    catch(Exception e)
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("Exception "+e,true);
    In the output i am getting an eror Exception com.sap.tc.webdynpro.modelimpl.dynamicrfc.WDDynamicRFCExecuteException.
    Can anybody explain the error.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Hi Rajesh
    Kindly check ur BAPI once from Backend, i hope there is no other mandatory field required apart from Usrid.
    I hope BAPI doesnot have any mandatory Structure in it. in case it has , u have to pass that also..
    Try printing this context also ..wdContext.currentContextElement().getEmpnoa().. i hope it is not returning a null.
    wdContext.nodeZfm_Input().nodeOutput().invalidate();   // Add this line after execute statement

    The internal table(ITAB) which i am using has a field X  of length 20 and the Internal table(RFCITAB) field Y found the RFC is of length 10. Here i am creating another 3rd internal table(ITAB1) with field Z of length 10 and i am moving the content of field X from ITAB to ITAB1 and i am passing Z value of ITAB1 to the RFC.
    While executing it i am getting the error 'Interface data error'.
    please let me know why this error is getting populated.
    Regards,
    Sumi

    Hi,
      I have a field lenght of 20 digits in BKPF-AWKEY and it has value of only 10 digits.
      I am moving this 10 digits to a new field in a new internal table and i am passing this value to the RFC.

  • Error while calling up RFC

    Hi GuRuS,
               I am working on BI 7.0. When I open the BPS workbench using Transaction bps0 and select the planning area 4TPM9000, and click on either "Variables" tab or "Master Data" tab or when I click on "Adhoc Package", I get this error " You have selected a function, to execute this the system must set up an RFC connection to another SAP System. However, setting up this connection was not successful. The following internal error message was generated: Error while calling up RFC. "
    FYI I have done RFC connections between my CRM 2007 system and BI 7.0 system using Tr.SM59 and checked the connections from both the ends and it is working fine. So, pls show me the way out.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Pradeep,
    this looks like if the server is not reachable. Have you checked if both server are able to communicate? Maybe firewall rules block the request.

    This is likely being caused by a problem that we've seen a number of times. You'll have namespace issues and problems with NULLs if your JDev is 10.1.3.1 and SOA is 10.1.3.3 (or vice-versa). You MUST synchronize JDev 10.1.3.3 (or higher) with SOA 10.1.3.3 (or higher). It doesn't matter if you mix 10.1.3.3 and 10.1.3.4. You just need to get away from 10.1.3.1.

  • Getting error while calling AME api from the page

    Hi,
    I am calling ame api ame_api2.getallapprovers7 from our custom page.I have written following code-
    public void getapprovers(String transactionid)
    String OutError = "";
    ArrayList al = new ArrayList();
    OADBTransaction trans = getOADBTransaction();
    String insStmnt = "BEGIN " +
    "ame_api2.getAllApprovers7(applicationIdIn => :1,transactionTypeIn =>:2,transactionIdIn =>:3,"+
    "l_processYN =>:4,approversOut =>:5); " +
    "END;";
    OracleCallableStatement stmt = (OracleCallableStatement)trans.createCallableStatement(insStmnt, 1);
    try
    stmt.setString(1, "800");
    stmt.setString(2, "XXXXCWKAPP");
    stmt.setString(3, transactionid);
    stmt.registerOutParameter(4, OracleTypes.VARCHAR);
    stmt.registerOutParameter(5, OracleTypes.ARRAY,"XXXX_APPROVER_TABLE");
    stmt.execute();
    // OAExceptionUtils.checkErrors as per PLSQL API standards
    OAExceptionUtils.checkErrors(trans);
    ARRAY arrayError = stmt.getARRAY(5);
    Datum[] arr = arrayError.getOracleArray();
    for (int i = 0; i < arr.length; i++)
    oracle.sql.STRUCT os = (oracle.sql.STRUCT)arr;
    Object[] a = os.getAttributes();
    System.out.println("Column:" + a[0] + " Value:" + a[1]);
    //OutError = (String)a[1];
    //al.add(new OAException(OutError, OAException.ERROR));
    stmt.close();
    catch(SQLException sqle){
    try { stmt.close(); }
    catch (Exception e) {;}
    throw OAException.wrapperException(sqle);
    if (OutError != null)
    // OAException.raiseBundledOAException(al);
    4 and 5th parameters are out parameters and 5th parameter provides the approver records and it should have the same data type as ame_util.approversTable2. I have created this table type explicitly in oracle by the name XXXX_APPROVER_TABLE but i am getting the error while running the page "java.sql.SQLException: Fail to construct descriptor: Unable to resolve type: "APPS.ETHR_APPROVER_TABLE"". I requirement is to take the 5th parameter in ame_util.approversTable2 data type.
    Please help me urgently.
    Thanks
    Ashish

    Hi Kumar,
    The ETHR_APPROVER_TABLE is custom pl sql indexed table that I have created.following are the parameters of api-
    procedure getAllApprovers7(
    applicationIdIn in number,
    transactionTypeIn in varchar2,
    transactionIdIn in varchar2,
    approvalProcessCompleteYNOut out varchar2,
    approversOut out nocopy ame_util.approversTable2);
    i need a out variable of type ame_util.approversTable2 so get the values.
    I have changed the code and now getting the following error-
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-03115: unsupported network datatype or representation
    I have only changed this statement.
    stmt.registerOutParameter(5,OracleTypes.PLSQL_INDEX_TABLE);//,"XXXX_APPROVAL_TBL");

  • Error while calling java program from ABAP

    Hi Experts,
    We are trying for RFC inbound scenario.
    We followed the below blog
    /people/gregor.wolf3/blog/2004/08/26/setup-and-test-sap-java-connector-outbound-connection
    We are working with SAP JCO 3.0.2
    We are getting the error : 'STFC_CONNECTION' could not be found in the server repository.
    After I run the Java server program if I execute the RFC destination directly from SM 59 it is showing successful messages.
    If I stop the java program then this RFC is failing. Based on this we concluded that RFC to Java connection is working fine.
    But as mentioned in blog if we call the RFC Destination from ABAP program it is giving the below error,
    'STFC_CONNECTION' could not be found in the server repository.
    If we test the RFC destination using RFC_TRUSTED_CHECK standard FM we are getting the below error.
    'RFCPING' could not be found in the server repository.
    We create the RFC destination of Type : TCP/IP as exactly mention in the blog.
    Please help us in resolving this issue.
    Thanks
    Prince

    Pabi,
    Using the RFC connection,we can establish a link between Java and SAP.
    Afterwards,hope we can call Java program from ABAP.
    Below is the sample piece of code to establish RFC connection(link) between Java and SAP.
    DATA: REQUTEXT LIKE SY-LISEL,
          RESPTEXT LIKE SY-LISEL,
          ECHOTEXT LIKE SY-LISEL.
    DATA: RFCDEST like rfcdes-rfcdest VALUE 'NONE'.
    DATA: RFC_MESS(128).
    REQUTEXT = 'HELLO WORLD'.
    RFCDEST = 'JCOSERVER01'. "corresponds to the destination name defined in the SM59
    CALL FUNCTION 'STFC_CONNECTION'
       DESTINATION RFCDEST
       EXPORTING
         REQUTEXT = REQUTEXT
       IMPORTING
         RESPTEXT = RESPTEXT
         ECHOTEXT = ECHOTEXT
       EXCEPTIONS
         SYSTEM_FAILURE        = 1 MESSAGE RFC_MESS
         COMMUNICATION_FAILURE = 2 MESSAGE RFC_MESS.
    IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
        WRITE: / 'Call STFC_CONNECTION         SY-SUBRC = ', SY-SUBRC.
        WRITE: / RFC_MESS.
    ENDIF.

  • JCOProxy error while calling a RFC

    Hi,
       When i tr to call a RFC "CBIF_GLM1_BATCH_READ", i get a fatal error.The error message is:
    "JCOProxy error: Problem retrieving JCO.Function object."
    When i checked if i was able to connect to any of the functions other than BAPI's i got the same error.
    Is there something that i need to turn on in SAP?
    I am using SAP xMII 11.5.3 SR03 and SAP 4.7 Enterprise.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Ram,
    I tried loading this RFC, CBIF_GLM1_BATCH_READ, using my version of xMII 11.5.3 and it worked without a problem.  Are you sure that this RFC was not modified in your system that causes it to not work properly?  Also, when you tested the RFC in se37 did you try to run it without setting any parameters?  What about using the Web DynPro interface to see if it generates the XML properly?  Just a couple of things to look into, but I know it's not xMII.  If you did modify the RFC you will have to restart the ServletExec service to clear the xMII JCO API cache.  Hope this helps.

  • Error while calling a form from another form's menu item

    I created a main form and menu module for this form.
    I am calling another form from main form menu item.
    i moved both the forms and menu and compiled them.
    But, when i run this form i am getting an error saying
    FRM 92100: Your connection to the server was interrupted
    This may be the result of a network error, or a failure on the server.
    You will need to establish your session.
    I set the seperateframe = true
    networkentries = 30
    But still getting the same error.
    Is there any parameter that i am missing.
    I will greatly appreciate if anybody can direct me to the solution.
    Thank you.
