Error while calling the transaction where no authorizations

Hi.
When a SO is created, there is a configuration and programmed such a way that the Production Order will be created automatically. This is happening well when the user is having the Authorizations for the TCODE CO01. But if the user is not having the Authorizations for Co01, then it is giving a message as
"No status record was passed to ALE by the application. Here i want to give my own messages.
Please help me on this..

How is the process triggered? Inbound Idoc?
From what you are saying it looks like the production order is created by an inbound idoc and possibly a custom one. Looking at the error it is possible that the custom code does not catch the authorization Issue. You have locate the place where it fails the authorization check and after it comes back to your custom code you can add your status message.

Hi Sekhar,
Make sure that you are setting the environment first by running Midtier_Home\ip\install\setenv.bat OR Midtier_Home\ip\install\setenv.sh (according to your OS). Run the resubmit command after executing this setenv file.

Error while calling the EAI Viewer

Dear all,
I am working on Document Management System ECC 6.00
I am able to upload a PDF document in to the system, but when i save it and try to call the document back it is giving me the folllowing error."Error while calling the EAI Viewer" But when i try to open the same in the next PC it is opening. the work station application which i have defined is EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL% for the application .pdf.
Kindly suggest what will be the problem as it is not opening in my PC but opening in an different PC with the same user name.

thus layers help in indicating the modifications needed or commenting on the drawings...
Now the procedure for installation,
1. Install the latest SUN JAVA version. The path could be <b>c:\program files\java\</b>
2. While installing SAP GUI, ensure that the ECL component is not selected from R/3 Add On.
4. Install ECL Viewer 5.1.2 on local machine.
5. Ensure the path is as follows :(C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\System or C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\System\Java )
6. Ensure that the following files are in the <b>c:\program files\java\1.5.0_08\lib\ext</b>
folder:
- VisWebS.jar,
- VisWeb.jar,

In case, please copy the mentioned files from <ECL Install DIR>\java.

Error while executing the transaction QC22 (Quality Certificate for Batch)

Hello Friends,
While executing the transaction QC22(Quality Certificate for Batch), after giving the Batch Number and Customer Number, when i am executing it , system is throwing the error message as "Not all data was found for characteristic 90139982 in profile D80D8".
Message no. ZQ010
Diagnosis
Not all data was found for characteristic 90139982, referenced as number 0030 in certificate profile D80D8. The missing data could be the short text, specifications, or results.
System Response
The missing charactertistic will not be printed on the certificate,
Procedure
Review the settings for data orgin of the short text, specifications, and results, and adjust accordingly.
One more thing i would like to add here as against the same batch in april we had taken the print of COA (Quality Certificate) through the transaction QC22. But now we are trying to do that than system is thrown above mentioned error.
As i am new in QM, kindly explain we were to maintain the certificate profile.

Try with QA33 you may have display authorization, or check in MB51 on the base of material and batch you can find the lot number generated, then go to QA03 and check the result, if you want to validate the characters check with the inspection plan, the characters entered in the inspection plan and the characters in the concerned certificate profile.

Oracle JBDC error while calling the store procedure

HI All,
I am get one strange error while calling a store procedure which has two parameter in and out.
I am pass the correct XML file which reaches the RDB and then PI receives a exception error message saying:
oracle.rdb.jdbc.common.RdbException: Closed Resultset
where as no error log is availble in RBD for the same.
Can anybody tell me what can be the cause of the error.
Let me know if you requires more information on this.

Portal Runtime Error while checking the Transaction in Portal

We r in the phase of setting the configuration of Portal. We did the the template installer but when iam checking the transactions in Portal ( System Administration--> Support--->SAP Apllication) , it is throwing me the following error.

Under "Personalize > User Profile" the checkbox "Activate Accessibility Feature" must be unchecked!
as, people earlier also faced this issue and SAP provided this solution.
Also an alternative solution for this is like --
Go to:
<Drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<Instance No.>\j2ee\cluster\server<Server No.>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap\property\Transaction
and see the content of the 'WebGuiSSOLayer.properties' file.
One of the entries is ''ClassName'. The value on a 'valid' portal is: com.sapportals.portal.sapapplication.itsdetection.ITSDetectionLayer
If it's not the case, then go to:
<Drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<Instance No.>\j2ee\cluster\server<Server No.>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd
rename the file 'com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.par.bak' to 'com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.par' open the par file and edit the file ''WebGuiSSOLayer.properties' (add the relevant entry for ClassName).
Save the file (still with the par extension)
Restart the portal (if everything is OK then the bak extension will be added to the filename).
Just try this, hope it works.

Hi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.

Now, when I am using http://<<server>>:50000/XMII/SOAPRunner/TAG_TRX to create a Enterprise Service in SAP (i.e. SE80 transaction-> Create Enterprise Service-> Service Consumer-> URL/HTTP Destination-> URL ... I am getting following error.
Incorrect value: Entity "<<document>>"(5 /93 ). unexpected symbol: '<'
But, whenever I am using the same URL in MII BLS, it does not give any error. It correctly shows all input and output parameters.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Now, I am able to create the Web Service in SAP and it is now showing the respective class, attribute and methods to execute this web service (web service to call MII transaction).
But when I am calling it from ABAP (a simple Web Dynpro for ABAP method), it is showing me the following error:
Error (id=GET_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_ERROR): An error occurred when determining the business system (LD_ERROR)
Thought this error is coming from ABAP program, but I am sure that this is related to some configuration at SAP level. (Let me inform you that there are two different servers for SAP Web Dynpro ABAP and SAP MII.

I think it is caused by incorrect character entries you made in the 'set selection'
screen when you filtering data.
Because I was able to reproduce the error in the way below:
1, I changed my input language to Chinese.
2,In the 'set selection'screen,I selected '0company_code’ as the attribute ,operater is ‘=’,
and enter the value ‘SGA01’.
3,Saved the selection and ran the package. it failed with the same error as you got.
In my cube the value ‘SGA01’ is in English so in the ‘set selection’ screen if it is
entered in Chinese ,a mismatch will occur and result in the error.
If I change my input language to English and enter the valune ‘SGA01’ again in the ‘set
selection’screen,the error won’t occur.
Please check your entered values in the ‘set selection’screen.

When i try calling a BLS as a web service i am getting an error as " [ERROR] Error Invoking Web Service Action: Status (502): Proxy Error ( No data record is available. ) "
The same WSDLGen url is working from the browser. The path is http://<server>:50000/XMII/WSDLGen/<TrxPath>
I also gave Proxy Host and Proxy Port in System Management --> System Administration
Is there anything i am missing in the web service action.

Hi Diana,
It is working now. I removed the proxy settings from system administrator and added a new credential alias for web service. And then it started working..
The scenario which i am trying is as mentioned. We need to call a transaction from a diiferent MII Server. So at first i was trying with the Trx within the same server.
Hope this is the best way to access the transaction from a different server.

Error while calling the function which returns SQL Query!!!

Hi,
I have a Function which returns SQL query. I am calling this function in my APEX report region source.
The query is dynamic SQL and its size varies based on the dynamic "where clause" condition.
But I am not able to execute this function.It gives me the following error in APEX region source.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Even in SQL* Plus or SQL developer also same error .
The length of my query is more than 4000. I tried changing the variable size which holds my query in the function.
Earlier it was
l_query varchar2(4000)
Now I changed to
l_query varchar2(32767).
Still it is throwing the same error.
Can anybody help me to resolve this.???

Hi Varad,
I am already using 32k of varchar2. Then also it is not working.
It is giving the same error. I think there is something to do with buffer size.
My query size is not more than 4200. Even if i give 32k of varchar2 also buffer is able to hold only 3997 size of the query only.
Error is
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Tried CLOB also. It is not working.
Any other solution for this.

How to Fill the selection screen while calling the transaction

Hi All,
         my requirement is in one of the screen while i will press a push button it will call one transaction and it will fill the selection screen build order number field and skip the first screen i.e the selection screen it will show the output of that report directly.
am using this code .

set PARAMETER ID 'ANR' FIELD aufnr.
RANGES s_aufnr FOR afko-aufnr.

    AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.

here the problem is i cant use both skip screen and using at a time nither the screen is filling nor its skipping the first screen.
but its not working would any one please help how can i do this functionality?

Do in this way.
DATA: rspar TYPE TABLE OF rsparams WITH HEADER LINE.
rspar-selname = 'S_AUFNR'.
rspar-kind = 'S'.
rspar-sign = 'I'.
rspar-option = 'EQ'.
rspar-low = 'aufnr'.
APPEND rspar.
SUBMIT zfs1_prog VIA SELECTION-SCREEN WITH SELECTION-TABLE rspar AND RETURN.
If this doesnt suit yer requirement, I wud suggest you to use BDC as below.
CALL TRANSACTION 'SE11' USING bdcdata
                       MODE   'E'
                       UPDATE 'A'.
