EWM PPF Assign Warehouse Request to Wave

We found that PRDO is assigned to wave number 100000585 from
PPF Action.  But when check from mon ,there is no wave 100000585.
We try to create new wave and include this odo into the wave. It is not possible.

Hi,
Did you check your Q in SMQ2?  It could be that it is still processing and hanged up for some reason.  That would be the first place to look.
Thanks,
Faical

    Hi,
SPPFP > /SCDL/DELIVERY > Condition Configuration (Transportable Conditions) > Outbound Delivery Order with Automatic Wave Assign >
    (1) Assign Warehouse Request to Wave /SCWM/WHR_WAVE_ASSIGN_NEW     Assign to Wave At Delivery Creation
    (2) Assign Warehouse Request to Wave /SCWM/WHR_WAVE_ASSIGN_NEW     Assign to Wave After Change of Delivery
The default configurations seem to be ok, for both:
    Schedule condition --> Schedule Automatically
Start condition --> No condition (Seen as Fulfilled)
But for all that I have to start the PPF action manually in transaction SPPFP, that the wave assignment is processed.
Which further setting or flag is missing that the manual step (in tx SPPFP) is no longer needed?
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind Regards!

  • Unable to create Warehouse Task from Warehouse Request in EWM

    Hi All,
I have created Inbound Delivery in ERP system which created Inbound Delivery Notification in EWM and then converted to Inbound Delivery (Warehouse Request).
In Warehouse Request screen, using follow on functions --> Warehouse Task, I have been trying to create Warehouse Task but I am facing the below error.
There are no unpacked or packed warehouse request items for processing
    Message no. /SCWM/UI_TODLV002
    Diagnosis
For the transmitted search criteria, the system could not find any warehouse request items or handling units for which a warehouse task can be created.
The system can only find a warehouse request or handling unit if the following conditions are fulfilled:
The correct process was selected according to the document searched for:
    Putaway for inbound delivery
Stock removal for outbound delivery request
    Posting change for posting change
Stock transfer for internal stock transfer
The warehouse number entered matches the warehouse number in the warehouse request.
The warehouse process type is set in the warehouse request.
Movement control confirms that the delivery is relevant for picking.
No warehouse requests have yet been created for all of the requested quantity.
      System Response
The system does not propose any warehouse request items or handling units for processing.
The above settings already in place for me, but still I am facing the error,
Request your help in resolving this issue.

    Hi Juergen/Sandip,
We have material number and quantity in Warehouse Request.
But Warehouse Request has 'Locked" indicator and PPF actions tab at item details has no details and "Validations" tab shows
I have created "Packaging Specification" for this material but didn't pack. Do I need to pack it?
    Please suggest.

  • Create Warehouse Request for Inbound Delivery Notification

    Dear Experts,
I have created Inbound Delivery in  ECC and Inbound Delivery Notification has been created in SAP EWM.
Kindly suggest me how and where can I create Warehouse Request for Inbound Delivery Notification.
I donot see any transaction or link to create Warehouse Request for the Inbound Delivery.
I am new to EWM.  Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Shetty

    Hi,
After the Inbound delivery has been distributed to the EWM environment the Inbound delivery notification (IDN) is created. So far so good but after the IDN has been created you will have to activate it manually if it didn't automatically. In order to activate it please go to transaction /n/SCWM/IDN - Maintain Inbound Delivery Notification and execute it for all of the IDNs that are not activated. Then you activate it and it creates the ID.
After the ID has been created, if the system (Post Processing Framework) didn't create the tasks relevant for receipt than you have to go into the ID and choose Inbound Delivery - Follow-On Functions - Warehouse Tasks and create and save the warehouse tasks relevant for receipt.
    All the best,
    Claudiu Maxim

  • EWM : Confirmation of Warehouse task for a handling unit

    Hi experts,
In EWM ,we have a requirement of confirming the open warehouse tasks in the backgound for a handling unit.
Is there a function module that can update the confirmation of the Warehouse task and change the status from open to comfirmed.
    Kindly help us on this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rashmi.

    Hi koen,
I tried with the FM that you suggested...
But somehow with the process type 'stock removal' gives an error...
Is that that this FM will help to create a pick task for a particular outbound delivery--Tcode:/SCWM/TODLV_TO.
how will this FM take the outbound delivery as an input?or it will be on the corresponding sales order number and item number as input?
Being new EWM i require help on this..about how to go about creating the pick task for an outbound delivery which wil be equal to the warehouse request.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rashmi.

  • OIM 11g - Modify Assign Roles request

    Hi everyone,
I would like to know if it's possible to modify Assign Roles request in order to restrict the available assignees. I mean for example, if a manager wants to create a new Assign Roles request, he will be able to select only users whose he is the manager of.
If someone knows how to do that he will be really helpfull !
    Thanks in advance,
    Thibault

Thanks for both of you !!
Indeed it's OOTB and it didn't work for me because there was another authorization policy configured for REQUEST_ADMINISTRATOR which allowed them to search for all users. And because all of my requesters had this role, they could search for all users. So I configured a new request template which allow a role, that I had already created before, to create request and now it works fine.
    Thanks !!

  • Assigning static request ports

    Hi,
Due to our firewall deployment, we have to assign static request ports for serveral servers in the CMC in BI 4.0. This can be done manually, but we would like to script; we plan to use silent install so one wrapper script to do the install and then assign the ports would be great!
Note this is BI 4.0 on windows... so my feeling is this is not possible (windows is not great for scripting), but would be really happy to be proven wrong!
    Thanks,
    Tadhg

First and foremost, this definitely belongs in Idea Place.  Whether it be setting command line arguments via the BIP SDK, or setting default firewall configuration for new services, this behavior would be useful in a number of scenarios, including onboarding new tenants in a multi-tenant environment.  In the XIR2 days you could have accomplished this through a simple .reg file that modified the service parameters in the Windows registry.  Since the SIA now controls the relevant services they read their command lines from the system database like Graham mentions.
I do have a couple of thoughts on this, though I admit I haven't tested any of this so can't guarantee it would work.
Set your requestport properties in a test environment, and use the BIAR command line option (see section 15.5 on Page 520 of the FP03 admin guide) to backup the relevant server instances.  You could use a query like:
    select si_id, si_kind, si_current_command_line from ci_systemobjects where si_kind = 'server'
Since the default servers should always have the same SI_ID you could script the LCMCLI to update your server objects with the appropriate command line immediately following the installation.
Again not entirely sure this would work but perhaps something worth trying...

  • Assign transport request to a query

    Hi
I built a query and I have created a transport request in SE09 (selected workbench request). Now I have to assign this query to this transport number. Pls help me how should I do this?
    Thanks
    Ajay

    Ajay
In BW Transport process  is little different than R/3
In RSA1 transaction click on Transport connection>Choose Object types>Query Elements>Query>Choose your query and drag in to right side panel and click on transport objects and assign a request to your query.
    Hope this helps

  • Set Project Assignment of Requests as Mandatory in Change RequestManagement

    Hi Guys,
I am working solution manager 4.0 CHARM implementation. now my issue is i want to set project assignment of requests as mandatory in CHARM. but when i go to transaction code /tmwflow/cmsconf i dont find any projects.
Before this i have created a maintenance project for CHARM with maintenance cycle and activated change request management and i also generated IMG project for my maintenance project, but still i could not find any projects in /tmwflow/cmsconf. Therefore i would like to request you people to give your valuable inputs for this at the earliest possible.
    Thanks&Regards
    Raju

    Hi Yorker,
For the first part of your question where you want to make a field mandatory in the sales view of article master, you can do it through t-codes OMSR and OMS9 where you can find the field selection group to which your field is attached and change that field to reqd entry.
And for the secod part where you want to find out articles where this field does not have a value. Goto SE16N or SE16 and for that field click on the selection options button and select = and leave the field blank. This will give you all articles that don't have a value in this field.

  • Definition and use of Warehouse Request and Warehouse Order in WM

Can any one please give me the definition and use of Warehouse Request and Warehouse Order in warehouse management?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Nagi Reddy

    As per my understanding :
Warehouse request is similar to transfer of requirements.
Warehouse Order is similar to Transfer Orders.
If iam not wrong pls go through this...
Transfer Requirement Locate the document in its SAP Library structure
    Definition
This is a document that serves to plan goods movements using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
By differentiating between the planning and execution of a goods movement, you can recognize immediately whether a goods movement needs to be still executed (transfer requirement is open), is currently being executed (transfer order is created), or is completed ( transfer order is confirmed).
    Use
On the one hand, transfer requirements are used to pass on information on goods movements that are posted in Inventory Management (MM-IM) to the Warehouse Management System (WMS). You can, however, also use transfer requirements for the following purposes:
To initiate goods movements in WMS
To initiate material replenishment for production storage bins in the production supply areas using the Production Planning (PP) component
To call up transfer requirement reports in order to get an overview of all pending goods movements
On the basis of existing transfer requirements, the Warehouse Management System creates transfer orders, which, in turn, serve to execute the physical goods movements in the warehouse.
The system updates the transfer requirement:
When you create, confirm or cancel a transfer order
When you cancel a goods receipt or goods issue posting in Inventory Management (MM-IM) before the respective transfer order was generated in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
In this case, the system automatically reduces the transfer requirement quantity by the quantity to be canceled, or it deletes the transfer requirement altogether if the entire requirement quantity is to be canceled.
    Structure
A transfer requirement consists of a transfer requirement header with general information and one or several transfer requirement items with material information (see the section Creating Transfer Requirements).
The transfer requirement contains all the necessary information on a planned goods movement.
         What should be moved?
        Which quantity should be moved?
         When should it be moved?
The planning date is important for further automatic processing.
Which transfer type is the basis of the goods movement?
Each goods movement in the warehouse is classified by a transfer type indicator. This key differentiates between:
                    A stock putaway
                    A stock pick
                    A stock transfer
Why is it to be moved?
Was the transfer order created as a result of a purchase order or a production order, or was it created manually?
    Transfer Order
    Definition
Document used for executing goods movements with the help of Warehouse Management (WM). Logical, physical goods movements or stock changes can be the basis for a transfer order. These include:
        Picks
        Putaways
        Posting changes
        Repacking
        Inventory
    Use
As a rule, you create the transfer order with reference to a source document from WMS or other SAP application components. A source document can be a:
        Delivery document
        Tansfer requirement
        Material document
        Posting change notice
The transfer order contains all the information required to execute the physical transfer of materials into the warehouse, out of the warehouse, or from one storage bin to another storage bin within the warehouse. In addition, it is also used for executing logical stock transfers. Logical transfers of stock occur, for example, when goods are released from inspection and made available for general use. These logical transfers are called posting changes in WM.
When you confirm a transfer order, you inform the system that it has been processed and that the goods have arrived at the intended destination (see the section on confirming transfer orders). If the planned quantity (target quantity) differs from the actual quantity of stock that is moved, a difference quantity exists. If you confirm a transfer order with a difference, the difference quantity is automatically posted to an interim storage type for differences (see the section on stock differences).
Once they have been carried out, transfer orders also have a control and monitoring function since they document movements in the warehouse (see Warehouse Controlling).
For certain inventory methods (for example, zero stock check, inventory based on putaway), transfer orders serve as inventory documents. In this case, when the actual quantity is confirmed (after the first putaway into a storage bin), it is updated in the system as the inventory quantity.
    Structure
A transfer order contains all the necessary information on a planned goods movement.
        What should be moved?
        Which quantity should be moved?
Where should the bin be moved from (source storage bin), and where to (destination storage bin)?
The transfer order consists of a transfer order header with general information and one or several transfer order items with material information (see the section on creating transfer orders).
    Transfer Order Header
The transfer order header contains the transfer order number and the date that it was created and confirmed. It also identifies the transfer requirement or delivery on which it is based as well as the movement type.
    Transfer Order Item
A transfer order can have one or several items. The number of items contained in a transfer order depends on how many storage bins the system accesses in order to reach the total quantity of goods needed for the picking requirement or how many bins are needed to store the goods (putaway).
A transfer order item contains subsections that specify the direction of the goods movement for each item.
        Source storage bin
This subsection contains the source storage bin and the quantity of material that is being transferred. It indicates the storage bin from which goods are to be picked (goods issue) or an interim storage type (such as the goods receipt area) from which goods are taken to be put away in the warehouse.
        Destination storage bin
This subsection contains the quantity of material that is being transferred and the storage bin into which the goods are to be put away. For example, it may contain a storage bin in a high-rack storage area that has been selected for a stock putaway, or an interim storage type (the goods issue area) for a stock pick.
         Return storage bin
If, for example, you have the complete stock requirement set and you pick more stock than required from a storage bin, the system creates a subsection for the return storage bin. This can be the case, for example, when a complete pallet is removed from the shelf, but only a portion of the materials on the pallet is picked. In this case, the remaining quantity can either be returned to its original storage bin or transferred to another one.

  • Assign Service Request Owner on creation?

    Hi,
On almost all record types the owner field is filled with the name of the logged person as default value. But on the service request this field has no default value. It's blank with a look up in order to select a user to assign the SR. I'd like to have the name of the logged person as default value on creation.
When I got to the aministration of this field I don't have access to create a default value or a validation rule.
So has anyone an idea how I could get to a solution for the cration of the SRs?
    Cheers myriam

    Hi,
Go to your role definition -> Step 4 (Privileges) and ensure the option "Advanced Field Management - Set up advanced field management features such as advanced default values and custom field validation " is turned on
Then you would be able to see those options (May have to log off and login). To set the logged in user as the default user, use the function LoginId() in post default of Owner By Id field to do it (It assigns only after saving the record)

  • How to Assign The request when Initiation

    Hi all
My BPM Project contains of 2 roles and 3 users..
Roles are : Initiator , and Supervisor
init1 user belongs to Initiator role
    sup1,+sup2+ belong to Supervisor role
init1 user must specify to which supervisor participant *(sup1,sup2)* when creating the request
The default implementation of Oracle Workspace is when the request sent and the supervisor login then there is no participant selected
so, How can I specify to which supervisor the request should sent?
    Thanks

In the assignment tab for the supervisor task you can change the Participant List configuration to specify a specific user (or list of comma separated user names) rather than the default swimlane assignment that uses the bpm:getPerformer() function. You'll have to capture the assigned user as an editable property of the payload value in the initiator task. Then pass that value to the supervisor's task (via that task's payload) and reference the userid in the expression to build the participant list. The participant type will be User, and the value will be an xpath into the payload where the supervisor's userid is found.
