Event Handling in swf-version 18 broken ?

Question

Running this simple example with -swf-version=17  works and i get the console out message "mouseDownHandler" when i press the button.

In -swf-version=18 i get this error message instead:
Error: Error #1502: Ein Skript wurde länger als die Standard-Timeout-Zeit von 15 Sekunden ausgeführt.

What the hell i'm doing wrong ??
I need version 18, cause of pthread support!

Looks like a possible bug, but you can work around this by doing an indefinite sleep instead of AS3_GoAsync, like you see with tutorial 9 in the docs where it does "avm2_self_msleep(&mainCond, 0);" at the end of main()
