Error NtpClient was unable to set a manual peer. DNS resolution error When using IP address.

We have been migarting to some new DCs. one of the new DCs now has all the master roles call it DC01.
when I try and sync/setup NTP on this server as the the authoritive NTP in the doamin I get:
NtpClient was unable to set a manual peer to use as a time source because of DNS resolution error on '”10.*.*.*,0x1”'. NtpClient will try again in 15 minutes and double the reattempt interval thereafter. The error was: No such host is known. (0x80072AF9)
I am using the following commands to set NTP up on the server.
>net stop w32time
>w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:"10.*.*.*,0x1"
>w32tm /config /reliable:yes
>net start w32time.
Is anyone aware of what the issue could be?
Ps one of the old dc can still sync to this site manually if tried.

Unable to open windows using boot camp. Get message "The bless tool was unable to set the current boot disk." I am using an Imac , Lion operating system, and Windows 7. It worked a few days ago. Any thoughts, Thank you.
Note that nowhere in the Boot Camp instructions does it tell you to use Disk Utility to format the Windows partition. The Boot Camp Assistant program creates the partition & sets the +partition scheme info+ of the disk as appropriate for the Windows installer but the Windows installer itself is responsible for formatting the new partition with the appropriate +file system scheme+ (NTFS for Windows 7).
If you follow the instructions in the Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide to the letter you should have no problems installing Windows. -

We have fatal or critical error message on Microsoft Intune Portal but all agents are working just fine. Before opening support ticket we would like to hear comments from the experts on this forum. We would also like to fix this error before starting to
manage mobile devices with Intune.
Error message on Intune Portal:
"Microsoft Intune was unable to set the desired mobile device policy for one or more users due to the following error: A2CE0100"
Repeated: 19 times.

Random Fatal error message on C:\Program Files\Microsoft\OnlineManagement\Logs\PolicyAgent.log found from one Windows 8.1 client:
2015-02-21 08:49:20:704 2852 1ab0 FATAL: DocumentProvider::IndicateToConsumer/pp->ProcessPolicies(NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL) failed with error 0x800704d5.
That said, we are not facing any specific problem but we would like to find symptom of this repeating error message on Intune Portal . We would appreciate to get any thoughts about this case.

Hello. I am owner of an iPod Touch 5gen. I have an error "iTunes was unable to load provider data from sync services". I tried: All Apple's tutorials including reseting sync data, reinstalling and deleting all of iTunes components including deleting it from system registry. My system is Windows 7 64bit.

[URGENT HELP] Why is cannot install Windows 7 on my X120e? ERROR : Setup was unable to create..
i have got X120e from my college with ubuntu 11.04 installed. But my half of softwares dont work on this Lunix OS so decided to install windows 7, downloaded officially as i have keys for activation.
I used USB drive to install, Windows 7 setup sucessfully started on boot up but its getting error
"Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information"
I have not connected any other devices.
My Hard disk is NOT dynamic, its basic.
I have contacted lenovo service centre, but this are taking up calls.

Do you just want to delete the Ubuntu partition? If so, you may be able to do by booting from the Microsoft Windows 7 installation disc, pressing Shift+F10 to get to a Command Prompt, and then using the DISKPART.EXE program to erase the hard disk drive.

Error: Mail was unable to rename ....
I have a few mailboxes in On My Mac that contain a couple of levels of subfolders. I'm not having any trouble accessing messages in these mailboxes, but when I try to move or rename some of these folders I get an error message that says I'm unable to rename the mailbox. If I try to rename "Mailboxname" to "OtherName", for instance, I get the message:
Error: Mail was unable to rename "~Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Personal/Saved Mail/Archive/Mailboxname
While the error dialog is present, the display name of the folder in the sidebar changes to:
Mailbox "OtherName" does not exist
When I dismiss the error, the mailbox name reverts to Mailboxname.
Another oddity, sometimes, I'm unable to delete existing mailbox. I right click on them, select Delete Mailbox, confirm the deletion when prompted, and the mailbox is still there.
Any suggestions for how I can address this?
I've tried rebuilding the mailboxes that can't be renamed, and I've run the vacuum command in Terminal, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.My guess is that Folder 1 was seen as a white folder Icon in the Sidebar, before and after subfolder 1 went missing. As a white folder, Mail could see the items apparently still contained within it. Recreating the subfolder somehow allowed the display of content from the Messages folder, that apparently survived the previous delete operation. We would have been able to go into the Finder and see this, I think, but I also think you are very lucky.

If you are trying to update your iPhone over-the-air rather than through iTunes, and you are having issues with installing it, then I'd like you to please follow the steps outlined below.
If you get a message that "an error occurred downloading iOS," try again later. If the issue persists, try updating your device in another network or use iTunes to update your device. Learn more about iOS updates.
Update does not complete
If you're installing the update and the progress bar appears to move slowly, be patient. The time an update takes depends on the size of the update and the number of files on the device.
When you're updating over the air, keep your device connected to a power source so that it doesn't run out of power. If your device does run out of power, connect it to a power source and turn on the device to let the update or restore complete.
If the update never completes and the progress bar hasn't moved for an extended time, try restarting your device. If you still see the issue after you restart, see what to do if your device appears frozen or won't start.

When I try to sync my iphone I get a message saying that it was unable to back up my iPhone as an error occurred. My iPhone needs a software update but it won't let me do that until my phone is backed up! I have authorised my computer and tried disconnecting my phone from the computer, but nothing is working. Help please?!
I was receiving the same message. I had to uncheck the box that allowed me to sync my phone to my computer (PC) via wi-fi. After that, I have not had any problems. I am speculating that this issue is probably related to the wi-fi problems people are experiencing with iOS 6.

Did you buy your phone unlocked from Apple or did you have the original carrier unlock it? Or did you have some third party unlock it for you? If the latter, and you are trying to set the phone up with a different carrier than the original, you're going to have problems as the update most likely reversed the unauthorized unlock.

I have a publishing site collection. (SP2010)
Whenever I activate one of my solutions, I get the error “PortalSiteMapProvider was unable to fetch current node, request URL: /_layouts/ManageFeatures.aspx, message: Specified method is not supported., stack trace:
at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPChange.get_InternalListId()” In the ULS log.
When debugging the feature activation, the error shows after all the code is done.
Anyone has a clue what the issue is?.

Identify your web apps' app pool account using inetmgr
Login to central site administration
Go to Application management > Policy for web application
Choose the web application where the inaccessible site collection exists
Add a full control policy for the app pool account
Possible cause
Derived from resolution :) this could be because portal site map provider uses elevated privileges within its code and when you use elevate privileges it is always the app pool account that is used internally (you may see it as system account on the ui)."
