Error in result of query

Hi,
I have got a peculiar senario while executing a query.
The query result is not matching with the line items sum.
i have checked the definition of result, which is as nothing defined.
When I check for the same values in another query, and correlate this with the current one, there is always a difference in the result, where as the line items match in both the cases.
The second query is giving out a correct values.
However this query is giving out correct sum sometimes and mostly it is giving the wrong value in the result column.
Regards,

Hi,
Is that Kf has any units.(like 0currency)?
Are you geeting any differnt currencies in the rows of the query?

  • Error - DRG-51030: wildcard query expansion resulted in too many terms

    Hi All,
    My searches against a 100 million company names table on org names often result in the following error:
    DRG-51030: wildcard query expansion resulted in too many terms
    A sample query would be:
    select v.* --xref.external_ref_party_id,v.*
    from xxx_org_search_x_v vwhere 1 =1
    and state_province = 'PA'
    and country = 'US'
    and city = 'BRYN MAWR'
    and catsearch(org_name,'BRYN MAWR AUTO*','CITY=''BRYN MAWR''' ) > 0
    I understand that is caused by the presence of the word Auto to which we append a * . (If i remove the auto the search works fine).
    My question is - is there a way to limit the query expansion to only , say 100, results that get returned from the index?

    where dr$token like 'AUTO%'

    i get more than 1M rows.
    is there a way to include and search for the city name along with the org name?

  • Error while running the query on web.

    Hello Friends
    I am getting the error message "Result set too large (1056716 cells); data retrieval restricted by configuration (maximum = 500000 cells)" while executing the query on the web in BI 2004s. How can this be resolved.
    Any help in this regards is appreciated and points will be assigned.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rishi,
    Maybe your queries returned too large volume of data.
    So, if possible,
    1, create some filter on your query  to reduce the transferred data
    2, chaange your query structure (reduce the items on the column or low)
    and your error message seemed to be generated from BEx Analyzer...
    does web report have "cells"?
    if BEx Analyzer, the limit of cells volume is inneviable.
    and if you use BEx Web, do you know note1008619?
    this note describe about the limit of data volume on web applications.
    Hope it help,
    Kanako

  • Error while executing the query

    Hi all,
    I am facing two errors while executing my query namely
    1)The validity interval has initial value as lower limit.
    2)Diagnosis
    Query  uses non-cumulative key figures. It requires calculation for non-cumulative values for more than 2000 periods in time. The most common reason for this is that the non-cumulative InfoCube has a very large validity interval and the query has no time restrictions. With exception aggregation AVERAGE (AV1 or AV2) in particular, this lack of time restriction would result in considerable memory and performance problems.
    System Response
    Query  cannot be executed in this way.
    Please suggest a possible reason for these errors.
    Thanks and Regards.

    ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P007
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (VEL5APPO.BL1_CHARGE_PK) violated
    =======Not sure why you think this a complex and unusual and difficult to understand error. It is very clear what is happening.
    WHAT: your code violates constraint VEL5APPO.BL1_CHARGE_PK that says that one or more columns must contain unique values.
    Who says it? That is specified by the first line in the error stack.
    WHO: parallel query process 7 ran into the constraint error
    So what's happening? Your SQL is executed in parallel. Up to 7 PX slaves are used to run your SQL - with each slave running the SAME SQL for DIFFERENT rowid ranges. PX slave 7 attempted an insert/update that would have resulted in a duplicate row. The database constraint protecting the integrity of that table, prevented it.
    So the error is very clear as to what is wrong, why it is wrong, and where it is happening.
    I fail to understand that you search google and metalink and failed to find answers, when the error is meaningful....?

  • LDAP: error code 1 - Invalid query reference]; remaining name '

    I have the following function for a paged search operation.
    Data retrieved by this function is used somewhere else to modify the Ldap Directory context.
    Despite my setting for ctx and search control as "no timeout", i've been keeping thrown the exception for operations lasting more than 5 minutes(consistently) and for some short operations(sporadically):
    Paged Search failed : javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 1 - Invalid query reference]; remaining name '<directory>'
    I am using DirX as LDAP directory.
    Is this a time-out related exception which can be fixed in the code?
    How can it be fixed?
    There's no clue all over the web about this.
    Thanks.

    So i have to modify this entry during runtime, which is unfortunately only can be accesed by dirxadm.exe.
    Is it possible to modify this attribute by a ldap context method?

    Bea doc says that the cause of this error is that the context is closed in a different thread than the one that created it. I have multiple thread that query the mbeans. The code that does the above is in a synchronized block. The code runs fine on some environments. On wls 8.1 it is giving the above error.
    Anyone faced this issue? Any ideas, suggestions?
    thanks a lot
    Jain

    Hi Daniel
    Thanks for your help. Here is some more info.
    I have another application that goes out and tries to get the MBeanHome. Here is the code:
    Environment env = new Environment();
    env.setProviderUrl(t3URL);
    env.setSecurityPrincipal(t3UserName);
    env.setSecurityCredentials(t3Password);
    ctx = env.getInitialContext();
    mBeanHome = (MBeanHome) ctx.lookup MBeanHome.ADMIN_JNDI_NAME);
    This code runs fine in the app. where it is not threaded. But the same code when run in a separate thread is throwing the error. It is happening only in wbl 8.1. In wls 6.1 it runs fine. It is strange. Any clues will be appreciated.

  • Error message "Error when scheduling the query(JOB_CLOSE)".

    Hi all,
    While using query extractor (rscrm_bapi) I am getting error message "Error when scheduling the query(JOB_CLOSE)".
    Could you please find what this error is?
    Thanks,
    Uday.

    Hi Uday,
    This problem can occur if you changed the query definition.
    In this case the query definition would be inconsistent with the existing extract structure.
    Certain Meta information is maintained with each extract defined using the RSCRM_BAPI. If the definition of the query is changed and you need to use the same extract table then you need to delete the extract using the report RSCRMBW_DEL_ALL_EXTRACTS selecting the extract you want
    to delete.
    After this you could use the same table name for any further extract that you need to create.
    One caution is that the extract table should not be deleted through any other transaction before you run the report.
    Rgds,
    Colum
