Error when trying to enable usage rights

Hi there!
I have created a PDF form using Live Cycle via Acrobat Pro 8.0.0. This is to let colleagues and customers with only the Reader installed fill out the form and email.
Everything works like a charm until I'm returning from Live Cycle to Acrobat Pro to enable the usage rights for Reader users. It just says "Uknown error" and won't be saved.
I've made many forms like this before and it has always worked utntil know. I don't however remember if I've ever succeeded doing it on my VISTA or on another computer. Can these problems have anything to do with VISTA or is it the Acrobat Pro 8.0.0 that generates this problem?

I'm facing a problem when trying enable query rewrite on the cube materilized view, see below
Invalid Metadata Objects:
Invalid Object "ACCOUNTING.APP_CUBE": "XOQ-01957: The cube has REWRITE MVs and also contains either a ragged or skip-level hierarchy. The hierarchy is "ACCOUNTING.MACHINE.MACHINES"."
As far as I can tell the dimension should not have ragged or skip-level hierarchy as I understand it (having just read up on them now). The dimension only has two levels ALL_MACHINES and MACHINE. The mapping points to a table that has just 1 column the machine_key which has 8 just rows. This joins with a fact table that has just these 8 distinct values in it (and no NULLS).
Am I missing something obvious?

Each 11g hierarchy has two properties that can be seen in the XML template for the dimension.
IsSkipLevel
IsRagged
For example
<LevelHierarchy
Name = "MACHINES"
IsSkipLevel = "True"
IsRagged = "True">
If you do not see them, then the default is False.
You should think of these properties as 'constraints' in the RDBMS sense. For example, if you say
IsSkipLevel = "False"
then the system will interpret this as a constraint that says that the hierarchy is not skip level -- i.e. all parents are always exactly one level above their children. This constraint is validated during dimension load (or, more precisely, dimension COMPILE). If you say it is not skip level and the server finds that it is skip level, then you will get an XOQ-01713 error during the load. If, on the other hand, you say
IsSkipLevel = "True"
then the system will interpret this as no constraint, so it will not check during load. Note that this does not say that there are skip levels in the hierarchy, it just says that the server will not check for skip levels. It is similar to an IS NOT NULL constraint on a column -- If the constraint is there then you can be sure that there are no NULLs; if it is not there, then there may or may not be NULLs.
The double negative implied in the XML property name is unfortunate -- a better name would have been something like "EnableNoSkipLevelConstraint = True", but the choice was made and backwards compatibility requirements makes it hard to change now.
Your specific error, XOQ-01957, is saying that the MACHINE hierarchy of the MACHINES dimension is marked as IsSkipLevel = "True" or IsRagged = "True". (It is probably both.) In other words the skip level and ragged constraints are not enabled on the hierarchy. To fix this you should flip the two properties to False in the XML and recreate the dimensions. Unfortunately you cannot change the properties directly in AWM 11.1 since AWM tries to manage the properties automatically for you. But there are times, like, this, when things go wrong.

Site to Azure replication - always get errors when trying to enable protection for a virtual machine

I just setup my Azure account with Storage and Azure Site Recovery.
All the servers are registered and I can see my host server configurations in Azure.
But as soon as I can try to Enable Protection, after about 10 minutes I always get this error
Unable to complete the request. Operation on the xxx.xxx.local server timed out.
Try the operation again. (Provider error code: 2924)
(But the way the xxx.xxx.local server is the name of the underlying Hyper-V host running SCVMM and my test machine to be protected. Is that the right machine Azure should be communicating with?)
This happens if I initiate the protection from Azure or from SCVMM.
The server I want to enable protection for is quite small and there appears to be no problem with my Internet connection.
Prerequisites check
Identifying replication target work okay
And after the failure, Updating Provider states also completes okay
Would folks have an idea where else I could be looking?

Hi, can you please check if network proxy settings configured in the Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent are correct. This agent running on the Hyper-V host needs to be able to reach Azure. (You can find more details about this here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/virtualization/archive/2014/07/07/azure-site-recovery-authenticated-proxy-server.aspx)
If that is correct, please look at event logs at “Applications and Services Logs->MicrosoftAzureRecoveryServices->Replication” and
traces at a location like C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp.

IPv6: Error when trying to enable on WiSM

I am unable to enable IPv6 support on a wlan as I keep getting this error message:
"Cannot enable IPv6-bridging when DHCP Address Assignment is enabled for WLAN"
However, to the best of my knowledge, there is no DHCP requirement mandated on the wlan.
Has anyone else experienced this and found either an explanation or a work around?
I am running 7.0.116.0 on a WiSM.

Getting error when trying to enable ssl over pop3

We are using SunOne Messaging Server v5.2 on Solaris 9
We followed the below steps:
1. Create a trust database password for "Internal (Software) Token"
2. Obtain a certificate
3. Install the certificate along with CA certificate.
4. The certificate is installed with the name "Server_Cert" and is shown as trusted in the "Certificate Management"
5. configured ssl over pop3 using configutil
6. stop and start the services.
The Configutil changes made are as below:
nsserversecurity = on
encryption.rsa.nssslactivation = on
encryption.rsa.nssslpersonalityssl = Server_Cert
encryption.rsa.nsssltoken = "Internal (Software)"
service.pop.enablesslport = yes
service.pop.sslport = 995
We saved the below in the sslpassword.conf:
Internal (Software) Token:mypassword
After restarting the services, pop3 over ssl is not working.We also checked "netstat -an -P tcp | grep 995" and it shows nothing.
The logs are showing the below error:
"[22/Apr/2006:15:46:58 -0300] mail popd[26352]: General Error: SSL initialization error: Didn't find certificate Server_Cert (-8157)"
Please advice a solution for the same. I am unable to figure out the problem.

You're being asked to create a [email protected] address and you're entering an address at your domain. The 'something' must be less than 21 characters and can only be followed by '@icloud.com'.

Help! Getting "Connection error Check connection" when trying to enable HP Web Services on M1536DNF

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to enable HP Web Services on HP LaserJet Pro M1536DNF model? Everything works fine and shows it's connected to the network but I cannot enable HP Web Services. It says "Connection error Check connection" I've tried restarting everything; network, printer, computer. I've also updated firmware to latest version as well.

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you are getting an unable to connect message when trying to enable the web services for your Laserjet CP1025nw printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. The instructions can be found in the document Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. There is a Windows section and a Mac section. In the Windows section you will find the instructions in the sub-section titled “Solution three: Assign the printer a static IP address”. For Mac the applicable sub-section is titled “Solution two: Assign the printer a static IP address”. When entering the information for the Manual Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.8.8 and for the Alternate Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.4.4. These are Google’s DNS servers.
After setting the manual IP address and manual DNS servers, you should have no problems enabling the web services.

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

Why does the tab order I set change when I enable usage rights?

I am using Adobe Pro 9.1.2 - set the tab order manually in a 4 page document - test everything - works great. Then, I enable usage rights, go back into the document to test, and the tabbing is out of order again. I have done this multiple times and what should have been a simple task is now taking hours to complete. Help!!! This didn't happen until I upgraded to this version.

Setting a different style to one, some, or all cells does not make that different style the 'default.' Here's an example of the effects of three different sets of actions. All cells in the table had been set to display text as Jazz LET, 12 pt. The original content of B3, C3, and D3 was the same as is shown in C4. For each of the cells in row 3, the procedure described below was carried out, then the text shown was typed into the cell.
When you Select a cell, then "Cut" the cell, the cut includes the text AND any style that has been set for that cell, and the cell reverts to the default style. See cell B3 in the example.
If you Select the cell, Copy, then press delete, the text (and style) are copied, the content (text), but not the style, is deleted. See C3.
If you click on the cell to select it, click again to place the insertion point in the cell (to edit the text), then Select the text and press delete (or Cut), then the text is removed from the cell, but the style remains. See D3.

Please try the following.
1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
3. Select the networking tab at the top.
4. Left hand side select IPv4 under wireless.
5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.

Unspecified error when trying to access Control Panel

I am currently setting up Remote Desktop Services on Server 2012 and I have enabled the policy
"Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings".
When a user clicks on the Control Panel icon, or anything else that points to Control Panel (Screen Resolution, Personalize) they get the normal error of
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrcitions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" which is fine and is expected, but they then get the error,
"Unspecified error".
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you enabled the option to display "Personalization" in Group Policy?
This is because "Personalization" option is linked to Control Panel, so if you prohibit access to control panel, and right click on the desktop select "Personalize", it results in the "Unspecified Error".

413 error when trying to download video

I and some of my customers are seeing 413 errors when trying to download on-demand videos. The Googling I did before posting here all say to make changes to the Blackberry Enterprise Server to fix the problem, but the customers experiencing the problem are personal users, not corporate.
Is this something I need to take up with the cellular carrier the Blackberrys were bought from, or there something I can do on the phone itself to resolve this issue?

HTTP error 413 request entity too large
This indicates that the web page is too large to be accessed.
The maximum data amount permitted per connection setting in the BlackBerry® Mobile Data System (BlackBerry MDS) Connection Service is set to a lower allowable kilobyte level than required by the web page requested by the BlackBerry smartphone user.
Resolution:
Change the value of the maximum data amount permitted per connection setting by completing the following steps:
BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1
Open BlackBerry Manager.
On the left pane, click MDS-CS service.
On the right pane, click Edit Properties.
In the General section, click Flow Control.
Change the Maximum KB/Connection field from the default setting of 256Kb to 1024kb.
Restart the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service to enable the settings to take effect.

Open the BlackBerry Administration web site.
On the left pane, under BlackBerry Solution topology, expand the BlackBerry Domain menu.

Error when trying to access the RBAC User editor and Message tracking

I am getting an error when trying to access the RBAC User editor and Message tracking on the Web Mgmt interface. I verified that the admin account trying to access is in the Organization Management group and has the correct Role Assignment Policy applied.
I searched through this thread below and saw that matching the msExchRoleLink and msExchUserLink attributes fixed the issue.

I then had a look at the IIS permissions for ecp and owa. The account did not have permissions so I added them there but still got the same error. I’ve also tried all of the above with a newly-created account but still got the same issue.
Any ideas as to what the above event log is specifically referring to?

From your description, I would like to clarify the following thing:
If you want to search message tracking logs, the account you use should be a member of the role groups below:
Organization Management role group, Records Management role group, Recipient Management role group.
