Error installing Azure SDK 2.2: An error occurred while parsing Entityname. Line 1031, position 71.

I am setting up a new machine for windows azure development. I have VS 2013 Ultimate with Team Explorer on Windows 7 Enterprise. When I launch the Web Installer for Azure SDK 2.2 I receive a dialog almost immediately with the message:
An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line 1031, position 71.
I ran the same installer on another machine with similar configuration of VS2013 and Win 7, and it doesn't display this dialog.
Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Based on your description, you install Azure SDK successful in a similar configuration machine, but it give "An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line 1031, position 71" error in your target machine, from my research, this may be Microsoft
server-side error, refer to

How to Install Azure SDK on Azure automation

i have a powershell script that connect to storage table and read the data from a Table. which works fine on the local where Azure SDK 2.1 is installed.
While i add it as part of Azure automation i get an error as not able to resolve "Microsoft.WindowsAzure" this is because we donot have Azure SDK on the machine where this
runbook of azure automation is running.
IS there any option to enable/install Azure SDK on the machine where runbook executes?
Is there any alternate option to upload required assemblies as part of setting so that runbook could use while executing.
below is the sample power shell script to connect to storage table.

This is not a scripting question. You need to ask this in the Azure forum.
Jut adding a bit of script to your question does not make it a script issue. Yu need to as the Azure techs how to install and manage the Azure platform. They will give you links to the docs you need to learn how to deploy Azure.
The SDK can be downloaded from Microsoft.

I have refered various blogs, however I am still not able to understand how to get the exact location of the error location..According to me, the value that is giving trouble is OTH in <BSARK> however I have checked the permitted values for BSARK on ECC and OTH is maintained.
Can you please help how I can resolve this error.

I've been searching everywhere for a reason to the following error message: ORA-20100: Error occurred while parsing: Start of root element expected.
I get this when attempting to parse an XML file stored as a CLOB using the xmlparser.parseClob procedure
Any help would be much appreciated.

I initially used US ASCII but then tried several unicode formats as created by XML Spy (UTF16, Unicode16, Unicode32). All had the exact same result.
Exactly what would be the most helpful output? The XML documents are varied, mostly very simple, but do you want the CLOB printed some other way?

I have the same problem with Weblogic 8.1 SP5 running on Itanium (the same appl. running on Xeon runs OK).

Can you answer the following questions
Which Release of the database are you using ?
What is the database character set ?
What is the character set encoding of the source document ?
Remember that the loadFromFile procedure is designed to load binary data, and does not convert data into the database character set. If the database character set is UTF8, then the CLOB data has to be UCS2.
Can you dump the contents of the CLOB
If you are using 9iR2 then you can use the new procedure GetCLOBFromFile which will perform the correct coversions.
Also in 9iR2 we would recommend the use of the DBMS_XMLPARSER package, rather than the XMLPARSER package. The reason for this is the DBMS_XMLPARSER makes use of a 'C' based parser, running as native compiled code, which XMLPARSER still uses the Java based version of the parser. Performance with DBMS_XMLPARSER is much better.

Hi I'm using domsample example. And I have written the program. The xml file at the starting has this string"<!DOCTYPE MobileInventoryResponse SYSTEM "MobileInventoryResponse.dtd">", from which I'm getting error -"ORA-20100: Error occurred while parsing: Error opening external DTD".
I'm new to xml could you please help me to solve this problem. I assume this is related to DTD for which I need to set base path. But I'm not sure how to do it? I'm getting this xml file through CLOB which I'm able to parse until an extent. where in between got this error.

Now if I load the xml file without the this :- <!DOCTYPE MobileInventoryResponse SYSTEM "MobileInventoryResponse.dtd">
it works well. But it gives error when this particular thing is there.

ORA-20100: Error occurred while parsing (from xml in custom schema)

Hi,
I am using xmlParser and xmlDom to extract information from xml document. My whole process works perfectly in the APPS schema on the Oracle e-Business Suite. The minute I move it to a custom schema (ie new User) I get this error.
ORA-20100: Error occurred while parsing: Element '' used but not declared.
This only occures at runtime. I am pretty sure I grant the correct SELECT and EXECUTE privileges to this Schema. If I hadn't then it would not compile. It compiles without errors on the Database.
Any help will be appreciated.

I just tried this again. I have Oracle9i 9.0.1.1 on my Windows
2000 laptop.
I went to OTN and downloaded the XDK 9.0.2D for PL/SQL
I used loadjava to load the \oracle\ora90\rdbms\jlib\xdb_g.jar
file into the database (shouldn't have had to do this) into the
XMLBOOK account. Filed a bug for needing to do this by hand.
I ran "xdkload.bat" with xmlbook/xmlbook as the username/password
I made sure the proxy server name was set correctly in the
example (if you don't need a proxy server, comment out that line
in the parse_xml_news.sql example, or that could cause your
error!!)
I ran the parse_xml_news.sql script, and I get:

Error installing IMlet....Emulator Error

Windows 8.1 (I have now also tried it on Windows 7)

Since downloading Netbeans a few days ago I've been having persistent problems. It's very slow and the the emulator starts up less than half the time. MosT of the time
I get An error once the emulator opens and it's about the begin running the program. It says:
Error Installing IMlet: See Device Log for Details. (see attachment)
The FATAL error message in the log is as follows:
[03:55:09.401] FATAL - lkit.ui.actions.AmsExecInstall - Unknown error: invalid url: file:///C:/Users/Kevins Home/Desktop/GPIOLEDTest/dist/GPIOLEDTest.jad (see attachment)
This problem also occurs on my girlfriends MAC using the same code + setup.
There's very little online material that seems to be relevant.
Would love to figure out what's wrong so I can finish this course: Develop Java Embedded Applications with a Raspberry Pi

I'm don't know what is causing this problem. Hopefully one of the Oracle folks can chime in on this.
Let me review a few things with you just to make sure your problem isn't something obvious...
1. You have all the software prerequisites installed: all the Java ME version 8 release software installed listed in the first few videos of lesson 1. This means not version 7, not pre-release, not beta. Make sure you have installed the exact versions of the software Tom listed in the video.
2. You have netbeans 8 installed.
3. You have putty installed
4. You have enabled ssh and a static IP address in the RPi
5. You can use putty to SSH to the Pi using your static IP addresspi
6. When you SSH to the Pi, it asks for your login, which is 'pi', and your password, which is 'raspberry''
7. Once you login to the pi you navigate to the AMS bin folder using 'cd javame8/bin'
8. Then you issue the command 'sudo ./usertest.sh' to start AMS. Note you must use sudo.
9. Your RPi will respond Java is starting. Press Ctrl-C to exit.
10. DO NOT press Ctrl-C
11. Go to the folder where your Netbeans projects are stored. On my computer it is c:/Users/Administrator/MyDocuments/NetBeansProjects.
12. Remove all projects from there. Either delete them or move them somewheres else for now. I want to make sure the project we test with has not been modified. Best way to do that is start out with no projects.
13. Startup Netbeans.
14. Verify there are no projects in Netbeans. There shouldn't be any because your NetBeansProjects folder should be empty.
15. Download GPIOLEDTest from the Oracle link in Lesson 1. It will download a zip file. Do not open it.
16. In Netbeans, select File / Import Project / From Zip...
17. Navigate to the GPIOLEDTest.zip. I think it will be in your Downloads folder.
18. It should now be installed as the only project in Netbeans.
12. There will be a Device Connection Manager in the system task bar at the lower left of Windows
13. Clicking it shows there is a connection to the static IP address of your RPi and it shows a status of Connected
14. Run the project. It should install and run.

Error installing SQL 2008 R2 anyversion. Error code: 1605

SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
MsiGetProductInfo failed to retrieve ProductVersion for package with Product Code = '{DF167CE3-60E7-44EA-99EC-2507C51F37AE}'. Error code: 1605..
What I've done so far:
1) Had to re-install Windows 7 because I kept getting a pop up that said my windows was unregistered, which it wasn't (known bug) so I re-installed as per MS recommendation.
2) Un-installed SQL 2008 + ran Microsoft Fix It tool.
3) Tried to re-install but I get this error.
4) After I got the error I deleted all the registry entries per instructions available where other's have posted this same problem. Started by reversing key and deleting what I found in the registry.
5) When I continued to get the error I renamed the registry directory UpgradeCodes to UpgradeCodes.old. Still fails with the same error.
6) I've rebooted after every step and I've repeated this many times...
In all cases when I try to re-install it fails with Error code: 1605. At this point when I search the registry for the reversed key it is not found. It's gone.
Not sure what to do next.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx

According to your description, you fail to install SQL Server 2008 R2 with the error code 1605. Please help to post SQL Server setup error log for analysis. By default, SQL Server setup summary and detail logs are located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log.
Based on my research, this issue could be due to the remains of a previous unfinished installation. To troubleshoot the issue, please pay attention to the points below.
1.Make sure that your account has admin rights and you right-click the setup.exe and choose “Run as administrator” to install SQL Server.
2.Make sure that your account has full control over the following key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\

I have a ThinkPad X40. I tried to reformat it using the recovery partition, but that failed... great system huh? Anyway, i installed Windows XP using a different CD and i tried to install the ThinkVantage System Update and got an Error 1722.
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A progam run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action StartSuService.EXE, location: ...\startsuservice.exe "
It had placed an executable entry in my start menu, so i tried to run it and got "A problem occured while loading the system update......" which seems to have been experienced by a lot of people. Looks like i'm at a dead end here as well... So far the Laptop has been fine with everything apart from lenovo software...
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Error installing PetaLinux SDK

Hello,
I get the following error when i run the petalinux installer:
INFO: Installing PetaLinux...
./petalinux-v2014.4-final-installer.run: line 131: /tmp/tmp.XInB9FfGMx/petalinux-v2014.4-final/tools/common/petalinux/utils/petalinux-install: No such file or directory
I'm running Ubuntu 12.0.4 64bit Client on a VBox with a Windows 7 64bit host.
Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?

Error Installing Preview Ed of EP SP16-Error Msg-SAP:JMIG:640:Migration.*.*

Downloaded EP SP16 Preview from SDN and attempted to install. Early in the install process, the system was looking for software package: CD/DVD name: Migration Export Java. It was looking for the path / location of this DVD. I have attempted to point this to different paths for all the 3 EP installation files I downloaded but to no avail. I cannot proceeed from this step until pointing to a path that contain this software package.
Further, there isn't a way to bypass this step and proceed.
Error Message received:
"You have to specify a location for the requested package SAP:JMIG:640:MIGRATION..
Specify the location which contains the right LABEL.ASC, or skip the checking!".
Anyone encountered this?
Greatly appreciate any ideas / input.

Hi,
We had a similar problem and fixed it by following the below procedure.
1. Make sure that rdisp/j2ee_start profile parameter is having value 1.
2. During system copy - export phase, deselect option of using a database tool for system copy (By default this is deselected.
3. In the database schema screen, make sure that ABAP and JAVA are selected.
By this method, both ABAP and JAVA exports will be created in the export directory. You can see the generated JAVA label.asc in
..export\JAVA\ folder.

Internal error occured while parsing heap dump.

I have a huge heap dump .hprof file (800 MB) in size and I tried to open it with memory analyzer in Eclipse. After parsing the file till 4%, I get internal error occurred. Java heap space. My system has 2GB memory. Below is the command I used to launch eclipse. Can someone help me with this ? Many thanks for your time.

Hello Hari,
I would recommend that you first try to give more memory to eclipse and see if this helps. Try with 1200m for example.
I can't give you a precise estimation how much memory will be needed, as the limiting factor is the number of objects in the heap dump (not the size of the file). This number varies from case to case. In 800mb you may have only a few huge objects, but it may also happen that there are more than 20.000.000 of very small objects.
So, please try with more memory, and let me know if you still encounter the problem.
