I've created my Add-On setup package.Doing DI API (external application).
I try to run it, but there's and error at the end of the installation:
Error:

Tools:
SAP business one 2004A
SDK Development version.
Visual Basic .NET 2003.

Hi Bruce,
The machine you are trying to install on should already have the DI API installed and registered, so you don't need to register or install the DI API during your installation program.

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever version of Firefox for Win98 / SE / ME.
You can get it from here, but you are better off using K-Meleon (derived from Firefox) or Opera instead an old version of Firefox:

You can try KernelEx to get Firefox 3+ to work, but it would be very slow with an old PC of less than 750Mhz. 3.5 and later supposedly doesn't work.

My project has 10 eclipse plugins, and each plugin is compiled by invoking following ant target

Since each of first 9 plugins contains less than 500 java source files, we always set "param.fork" to false when invoking this ant target.
For the 10th plugin, it has about 1000 source files. If we set "param.fork" to false, we will get the error "Error running javac.exe compiler". So we have to set "param.fork" to true when compiling it. This week, this plugin contains about 1250 files and we get the same error again when compiling it. I tried to increase the "memoryMaximumSize" to "768", but still couldn't get through it.
BTW, There are about 150 jar files in our classpath for compiling plugins. Do many jar files cause this problem?

I encountered a very similar error and I was able to resolve it by removing the following parameters from the javac task:
fork="${param.fork}"
memoryInitialSize="256m"
memoryMaximumSize="512m"My values were not the same as yours, before I removed them, the values were set to:
fork="true"
memoryInitialSize="256m"
memoryMaximumSize="256m" Not sure why this fixed my problem but it did. I was using Ant 1.7 and Java 1.6_07 hope this helps.

GeoKettle: Error running javac.exe compiler

most likely the javac executable is not on the system path. Try typing 'javac -version' in a command prompt and see what response you get.
If it is something like 'javac is not a recognized...', locate where the JDK is installed and add its bin subdirectory to the PATH system variable. Restart any command prompt and type javac again.
You DID have a JDK installed, didn't you?

Running setup.exe for Exchange 2013 does nothing

Hi All,
Unable to find this issue anywhere else, please excuse if it's a duplicate of another issue.
Basically, I have a new 2008 R2 server setup, added it to a domain, and want to install Exchange 2013 on this new server. There are no Exchange servers anywhere on the domain.
The server is fully up to date, including .Net 4, and looking for updates results in zero new updates found.
When I run setup.exe for Exchange 2013, a command prompt appears for less than a second, then closes, then nothing else happens.
Did a fresh reboot before trying to install, and after waiting about 20 minutes to see if anything happened after the vanishing command prompt, rebooted again, tried again, same result.
There is nothing called Exchange anywhere on the server that I can find, no setup logs or anything, and I am totally stumped.

Hello,
Exchange 2013 need to be installed on windows server 2008 R2 SP1. If you use windows server 2008 R2 SP1, I sugegst you check if there is any exchange server via ADSIEDIT.

Error while running setup.exe for oracle installation on windows 2003

Hi,
I am trying to install oracle 9.2.0.1 on my windows 2003 machine and when i click on setup.exe nothing happens. when i tried to run it thru command prompt again nothing happens when i check in computer management => event views it throws following error.
The application, C:\DOCUME~1\barb\Local Settings\Temp\1\OraInstall2006-08-11_05-19-46AM\jre\bin\javaw.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 08/11/2006 @ 05:19:56.356 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 6D4CF9A0 (jvm!JVM_TraceMethodCalls)
can anybody suggest me what could be the problem or i will have to install jvm first and then try installing oracle?

Run Setup.exe and Says there is an Error: Help!

I have just downloaded the Photoshop CS4 trial for windows and ran the file and it extracted some files. Now I run the Setup.exe and after a few seconds of the "Checking System Profile" thing I get an error saying ask Adobe support and just a quit button. Any ideas why? Thanks. I f you need any info let me know.

While I think that Mylenium and Dec9 have solved your problem with installation, here is a CHECKLIST on installing most Adobe programs, that might also help.

Sql server 2014 developer edition error on setup.exe

i downloaded the file from the MS Australia store > mount the disc image file > run the setup.exe and get above 2 errors. searching through forums i couldnt resolve as their were similar but not the exact problem. how to resolve this?

The message heading says "bad image" so I would suspect that image which you have is not complete.

Run Setup.exe. after creating a package.. Install progress bar goes 0-100 then back 100-0 and nothing gets installed?

As stated I have made a package for windows running x64 8.1. Package creates successfully but when running either the .msi or the setup.exe it goes to install then rolls back and nothing happens.. no error message.

TS3212 When I try to update my Itunes I get an error itunes setup exe not a valid Win 32 application. I have a new phone and I cannot register or sync until I upgrade Itunes. Any suggestions.

I cannot get my Itunes updated to the 10. that is required for my new Iphone. The error is itunes setup exe not a valid Win32 application.

Cannot run setup.exe Ora 9i on Windows XP pro

Hi,
I have a problem installing Oracle .
I have windows XP Pro on my machine.
I downloaded ora 9i from technet site to my hard drive.
I have unzipped to
c:/disk1
c:/disk2
c:/disk3
Try to double click on setup.exe, I see the hour glass for a second,but nothing happens.
I searched this site for similar problem but nothing helped me to solve my problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Running setup.exe for v10.1.3.1-to-v10.1.3.4 before or after DB-sql-update?

When I want to update an v10.1.3.1 SoaSuite to v10.1.3.4 I have to do 2 main things:
a) updating the SoaSuite installation itself and
b) updating the Oracle-DB-DB tables
What do I have to do at first:
runing setup.exe (=a) or applying table updates (=b)?
Or is this equal?

is the sql script there for updating your own tables or tables of the soa suite repository (esb/bpel/etc) ?
if it's the first, then those 2 won't have much to do with each other.
if it's the second then the db scripts are post-installation steps, so you first need to apply the patch and after that execute the sql scripts

MS VC++ runtime error - running nimxs.exe suring computer boot

Somehow my labtop starts to fail to run MAX (nimxs.exe) during start up. Message is "Micrsoft Visual C++ runtime error. This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more info". Any idea? Thanks in advance.

So you've tried reinstalling your different LabVIEW versions, but have you done the same with the DAQ device drivers? To do this, just go to Start >> Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs and find National Instruments. Click 'Change', and then find the version of the daq driver that you have (depending on the driver version, it should be something like NI-DAQmx, NI-DAQ, or Traditional NI-DAQ). That should completely uninstall the driver. You can then reinstall the driver from a disk, or if you prefer, download the driver you need from our website by going to www.ni.com and clicking on the 'Drivers and Updates' link on the left side. In the Search field, type in the following info:
Product Line: Multifunction DAQ
Software: 'NI-DAQmx' OR 'Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy)' (depending on which you need)
Software Version: <your version>
Operating System: <your OS>
You can also download the latest version of the driver, if you know your card is supported. If you tell me what DAQ card you have and what version of the DAQ driver you are using (DAQmx or Traditional DAQ), I can tell you which is the latest you can use.

Unable to run setup.exe after downloading oracle9i Personal edition

So that we may better diagnose DOWNLOAD problems, please provide the following information.
- Server name
- Filename
- Date/Time
- Browser + Version
IE 5.0
- O/S + Version
W2K Professional /SP 2
- Error Msg
None

Today I want to run the programm and my computer says: "This Acction is only valid for installed productions." (translated from german). I tried to download it again (it works) but then asked for the file iTunes.exe. I check the link to the file but he doesn' take. Uninstalling is also not possible!

Error running javaws.exe "The directory name is invalid"

I am attempting to run a VPN client for Sabre. Once I installed their VPN client (installing JRE 1.5 + their custom icon) I am unable to successfully launch the VPN using the desktop icon as a power user in an active directory network environment, however as an admin it works fine.
C:\Program Files\java\jre1.5.0_11\bin\javaws.exe "The Directory name is Invalid" <----Error message I get when I launch VPN.
This is what the target location says - "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_11\bin\javaws.exe" http://sabrevpn.sabre.com/vpnclient/sslvpn-tn.jnlp
Now I have enabled access for our limited users by adding their group with modify access to the c:\program files\java folder and still I get this error. Any idea what this could be?!

Can you access other websites?
Did you use TMG 2010 and install SP1 on it? Did you configure HTTPS inspection?
If yes, it may because TMG 2010 SP1 sends an empty client certificate to the web server during the initial Secure Sockets Layer handshake and
you can refer to the KB below:

In addition, did you mean that the issue went away after you start Windows Firewall service? In general, Windows Firewall must be enabled on the computer where TMG operates. I am not sure if it is due to the Windows Firewall is not working.
You can also check if Windows Firewall is enabled when you receive that error.
