Error loading java class.

I'm tryng to use a simple java class in internal jvm.
When I try to load it I get a lot of error like :
0/0 MailHandler:7: cannot resolve symbol
0/0 symbol : class Folder
0/0 location: package mail
0/0 import javax.mail.Folder;
What did I forget ?
I'm using Oracle 10.2.0.3 and the required classes seems to be into correctly loaded.

Hi,
Check whether the class is available in the schema or in the sys schema with a public synonym
select dbms_java.longname(object_name) from user_objects;
select dbms_java.longname(object_name) from all_objects;

  • How i load java class through javascript

    Hi,

From your post it is not very clear what you want to do.
    1. Even if it was possible to load client classes using javascript, how on earth are you going to execute them ??? JavaScript and java are entirely different cups of tea.
    2. If it was an applet, then probably you can access some classes from the client machine. Definely the default packages. However, I don't know whether you can access other classes. That might lead to a security issue. Please check with a java securities expart.
    3. Loading a class from the client machine is DEFINITELY A BAD PROGRAMMING PRACTICE Use the codebase property on your applet tag to load the classes from the server.

  • Error while trying to load java classes

I am doing a 9iAS installation - at the end
of the installation I get an error stating
that the SSOHash class has not been loaded into the database. When I run the loadjava utility to load the class into the database
    I get the following error:
ora-29545: badly formed class: user has
attempted to load a class (oracle.security.sso.SSOHash) into a restricted package. Permission can be granted by using dbms_java.grant_permission.
When I execute the dbms_java package I get
    the following error:
    ora-29532: classnotfoundexception
    ora-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_JAVA", line 0
The install is being carried out on Solaris.
and the jdk version of the OS is 1.1. I read
in the oracle documentation that Oracle 8i
uses Java 2 compliance. Would it be a good
idea to upgrade the os jdk to 2.0 and do
a fresh install or are there workarounds.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

This is a little late, but it sounds like you don't have the Java option installed on the database.

  • Java.sql.sqlexception ora24344 error while trying to load Java class

    Hi Guys,
I am getting "java.sql.sqlexception ora24344 error" while trying to load a java class using sql developer. Due to sensitivity of the code I am unable to post the code here but has anyone experienced a similar error before?
    Thanks

    Hi,
ora-24344 is known. It means it compiled but there are errors. Because you are not telling which version of Oracle you use, it is hard. Also you couldn't provide code will not make it easy. A common error is not having the right right on packages of SYS, such as UTL_* or DBMS_SYS_SQL. Can you maybe give the line of your code which produces the error?

  • OAAM 11g R2: Unable to load java class for custom configurable action

Need to configure a Configurable Action to get triggered for a particular action at a given checkpoint.
    Steps Followed:
    1. Created a java class implementing com.bharosa.vcrypt.tracker.dynamicactions.intf.DynamicAction, getParameters() and execute() methods were implemented in that java class.
    2. Added necessary jars from $ORACLE_IDM_HOME\oaam\cli\lib to the build classpath.
    3. Compiled and created a jar with it.
    4. Extracted the oracle.oaam.extensions.war file into a working folder.
    5. Added the Custom Jar created in step 3 into <working folder>/WEB-INF/lib/
    6. Changed the following in MANIFEST.MF in <working folder>/META-INF/:
    Specification-Version:11.1.2.0.1
    Implementation-Version:11.1.2.0.1
    7. Rejar-ed the oracle.oaam.extensions.war from the working folder using following command:
    jar -cvfm oracle.oaam.extensions.war <working folder>\META-INF\MANIFEST.MF -C <working folder>/ .
    8. Stopped the oaam_admin_server1, oaam_offline_server1 and oaam_server_server1.
    9. Deleted the oracle.oaam.extensions deployment from the weblogic.
    10. Deployed the newly created oracle.oaam.extensions as a shared library for oaam_admin_server1 and oaam_server_server1.
    11. Started all managed servers.

This thread is a bit stale but I thought it might help to clarify one point about custom jar files on UCCX.
To properly load a custom jar:
Upload it into the classpath directory in the document repository.
Select it under System | Custom Classes Configuration
Finally you need to restart the CCX Engine and the CCX Administration services.  If you have HA you need to restart them on both servers.
    Other notes:
When referencing your class in the CCX Editor, use the fully qualified name of the class.  Lots of other classes use things like Element or Document so you need to be explicit. The editor only knows about the 20 native classes by their object names.  If you create a Document object in the editor you are really creating a com.cisco.doc.Document object.  If you loaded jdom.jar and you wanted a jdom document then you need to create an object of type org.jdom.Document.
When compiling your custom jar files, be sure to compile for the version of Java that the CCX Engine runs.  In general UCCX 7.X and older use Java 1.4.  UCCX 8.X and higher use Java 1.6.  Several of the core Java classes had significant changes between 1.4 and 1.6. If you ran your code on UCCX 7 or earlier and now it fails in UCCX 8.X or higher, recomplile for Java 1.6 and you classes will likely work again.
Finally, check for security violations in UCCX 8.X or higher.  Cisco has restricted some of the things you can do.  These URL's have more information:
    http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Engine
    http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Troubleshooting_Tips_for_Unified_CCX_8.0

  • Eclipse plugin error (import java class)

Hello, I am actually developing a complex interface program in JavaFx, the main component is a Swing component with a universe 3D inside (a map of a buildign). So in some javafx classes I have to import java classes and I obtain an import error. I have in the same package a java class and a javafx class with the same import and I only have the error in the javafx one.
Does somebody have the same error? or know how can I fix it?
    Thanks and Regards

Thanks for your suggestion, in fact I'm actually developing in Netbeans. My application is really complex I have a java3D universe in a swing component and the javaFx nodes are drawn on it. When I load some nodes and move them over the 3D I obtain a JVM error, I've read that it could be solved in some cases compiling the project in eclipse so I'm trying to do it.
I tried to solve the JVM error hardly, at first it was thrown every time I load a new module in my scene an moved it, I improve the performance of my application and I've decreased the error a lot. In fact, the error only appear if I load the 3D universe and I'm sure that is because of the rendering. I've tried all I can imagine so now I'm trying that kind of stupid thing.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Error Invoking Java class from Stored proc

We are getting this error while calling a stored procedure that invokes a
static function of a java class from inside Oracle 8.1.7.
ORA-29516: Aurora assertion failure: Java thread deadlock detected
    ORA-06512: at "APPS.SERVICECONSUMERINVOKE", line 0
    ORA-06512: at line 40
In a Toad SQL Window, when I execute the stored procedure that invokes the
java function, it executes successfully on the first attempt. When I try to
execute it again on the same SQL Window, it gives the above error. The java
class is part of a package and indirectly makes a JMS request-reply call
    via other helper classes.
The same package works fine from other web containers and
unlike the Oracle JVM Aurora, the JVMs don't detect a deadlock.
Why does the Aurora throw an error?

Did you try issusing a commit and then trying again in Toad SQL Window?
The advice is to contact support:
    ORA-29516: Aurora assertion failure: string
Cause: An internal error occurred in the Aurora module.
    Action: Contact Oracle Worldwide Support.

  • Retrive message mapping error from java class

    Hi,
I'm trying to create a scenario that if exist an error in the message mapping step this error will be inserted in a Ztable. I'm thinking in to call to the message mapping from a java class to catch the exception and this java class will be used in the interface mapping.
Is it possible? If yes, How to call the message mapping from java code?
    Exists other possible solution?
I need to do it because we want store all mapping errors in a Ztable. (Customer requeriment)
    Thanks, in advance
    Jose Manuel

you can throw generic exceptions from the message mapping like this - /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2007/04/26/xipi-throwing-generic-exceptions-from-any-type-of-mapping
you can then decide how to handle these exceptions
