I keep getting the following error every time I try to start my WebLogic 64bit domain:

Hi,
I want to create a weblogic domain in silent mode. When I execute the command ./config.sh -mode=silent -silent_xml=/home/oracle/silent.xml, I am getting the error given below.

What is the version of wls you are using ?
There is no silent mode of domain configuration. There is silent mode of wls installation.

Error Starting OIM Weblogic

I am not able to start OIM Weblogic.Getting following error in the log

JRF conflict error on extending weblogic domain dev_bpm_spaces

I am using http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/learnmore/vmsoa-172279.html pre-built oracle virtual box vm as configured as dev_bpm_spaces domain. It has soa,bpm, spaces and other components needed for spaces. It does not have portlet server so I am trying to add it by extending weblogic domain by running config wizard. On selecting portlet producers and going forward, it gives conflict error on oracle jrf. As per admin/install guide of webcenter portal install, if there are any conflict error go for keep existing components.
If I select keep options and move next, I get template error. I tried replace components too in that scenario also I get same domain template error. I tried to set config log file on running config wizard, it gave me some additional clues that duplicate application jar for ucm from ECM folder. I can give more details but if any of you guys have tried this and able to make it work let me know.
By the way if I configure re-built vm as dev_spaces domain means just set for webcenter spaces but no soa/bpm and then run config wizard to add portlet server as additional component then it did not give any error and run smoothly. I was able to run portlet server as managed server in spaces domain.
I would like to have all of these components under one vm so trying soa/bpm vm configured as dev_bpm_sapces domain to just add portlet server.

Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space error while creat weblogic domain

Hi,
OBIEE 11g installing in Linux server now. domain creation is in progress for about an hour and in log I can see below error.
Creating a new AdminServer Object ...
AdminServer port is 7001
Starting the domain ...
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
domain creation is still running and looks like it is struck to start domain no idea how to solve the issue. waiting to see whether domain creation successful.
I was searching on web and found below solution but no idea how to do it in Linux server. Please provide detail instructions to do it.

Solution: Increase the max permgen space -XX:MaxPermSize=256m
There can be a leak in the permgen objects. If tuning parameters do not resolve the issue, we need to use the memory leak detector tools and find out which instances in the permgen space are not getting cleared.

Hi,
The script that configures the domain $DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh... it should detect you are using JDK from Sun (JAVA_VENDOR="Sun") and add -XX:MaxPermSize=512m automatically...
Simple solution, use JRockit... This problem only occurs with Sun JDK...
Alternatively, add manually -XX:MaxPermSize=512m to the last JAVA_PROPERTIES in setDomainEnv.sh then you will be sure it is there...

Simple question - Error in creating Weblogic Domain 8.1

I am new to weblogic. I am trying to create a domain for my development. I am following the the steps from

$ setWLSEnv.sh

$ java weblogic.Server

So i tried this below
$ startWLS.sh

I fixed the first issue . Creating the Develpment domain using the "Configuration Wizard". Now when i do "startWebLogic.sh"

Cannot start default weblogic domain

I installed standalone weblogic and jdeveloper about 2 weeks ago. Their weblogic home is in D:\weblogic1033\Middleware.
I removed them and reinstall jdeveloper 11.1.1.3. Current weblogic home is D:\Jdev11113\Middleware.
Current JAVA_HOME=D:\Jdev11113\Middleware\jdk160_18
In command line: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.3.37.56.60\DefaultDomain\bin
I run startWeblogic.cmd.
However, it shows error:

Error starting WL - weblogic.xml.dom.ChildCountException: missing child home in ejb-ref

hi,
i get this following error when i start the WL 7.0. The web application fails
to start but the ejbs are started properly. This is an example from the Monson
Haefel book, on the CMP: Entity bean relationships.

For a local entity bean, i was using <ejb-ref> instead of <local-ejb-ref>
Once i changed that, it worlked.

You might want to verify your config.xml. You can also look at AdminServer.log in <your installation_dir>\user_projects\domains\<domain_name>\servers\AdminServer\logs to see if there is any error that is being logged.

Help CFGFWK-60814 error when creating weblogic domain(Config.cmd)

Hi,
I've installed soa suite 11gR2 without problem on windows 7 Turkish platform and Oracle XE DB. But, when I create domain based (run config.cmd) on templates it gives CFGFWK-60814 error; it says template can't be applied because it can't find dependencies although required files are already in correct directories.
I found similar error on google, but I couldnt find solution.

There is no silent mode of domain configuration. There is silent mode of wls installation.

How can I successfully create and start a new domain?

I have the same problem as described by Gauri. I created a new directory
under the config directory and copied the mydomain directory files to it. I can
run the startWebLogic script sucessfully as long as I don't change the domain or
server name. If I change the domain or server name, I also change them in the
config.xml. When I change these fields I get exactly the same errors/exceptions
as Gauri. Exactly how do you copy the files?

Error while starting Integrated Weblogic Server - Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4

I installed Jdevloper 11.1.1.4, and getting the below error while starting Integrated Weblogic Server:

Unable to start the Weblogic 8.1 SP4 after updating the license

I am not able to start the Weblogic domain after updating the license using java -Xmx command. Actually i have three license files. 1)license.bea 2)license_isv.bea 3) license_scale_limited.bea. The file license_isv.bea is containing unlimited units. Actually we want 100 concurrent users to connect to weblogic. For that i updated the license. After updating the license i am getting the following error.

Initially i thought that it will be the CLASSPATH variable problem that is defined in startWeblogic.sh script. But we have around 8 domains. I am not able to start any of these domains. Even i tried to create a new domain also. Still i am getting the same error. Can anyone help me in this.

No. I have tried all the possibilities, but it is still not working.
I am the only user for my PC and, i have even tried runnig the server in admin mode as you suggested. rightclick on startWebLogic.cmd and run as administrator
If the procedure is wrong, please suggest another way.
I have another problem in addition to this. The model project is not being saved to the harddrive. If i create stuff in the model project it only lasts till i close the JDev, once i open it again, everything is lost.

Hi,
This is your issue.
Starting WLS with line:
C:\PROGRA~1\Java\JDK16~1.0_2\bin\java -client
it is looking for client folder under your JDK but mostly it will have server folder.
remove -client and provide -server in your startup script like setDomainEnv.cmd file and restart the server again.
