Exception Description: Unable to process XML tag [driver-class] with value

Hi
I'm newbie with TopLink. I try to write a litle application with TopLink:
- First, I create a session.xml file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<toplink-sessions version="11g Technology Preview 3 (11.1.1.0.0)" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<session xsi:type="database-session">
<name>dbsession</name>
<event-listener-classes/>
<logging xsi:type="toplink-log"/>
<primary-project xsi:type="xml">META-INF/tlMap.xml</primary-project>
<login xsi:type="database-login">
<platform-class>oracle.toplink.platform.database.oracle.Oracle10Platform</platform-class>
<user-name>dev</user-name>
<password>F6A3DA7BA187330D4E11A713C42FF833</password>
<sequencing>
<default-sequence xsi:type="table-sequence">
<name>Default</name>
</default-sequence>
</sequencing>
<driver-class>oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver</driver-class>
<connection-url>jdbc:oracle:thin:@//10.10.10.31:1521/devdb1</connection-url>
<bind-all-parameters>false</bind-all-parameters>
<struct-converters/>
</login>
</session>
</toplink-sessions>
- Second, I create a Java Application ( Application1.java):
package project2;
import java.sql.ResultSet;
import java.sql.ResultSet;
import java.sql.SQLException;
import java.util.Vector;
import oracle.toplink.queryframework.DataModifyQuery;
import oracle.toplink.queryframework.SQLCall;
import oracle.toplink.queryframework.StoredProcedureCall;
import oracle.toplink.sessions.DatabaseSession;
import oracle.toplink.sessions.Session;
import oracle.toplink.tools.sessionconfiguration.XMLSessionConfigLoader;
import oracle.toplink.tools.sessionmanagement.SessionManager;
import oracle.toplink.util.SessionFactory;
public class Application1 {
public Application1() {
public static void main(String[] args) {
// new Application1();
String statement = "SELECT motdepasse,login FROM bou_courtier";
SessionManager sessionmanager = SessionManager.getManager();
System.out.println("test");
// SessionFactory sessionfactory = new SessionFactory("META-INF/sessions.xml","dbsession");
DatabaseSession session = (DatabaseSession)sessionmanager.getSession(new XMLSessionConfigLoader(),"dbsession",Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader());
// Session session = sessionfactory.acquireSession();
System.out.println("test");
SQLCall sqlcall = new SQLCall(statement);
session.executeNonSelectingCall(sqlcall);
ResultSet rs = sqlcall.getResult();
try {
while(rs.next()){
String strPass = rs.getString(1);
String strLogin = rs.getString(2);
System.out.println("Password :"+strPass+"---"+"Login :"+strLogin);
} catch (SQLException e) {
// TODO
- Third, I build and run Application1.java in Jdevelopper 11g preview 3. Sadly, the result is a error:
Exception in thread "main" Local Exception Stack:

Can you help me to debug this error. Many thanks

The internal error: "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver"
is stating it can't find your driver jar file on the classpath. You'll need to check that you've included your Database driver in the list of libraries on your classpath.

Chris

  • Text Box issue - displays XML tag instead of the value in EBS

    I need to use a textbox (or a autoshape with text) to place a data element in a specific position on the page in an RTF template. I tried using tables and it didn't help. This layout needs some elements to be placed at specific location and using an autoshape or a text box is easy. When I preview the pdf output on my desktop, it works fine. Once I upload the template into EBS XML Publisher, the value in the text box shows up as an XML Tag instead of the value in that tag. The same XML data when loaded and previewed locally shows the data instead of the tag.
    Any thoughts on this? Is there a patch or something we might need for this in EBS?
    Thanks,
    Vinay

    Thanks Tim for the quick response.
    Yes - the versions are same. Also, I tried giving the complete path. The issue is that it is not even reading the text in the text box as an XML tag. It seems to think the whole text box is an object and hence just display that text as is. If it was reading and not able to resolve it, I guess it would have displayed blank (and not the tag as is). Again as I mentioned it works fine in local preview on my machine.

    congratulations on deciding to learn spring. that's a smart thing to do.
    stop assuming that you did it correctly. the xml file is not in the classpath. when you get it there correctly, spring will find it.
    you have the source files and xml in that directory, but where do the .class files end up when you run them? does the xml config end up there, too?
    remember, the xml config should be in the directory where the root of the package hierarchy begins, not down where the .class files are.

  • Lost bookmarks;tried back up and restoreing yet didnt find any files, it says unable to process. could you please help with this promlem?

    my bookmaks are disappeared yesterday all of sudden.tried to get back ups by doing restoring from import and back up colum, yet nothing can be processed.

    Rather late to mention that it is good practice to keep backups, for instance by following
    * [[backing up and restoring bookmarks]]
    * and although it must not be regarded as a backup method consider using [[what is firerfox sync|sync]] that is intended to allow you to sync two devices, you then effectivly have a backup on another device.
    Make a manual backup of whatever you have now and store it somewhere safe, not in firefox profile or program paths - maybe use the Windows Desktop location. Note unfortunatly the restore process overwrites existing bookmarks.
    See also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks that article goes into a bit more depth, and is relatively accurate still. (It tends to refer to Firefox 3, there are now more copies of bookmark backups by default for instance in Firefox 7)

    I abandon this already since I cannot find any solution to look up for this.
    On the other hand, I am maintaining two jdeveloper version just to get around this problem.
    When testing ADFBC, I used the 11.1.1.5 while for non-junit test I used the 11.1.1.6
    Hopefully this gets fixed on the next release as I am having a hard time swithcing between two JDev version.

    On a site collection of SP2013 on-premise farm, I found there are many similar log occur every minute. The logs are like:

    The log level is medium. The same set of log occur every minute with same set of 60 different GUIDs. All related function on the site is working as expected. By using PowerShell to loop thru the site collections I confirmed there is no field using these
    GUID. Also I have checked the content database and configuration database, also no luck to finding these GUIDs.
    These logs should be related with the search service since the Authentication Authorization log mentioned it is the "Crawler" account in action. However I have no idea why the crawler keep looking for these GUID. I have reset the farm service multiple
    times already.
    The farm was upgraded from SP2010 and it seems no such logs before upgrade.
    Any advice? Thank you.

    From your description, this issue ocurred after you upgraded SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. Is it right?
    Whether you have some solutions in SharePoint 2010.
    If yes, please make sure you deploy the solution in SharePoint 2013 well after you upgraded to SharePoint 2013.

  • IDOC to File, variable substitution on outbound message XML tag attributes

    My scenario is IDOC to FILE using XSL mappings.The target format is 2 XML tags (header, line) with the data stored in the attributes of each tag.
    EG. <header attr1=one attr2=two attr3=three><line attr1=one attr2=two /></header>
    The name of the file is dictated by an outbound attribute value in the header tag.
    Can I get access to it the attribute in the target message in the CC_FILE using variable substution. ?
    Currently I am not using content conversion as the XSL produces the file format needed, so I would pefer not to change the outbound message format/structure as this is going to an external party. I would prefer not to change the outbound format as this would need content conversion to strip the unwanted/information/processing node that is used for this purpose (file naming).
    The name is a calculation of fields in the IDOC and is not explicit dictated (business logic is applied in the mapping to get the file name), so I would prefer to use the attribute of the resulting XML to keep the "business logic" in the XSL..
    Things that cannot be changed.... 1. Must use XSL.for mapping. 2. Format cannot be changed of the outbound message. 3. Would prefer not to involved content conversion to keep formatting/node structure in the XSL mapping.
    I have seen some reference to this being possible on the forums but nothing solid from what Ive read.
    Something like var1 = payload:/Header/@attr1 in variable sub to get at the attribute
    Any comments ?
    Thanks in advance.
    One final piece of info. its on a PI 7.1 system.

    I think its best explained by my other thread Link:PI 7.1 Access to Dynamic Configuration through Java Class .
    Thanks for the link I have already implemented based on that link but the one crucial difference is that it is implemented using a static method with no reference to the actual object (payload) for Dynamic configuration. It seems that without the 7.0 API which isnt available in 7.1 by default XSL with java extentions is limited to static methods. If you could read the other thread it certainly is possible I'm mistaken.

  • Showing xml tags

    Hi,
    My report is unable to show xml tags and only shows the data store in the tags.The column is a clob.Please advise.
    Deepak

    Sergio,
    Its just a simple report.
    The sql query is this
    'select "BAM_STYLESHEET_SNAME","BAM_STYLESHEET_DESC",to_char(dbms_lob.substr(bam_stylesheet_dfntn,32000,1)) "BAM_STYLESHEET_DFNTN",nvl("UPD_USR_ID","ADD_USR_ID") "Last Upd User",nvl("UPD_TMSTMP","ADD_TMSTMP") "Last Upd Tmstmp"
    from "BAM_STYLESHEET" '
    The bam_stylesheet_dfntn colum is of type CLOB and stores xml data.The query as show does not show any of the xml tags or tabs.It only shows the data stored in the tags.

  • Search and Replace XML TAG using JAVA

    Hi All,
    I have an XML file, say RESULT.XML Which has about 30000 Lines (yes Thirty Thousand ). For some reason i need to replace an existing tag with a different tag(not the value inside the tag, But the tag itself) . I am facing a challenge. I will explain it as below.
    I have a csv file which has 2 values as given below
    <VALUE A> , <VALUE B>
    where <VALUE A> is an existing node in the RESULT.XML and <VALUE B> is the node that should replace <VALUE A> in the RESULT.XML
    i have 500 such entries in the file.
    Now i need to write a program to read the csv file, Search <VALUE A> in the RESULT.XML and Replace it with <VALUE B> of the csv file.
    please let me know how do i start with this.
    I really want to fix this issue.
    Existing Node = <Product ID="role (contact) 3" UserTypeID="Product Number">_
    To be changed to = <Product ID= role (contact)3" UserTypeID="Product Number">_
    please reply if you need any further information
    Thanks in Advance

    Sounds like a job for XSLT or Perl not Java though it can be done in Java. In Java I would initially try
    1) Read the csv file using one of the many free CSV parsers and build a Map<String,String>.
    2) Create a Rewriter using the map keys as targets and use the map values as replacements.
    3) Read the XML file line by line and process each line with the Rewriter.
    4) Save each line to an output file.
    For a one-off task this would probably serve but it could prove very slow if you need to run this on a daily basis.

  • Mapping of XML tags with column

    My xml structure is :
    <PARAMS>
    <ROWSET>
    <ROW NUM="1">
    <SID>man123</SID>
    <PO>
    <PO>OBJ1</PO>
    <PI>
    <PI>PARENTOBJ1 INSTANCE</PI>
    </PI>
    </PO>
    </ROW>
    </params>
    My table structure is :
    CREATE TABLE TEMP(SID VARCHAR2(20),PO POBJECT_T)
    where Object types are:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE PINSTANCE_T AS OBJECT (PI VARCHAR2(255),CO COBJECT_T);
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE POBJECT_T AS OBJECT (PO VARCHAR2(255),PI PINSTANCE_T);
    To store this XML directly into table i have to have Column with name "PO" (same as XML tag).I am using this same table to store other XML with same tags . With this limitation its difficult to do so.Is there any way to map XML tag to column with different name????
    Thanks

    Hi,
    thx for your Reply,
    seems to work basicly but i get now in the IDE warnings with:
    "Data binding will not be able to detect changes when using
    square bracket operator. For Array, please use
    ArrayCollection.getItemAt() instead. "
    And how can i access the next item something like this didnt
    work right
    try someniceid.lastResult["some-root"]["someother-root"]
    I had to use single quotes (') to get it to work.
    Any ideas?
    Kind regards,
    Marko

  • Adobe InDesign CS5 Server JavaScript: Get rectangle by XML tag

    Hi,
    Current set-up:
    Adobe InDesign Server CS5 scripted through ExtendScript via PHP SOAP
    The problem:
    I'm currently placing an image file into a rectangle using the following code:
    frame     =   doc.rectangles[0];
    imgList   =   frame.place(new File(img));
    This works fine; the img file is placed into the rectangle as expected. However, this only refers to the first rectangle in the document: if I have two rectangles in the document, the image is placed into the last created rectangle.
    What I'd ideally like to be able to refer to the rectangle by its XML tag - something like:
    frame     =   doc.getRectangleByTag('Pic'); // <Pic> being the name of the XML tag
    imgList   =   frame.place(new File(img));
    Does anyone have any advice as to how this can be achieved? I realise this is rudimentary question, but am finding no joy after several hours of searching.
    Many thanks

    What I'd ideally like to be able to refer to the rectangle by its XML tag - something like:
    frame     =   doc.getRectangleByTag('Pic'); // <Pic> being the name of the XML tag
    imgList   =   frame.place(new File(img));
    Are you sure you want to do it this way?
    Could you explain why? I suspect there is a better solution.
    In any case, at least in my test case, the XML tag is associated with the image inside the frame and not the frame itself. So if you want the frame, you must get the image associated with the tag and then go up to the parent. This works in a simple test:
    var frame =
        app.activeDocument.xmlElements[0].
        evaluateXPathExpression("//tennis")[0].
        graphics[0].parent;
    [object Rectangle]
