivot").Select or set the table destination like the following.
    TableDestination:="'Premium Pivot'!R3C1"      (Note the single quotes around the sheet name that contains a space. Edit the range on the destination to suit your requirements.)

  • Error Message: "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources" when creating pivot table with Excel 2013

    Hi,
    One of our users encountered this problem with Excel 2013 while creating pivot tables, particularly with large files. We tried to modify Virtual Memory
    of the pc but error still persist. Why does this happen and how can we resolve this? Thanks.
    Another error message encountered by the user, this time when opening large files. The files she tried to open are working fine in 2010. But when opened in 2013, it prompted : "There
    isn't enough memory to complete this action. Try using less data or closing other applications."

    Hi,
    In regarding of the issue, please provide us more information to assist you better.
    Did your user using the Excel 2013 and Excel 2010 with same PC? If not, please let me know the both of the 2 PCs' hardware list/Windows operation system info.
    Did you using Excel 2013 32bit version and Excel 2010 64bit version?
    General speaking, this issue usually occurs with Office 2013 32 bit version. It has a limitation of 2Gb of memory that can be used by its process. And the 64-bit Excel can handle larger workbooks.
    Thus, if your user using 32bit Excel, I recommend try 64bit Excel instead.
    Here is a similar issue, we also could try it:

  • Pivot tables and charts error: Please load datasource first

    hi all,
    i am getting a error: please load data source first in rtf template , only for pivot table and charts(note: normal tables and fields i can insert )
    Please help me with this.
    Thanks and Regards
    Prakhar

    Well... if you think and try long enough, you may find the solution .
    The core problem is to reference to queried values not shown in the table/chart. And there IS a solution.
    Just use...
    NoFilter(RelativeValue([measure prior year_1];([year/month]);-12))
    ... instead of
    RelativeValue([measure prior year_1];([year/month]);-12)
    NoFilter enables RelativeValue to reference to values not present in a table or chart, but available in the report .
    From there on, you can define e.g. the starting point of the category axis of a chart by defining a local filter without losing values to be referenced .

  • Pivot table runtime error 1004

    Hello, i have problem with creating pivot table using vba...this is the code:
    ActiveWorkbook.PivotCaches.Create(SourceType:=xlDatabase, SourceData:= _
    "Zdroj!R1C1:R" & Pocet & "C5", Version:=xlPivotTableVersion12).CreatePivotTable _
    TableDestination:="Vysledek!R1C1", TableName:="Kontingenční tabulka 2", _
    DefaultVersion:=xlPivotTableVersion12
    every time when i run macro i receive this message: runtime errror 1004...
    Please can you help me solve this issue???
    Thanks a lot...
    Mathew

    You can only run that macro code once - because then you have the pivotcache existing and cannot add the same one again.  Try it this way:
    On Error Resume Next
    ActiveWorkbook.PivotTables("Kontingencní tabulka 2").PivotCache.Delete
    ActiveWorkbook.PivotCaches.Create(SourceType:=xlDatabase, SourceData:= _
            "Zdroj!R1C1:R" & pocet & "C5", Version:=xlPivotTableVersion12).CreatePivotTable _
            TableDestination:="Vysledek!R1C1", TableName:="Kontingencní tabulka 2", _
            DefaultVersion:=xlPivotTableVersion12

  • Error in displaying pivot table

    Hi everyone,
    I have't seen any thread that gives me an answer to my problem.
    I have OBI SE 10.1.3.4 on Windows Server 2003.
    In physical layer i've table REQUEST:
    Pack varchar,
    Seg varchar,
    State varchar,
    SUM_ACT double,
    SUM_PRE double.
    I mapped REQUEST into two tables in Business Model and Mapping:
    DIM_REQUEST:
    Pack varchar PK,
    Seg varchar PK,
    State varchar PK
    FAC_REQUEST:
    Pack varchar FK,
    Seg varchar FK,
    State varchar FK,
    SUM ACT double, -- Sum()
    SUM PRE double, -- Sum()
    PERC double
    PERC is a new logical column: +((SUM ACT)/(SUM PRE))*100+
    Then I mapped FAC_REQUEST into the Presentation layer.
    In Answers I create pivot table with:
         Rows:
         Pack
         Seg
         Measure Labels
         Columns:
         State
         Measures:
         SUM ACT double
         SUM PRE double
         PERC
    Everything is fine, but when I try to add to the pivot table SUM: Columns->Sum (After or Before), I got the following error:
    Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P

    Any idea?

  • Error in displaying two pivot tables side by side

    I am creating two pivot tables. They work fine when one after the other. BI Publisher gives an error if I place them side by side.
    One more issue. If i use this "for-eachCOLUMN0end" I get the following:
    Balances with Central Bank
    Cash and Cash-equivalent Securities
    Inter-bank Deposits
    Cash
    Asset-backed Securities Assets
    I want to just display any one of these, say Cash. How do I achieve that?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Varun

    The method has to diplay two boxes side-by side, as if they were sitting on the ground next to each other. The first box's character is the number 1. It has a height of 3, a length of 8 and has to sit six spaces from the left side of the page and be completely filled in. The second box sits six paces from the first, it has a height of 8, a length of 5 and the character has to be the number 2. This is filled in as well.
    I understand I would have to build on the method. How would I go about formulating a plan to do this. The program is a textmode device, like a printer prints from left to right.
    Thanks for reply

    user11204020, what's your question?? :)
    You're getting an out of disk space error ... which means you've run out of disk space, no?
    Since it's saw related I'm guessing you'll need to make more space available to your OracleBIdata/tmp directory

  • BIEE Pivot Table Pie Chart Error

    When we use pivot table and views in BIEE (Measure labels in the Rows), the label of the pie chart will only display the first measure name. There are only color box no text from the second measure name.
    Does any one know how to fix this issue?

    We are using BI Publisher stand-alone version 10.1.3.3.2 running on RHEL 4. We are using Excel 2003 SP3, and .NET Framework 2.0 SP1.
