Error occured in Ejb deployment to Oracle9iAS

Basically I have created one application in 11g jdeveloper with two projects called, model and view controller. I have created one VO called test_VO, based on one EO Test_EO and I have associated that VO to the Application Module Test_AM. I have created one deployment profile test1_Ejb through the "Business components deployment" option of application module. Finally I tried to deploy the model project onto standalone oc4j through test1_Ejb deployment profile. I am getting the deployment failed message.
Missing class: oracle.jbo.server.ejb.StatefulSessionBeanImpl
Dependent class: oracle.apps.model.server.ejb.beanmanaged.Test_AMServer
Loader: ModelEJB.root:0.0.0
Code-Source: /D:/oc4j/j2ee/home/applications/ModelEJB/ModelEJB.jar
Configuration: <ejb> in D:\oc4j\j2ee\home\applications\ModelEJB
The missing class is not available from any code-source or loader in the system.
I am using standalone 11g oc4j and remote oracle 11g jdeveloper for building the ADF applications. Please let me know the cause of this deployment exception.

Hi,
I would suggest here, create wsp and use the below script to deploy and activate.

    Any idea about it
I use the jdbc version in datasource <jdbc-1.x>
is there a need to replace it with <jdbc-2.0>
    Thank You
    Syed Saifuddin

Hibernate allows you to choose transaction manager. As Nikolay pointed out, in a JEE envirnment it's prefferable to use JTA transactions. All you need to do is to configure hibernate to use a JTA transaction manager. It is all written in the Hibernate documentations. See
    http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/reference/en/html_single/#configuration-j2ee
    and
    http://www.hibernate.org/42.html#A5 .
The relevant properties that need to be set in the configuration are:
    hibernate.transaction.factory_class=org.hibernate.transaction.JTATransactionFactory
    and
hibernate.transaction.manager_lookup_class=<Class that knows how to lookup>
You need to implement a class that knows how to lookup user transaction in SAP J2EE Egnine.
The class must extend org.hibernate.transaction.JNDITransactionManagerLookup and only override its abstract method getName (simply returning the lookup string). Then provide the fully qualified name as value of the property and make sure that Hibernate can load the class.
    That should work.

  • While deploying EJB, OutOfMemory error occurred

While deploying & re-deploying EJB many times(maybe over 100 times), in admin-server, OutOfMemory error occurred.
Actually 7~8 people deployed several EJBs remotely.
After I increased heap memory size to 1G of admin-server, interval was more longer, but anyway OutOfMemory error occurred. I should restart admin-server after that error.

    ----- Root Cause -----
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

Repeated changes applied to any instance eventually results in an out of memory error.
The Admin Server keeps a record of all changes performed to the system, which requires memory. This change record (but not the changes themselves) is discarded during a reconfiguration, thus releasing the memory for use.
Use the asadmin reconfig command periodically to discard old change records which was being kept in memory.

A point of clarification: Using JDK 1.5, it compiles and "tries" to start, but then gives this error : Unable to load ejb-class com.MyTestEJB see section 23.2 of the EJB 2.1 specificationjava.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: java.lang.NullPointerException
There are other EJB which are deploying fine.
I really can't tell why one is deploying but this one is not.
    Thanks

    Hi,
First you deploy accessgate application using ant script,At that time application deployment will fail But take the back up of Plan.xml, remove the application from weblogic domain. and deploy the application manually. and replace previous plan.xml and redeploy it will work.

    Thanks!

Hi shanu, thanks for your reply,
Yes I configured the JMS Objects in my AS before deploying the MDB.
    I set
    - a Queue: RFIDLocatorQueue
    - a connection Factory: RFIDLocatorConnectionFactory
    - and a Physical destination for my logical queue called: RFIDLocatorPhysicalQueue
The latter was linked to the RFIDLocatorQueue by putting RFIDLocatorPhysicalQueue in the name parameter of the RFIDLocatorQueue.
Is there maybe something else I forgot to configure ?
    thanks a lot

  • A error in ejb deployment

    i got a error in j2see deployment
i deploy a entity bean, but while the Deployment Progress ,i got a error:
java.rmi.ServerException:RemoteException occurred in server thread;nested exception is:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Error processing ejb jar: Compilation failed

I am having same problem. I have developed a cmp and
using cloudscape as my database. The application got
verified without errors. But while deploying i am
getting the error.i think thats due to----
either bean class is not implementing all the methods as in remote
    or
ur jar does not include a
compiled bean class /home/remote or other necessary classes
    is it so?

  • 8iR3; EJB deploy; "Unable to read class bits" error

    Hi,
I have a strange situation going on at the moment. Every time I wish to deploy an EJB to 8iR3, the JDeveloper Message View shows the following (after app specific messages):
    "Reading Deployment Descriptor...done
    Verifying Deployment Descriptor...done
    Gathering users...done
    Generating Comm Stubs...............................................done
    Compiling Stubs...done
    Generating Jar File...done
Loading EJB Jar file and Comm Stubs Jar file...
Unable to read class bits from library/sqlhelper/sjb/SQLHelperOperations.class
*** Errors occurred while deploying the EJB to 8i JVM ***
    *** Deployment completed ***
If I then just redeploy without changing a thing, it deploys fine and everything works.
I haven't seen a post on this forum like this, is there a configuration problem at my end?
    Cheers,
    Jono

I think it is due to the fact that I am writing a 'business interface' for my EJB, then including it in my deployment package.
This technique is recommended in O'Reilly's 'Enterprise Java Beans' 2nd Edition p344 to ensure the bean interface and the bean match their signature.
I don't get the 'class bits' error when I write EJB from the wizard, but when I add a business interface it happens first deploy, and is OK for the second one.
Hope this helps anyone else who is getting this behaviour, I guess we'll have to see what happens in OC4J/Orion.

    could be related to ChannelOperationTimeout

Also, don't forget to restart Visual Studio
Goto the following regustry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\SharePointTools
Add the following as a DWORD (wont be there by default)
    ChannelOperationTimeout
REG_DWORD that specifies the time, in seconds, that Visual Studio waits for a SharePoint command to execute. If the command does not execute in time, a SharePointConnectionException is thrown.
    The default is 120 seconds.

Increase the timeout that Visual Studio waits for SharePoint to deploy a feature:
    Create: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\SharePointTools] ChannelOperationTimeout DWORD
The value is a timeout in seconds. The default is 120 (2 minutes).
