Hello this is a pice of my code in my shell script code (bsh)
My file name its: ord.extractor_porven2.sh

And returns error : ord.extractor_porven2.sh[82]: whenever: not found (line where is whenever error ....... )
Does anybody please why returns this error?

Does anybody please why returns this error?error above is from OS command line interpreter & indicates that on line 82 it does not recognize "whatever" as being valid at OS level

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Ever since I downloaded FF's v6, everytime I go to YouTube and open a video, I get an error message that says: "[Java Script Application] Error: Div is null" How do I fix this problem?

If I go to YouTube, no matter what video I click on to watch, the error message "[Java Script Application] Error: Div is null" pops up. It started happening right after I updated to FF v6. I also have installed the latest version of Java. I submitted this question a few weeks ago, but never received a reply.

Error with dbms_scheduler and shell script execution

Hi,guys.
I have an issue with a dbms_scheduler and a shell script execution. So, the shell script as it self works fine, when i'm executing ./test.sh all process is running, but when i'm executing the script from dbms_scheduler it just simply doesn't work. Actually it works, but some of executable information in sh doesn't work, seems it just jump over of the part of the script. Sendmail part is running, maybe there is problem with rman script as it self?

There is no error, i just receive all the time e-mail, seems it jumps over rman. I tried almost everything and still couldn't get result as i want. And, if i'm running script from command line - it works. Rman calls, and starts to recover archivelogs.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

EA21 feature "Whenever SQL Error Stop Executing Script User Preference"

Has anyone come across the feature "Whenever SQL Error Stop Executing Script User Preference" in the new 2.1 release. Doesn't seem to be among the items on the new feature list. This has always been a stumbling block for us in terms of adoption.
The OTN feature request says scheduled for 2.1.

This is usually caused by an extension that is using a name for a variable or function that has become a reserved variable name and thus can't be used anymore.<br />
You will have to check if there is an update is available for your Firefox 29.0a2 Aurora version.
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)

Services, shell scripts and errors

Unix question here:
I am playing around with the new services feature of SL. Great stuff. Generally I am writing little one line scripts to do minor operations (like touch, for example). However, when there is an error in the script, the service craps out with an error dialog. I'd like to ignore the error & continue on. I've tried redirecting stderr to /dev/null, but it doesn't seem to work. Here is an example of a script that will fail the second time it is run over a set of files:

Does anyone know of a way to get the service system to ignore any errors that the script may encounter?

Unusual Error in Calc Script :(

I am facing Rather Unusal Error.
Whenever i create any calc script and i verify it its throwing error "there are errors in checking Script Please see Message panel for Error" even if in my script i give
"Jan"=10;
After this i save the Script and run it via Smart-view its executing perfectly and giving Desired Output.
Can any guru shed some light on this Error.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. How to trap sql errors in a script

Hi,
I have a SQL script where I need to call 5 other SQL scripts. Every of those 5 scripts contain the following code for trapping an sql error:
WHENEVER SQLERROR EXIT sql.sqlcode
whenever oserror exit os.oscode
SET SERVEROUTPUT ON
In the first script that calls the others I put the same code at the begining.
Is it enough for the first script to trap the errors from the others and to show them at runtime?

Yes but test it as we do not necessarily know what you want to script to do when an error occurs.

Error running ssodatax script for partner applications

I am running the ssodatax script after creating a partner
application using the user interface in the portal. I get the following
error after the script starts running:
SP2-0310: unable to open file "sso/ssoseedp.sql"

It appears that ssodatax in your environment is unable to find the script ssoseedp.sql. This script should be available in plsql/sso directory under the ORACLE_HOME. Please find the script ssodatax and look for the sso subdirectory within the directory that contains ssodatax. If you find ssoseedp.sql in sso, then you can try running ssodatax from the directory that contains it.

Somehow my "IPhoto" icon now says "Preview". When I click on "Preview" nothing opens up except the bar says Preview. When I click on the Preview on the bar, a box opens up with different items, except when I click on any of them, there is nothing there. The only thing that work is the "quit preview". However, it is still there where my IPhoto icon should be. I can't get into my IPhoto. How do I get rid of this "Preview" and how did it end up taking over the IPhoto icon???
If you go to your Applications folder and double click on iPhoto what happen?
