Error running OA page (Jdev 9.0.3.5)

I created a sample OA Componenets - page (using JDEV 9.0.3.5). When I try to run this page I am getting following error message. But, the short application name that in the web.xml (set by editing the project settings - Runtime connections) is a different and valid one. Did anyone faced similar issue? Where is the framework picking "webui" as the short application name from?
There are no issues while building the page. This error comes while running the page.
Exception Details.

Check the Project Settings -> Oracle Applications -> Runtime Connections
for the user name/password,application short name and responsibility key.

ERROR: Running OA page using Jdeveloper.

Hi,
We have extened one ABCVO.xml object related one page. Now i want to run the page from jdeveloper i am getting an error saying XXABCVO.xml of type defination is not found .
Is there any extra setup i have to do reflect the extended changes to be apper in the page when i am running page using Jdeveloper. Please help me.

Hi sreenu,
Whenever you are extending a seeded VO, you need to create the substitution for the old VO by clicking on the .jpx file.
Then import the jpx file using the jpximport command from command prompt.
To run the page which contains the customizations, you need to add -Djbo=ProjectName in the runner option of your project settings. Then you will be able to run the page from your local Jdeveloper.

I am a newbie trying to run jsp through jdev.It comes up with a error saying Error: /Documents and Settings/al/Desktop/jdev1012/jdev/booking/ViewController/public_html/ not contained in /Documents and Settings/al/Desktop/jdev1012/jdev/Booking/ViewController/public_html/index.jsp.

What is the profile option fnd_debuging_level 's value set to.

Error Running OAF Page..

Hi,
I am trying to run sample tutorial OAF page in R12 (OAF Version 10.1.3) and I am getting the following error. I have already created a sample OAF page couple of weeks before with same machine and same version of JDEV and got migrated successfully. Not sure all of a sudden why this error is cropping up again. I have tried all possibilities mentioned in the forum and finally after giving up posting the same to get some help from experts. I would appreciate if anybody can help out with their expertise. I am just trying to run tutorial project to test if connection is fine...
Please try the following:
1) Increase the timeout limit by setting the JRAD.RUNREG_TIMEOUT parameter in the ide.properties file located in the system directory
2) Check the Host Name in the Preferences, under Embedded OC4J
3) See the Log window for any error messages.
I have ensured shutting down OC4j server, tried deleting system directory and reopen jdev again but still JDeveloper is throwing me the above error.

I've added the connection to the web.xml, but still get the same error.
When I go to embedded OC4J preferences and change the JNDI-names of the datasources (global and current-workspace) to the same name (this was default), i get this error message:

Looks lik eyou have not specified the correct shared libraries in your server.xml. Also, ensure that you have added the libraries in the right order in your BPEL Project in JDev.

Error upon running a page in Jdev 10g on a Windows 7 OS

Though I tried to do the setup in a laptop with a Windows 7 and IE8 browser also but it works fine. The page that I am trying to run in my new PC was properly displayed in the laptop.
Don't know what to check on the setup of the OS and IE in my new PC and the laptop with the same OS and IE versions?

I manage to fix this.
Just a thought, I changed the regional settings to English US
Not sure why, but the date/time appear differs with my date/time in my PC

Hi All,
I am using 10.1.3.3.0.3 Jdev.
I am trying to run a page using Jdev but I am getting below error. I can run
the tutorial page successfully but when I try to run other page then it gives me
error. I am trying to run below page-

You should be getting the same error while using the system directly.
The error indicates a validation failure. You should not see this when the profiles below are set to "NONE". It must be "ERROR" in your instance.

The recommendation is to have the value set to "ERROR". So in you case you will have to set the profile values to "LOG" and get details of the error to fix.

Hi ,
1) Try deleting all the class files and try to run.
2) If you get another instance dbc file try running the file against the database.
3) Create a connection to the database from Jdev and Test it, it is working or not,
Once it get success message, then try to run the page.
4) Or instead of running the HelloWorld, create your own PG.xml and add a AM and CO and try to run the file.
