Error while Running Graph in Integrator
Hi I am new to the whole world of Java so kindly let me know if this is a noob question. While Running Graphs from the Getting Stated data package in Endeca Integrator I am getting the following wrror, can someone please let me know how to fix this:
[Fatal Error] :1:1: Content is not allowed in prolog
Thanks,

Verify that you have not unintentionally corrupted your project XML files, especially by editing them with a rogue editor, e.g. Windows Notepad is known to add a BOM to a file if you save as UTF-8. -

Thnx.!

I recommend wrapping the REPORT_OBJECT_STATUS function with a SUBSTR that limits the data returned to 20 bytes, which will ensure the results fit.
For example:
rep_status := SUBSTR(REPORT_OBJECT_STATUS(v_rep), 1, 20); -
HELP - Getting INS0034 Error while running RuntimeAssistant on UNIX
Hy all,
hope anyone here can help me.
The Problem:
OWB 10.1.0.1.4 is installed on a UNIX Cluster-Server (OS: Solaris 10)
(I connect remote to the Server via a tunneled ssh connect x-session).
So, i still have run the reposinst.sh via that connection - No Problem.
Next step was to create a runtime repository. I started the runtimeinst.sh, the wizzard opened in the GUI and i´ve inserted the SYS passord, ip-adress, Port, sid.
Then i made a cklick on Next,... and then : INS0034....needs to run on the server where the Database is installed.
I don´t understand what´s the Problem. The Database is installed on this server.
The owb Software is installed on this server.
The owb is in a different oracle Home installed.
Connect to the Databes is ok.
I can build a design repository, but the runtimeinst.sh said evrytime : INS0034.
Where´s my Fault?
I´ve tried with the IP Adress, with 'localhost',..... The Port and SID is absolutely ok.
I realy hope anyone can help me, i still looked on so much Sites in the web, and in the Oracle Installation Guide.
Thanks in Advance
LoneWolfYes , it does. I might be wrong but, I think the problem comes from stage initalization. Because I check the logs and every thing is ok. My environment is:
OS: ubuntu 11.10 - 64 bit
jdk: jdk1.7.0_03 - 32bit
javafx: JavaFX 2.1 build b17
Thanks

Error while running the financial report in the workspace.
Hi,
Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error. You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers. -

Error while running payment medium in f110 Message no. FZ208
Dear All ,
I am getting the following error while running payment medium,
No data records found for these selection criteria
Message no. FZ208
Diagnosis
No data could be accessed for this selection.
Possible causes are:
No data exists for the activated selection.
You have no authorization to display or edit data from this selection.
Procedure
First check whether your selection criteria are correct. You may need to expand the criteria to include a larger search area to check whether data exists in the system.
Make sure you have the proper authorizations for displaying and editing data. Read the Release note for DME management for further information on the authorization objects.
Please note that i have made some changes in the payment media format and saved before that it was woking fine, can any one help me in finding out the errorHi,
Please verify whether there is no other payment proposal pending for the same payment criteria. Or just follow the following steps for deleting the existing proposal and recreate the payment run alongwith parameters(since you have made changes to the payment media format),proposal and then run the payment:
In F110 select Edit-Proposal-Delete
Edit-Parameters-Delete
Please note, incase we also want to delete the output after the payment is run then we can delete the same through Edit-Payment Run-Delete Output and then proceed with the above steps.

Error while running OMBPlus Script
Hi,
I am getting below error while running OMBPlus script.
+../../../jdk/bin/java[87]: getconf: not found+
OMB*Plus: Release 9.2.0.4.0
Copyright (c) 2003 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Exception in thread "main"
I am not even able to run ./OMBPlus.sh.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sachin BansalHi Nawneet,
Thanks for the reply..
I tried the same thing on our server. But there also I am getting the same error.
Am I missing anything?
What I am doing is:
1. Created one .tcl file (deploy_map.tcl).
2. Going to path where OMBPlus.sh resides i.e.$OWB_HOME/bin/unix
3.Then I called ./OMBPlus.sh and passed the path of deploy_map.tcl as an argument.
For e.g. if path of deploy_map.tcl is /abc/xyz/deploy_map.tcl
Then I would call OMBPlus like below:
./OMBPlus.sh /abc/xyz/deploy_map.tcl
Even if I would not pass any argument then still it should be connected to OMBPlus. But that's not happening.
Regards,
Sachin Bansal
