EXE does no longer find a control iside itself if moved to another destination

I am using LV2010SP1. Since yesterday I have a serious problem with the executable (built by the application builder) of my LV project.
The EXE is running fine when started in the destination directory where application builder created it. But when I move it to its final destination inside the program files folder of Windows and try to start it there a dialog box pops up asking me to find one of my controls.
The information in the first dialog box shows that the application expects the control to be inside the application (which is ok and where it definitely is). But the first part of the path points to the destination directory where application builder created the EXE.
So it seems as if this path is a fixed absolute path instead of a relative one. Question is why. All other VIs and controls inside the EXE file are found.
I am working on this project for 2 years now and I never saw this before! I always could move the EXE wherever necessary and didn't see this dialog box.
What I tried so far:
- remove the control from the project, save, quit, load the project again, add the control again -> no success
- re-compile the main vi inside LV -> no success
- clear the compiled object cache (I have separated source and object files) -> no success
- creating the project anew -> no success
- tell application builder to use the EXE file as destination for this specific control (under "source file settings") -> no success
- use LV8.x file layout -> doesn't work at all as I am using classes
Anybody with a good idea?

Sorry, I don't think there is enough information to troubleshoot. Can you create and attach a small application project that demonstrates the problem?
Why don't you build an installer instead of moving the executable into the program files hierarchy manually.
Another idea...
Are you on 64 bit windows? In this case 32 bit applications should go into the "Program Files (x86)" hierarchy instead. Only 64bit programs belong into the "Program Files" area.

That was obviously not the problem (I've seen that other users had this kind of problem).
Radio button was in place and I could see all my radio stations - but none of them was playing.
Today I was trying again - and miracle: all streams work!
Since I didn't change my settings or version I guess that the problem was elsewhere (or within iTunes).
Unfortunately this will not help other people having the same problem - I don't know why it's solved now.

There once was a link to the updates made in a given release. I can no longer find it. Does this still exist?

When I try to find some list of changes made in 6.0, I can no longer find that link in Firefox online support. Does such a URL still exist?

The free trial is all I needed to migrate my iPod Touch library into my main iTunes library. For those that want to use this tool for the same needs there are some things that need to be moved manually, e.g. Apps. But you can do it within the program very easily. Also iBooks/PDFs etc. need to be moved manually. The help section will point you in the right direction.
No more switching iTunes libraries for me.

My computer which is a packard bell vista operating system, recently stopped working as the power supply overheated and blew up and it has recently been sent back to the Know How team at PC world and it seems to be since it came back I now cannot open iTunes. I have also tried to search for iTunes in the search bar, I can see several files, but can't seem to open any of these either. I think that quicktime isn't working, either.
I have over 4000 songs in iTunes that I had recorded from my collectiong of CD's am going to loose all these now? Can anyone help, with very easy instructions as I really don't know what I am doing??

I would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

You mean you can't get to the Summary pane?
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

My ipod touch no longer finds my location via my router after ios 5 update

After I updated my ipod touch to ios5 it can no longer find my location when its on wifi using my airport express router . It has no problem when I'm using another router in another physical location... it finds its location perfectly. Only has a problem using my router at on home on my wifi network. I've seen posts online about this problem but no clear solutions. I've tried re-setting both devices as well as registering the router on skyhook but to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas about how to work around this.

- Apple no longer uses Skyhook. They have their own database and they update it from data they optain via iPhones. No one has found a way to tell Apple to add or update a router location.
- Power off and then back on the router.
- Reset networks settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Of course iTunes is looking for the music on the external HDD. Enabling iTunes Match does not magically change the location of the iTunes library to the cloud.
To play the music either plug the external HDD back into your computer or create a new, empty library to use for streaming the iTM content. The latter can be accomplished by holding down the Option key when launching iTunes, choosing "create library" then enabling iTunes Match on the new library. DO NOT have iTunes scan your HDD for music.

Turn of the MG and unplug the power cord. Leave it off for about a minute and then reconnect the power cord and turn the power back on. Wait while the device attempts to reconnect to your wireless network - the blue wifi symbol on the MG will flash and then stay on once it has connected. If it keeps flashing then you will have to reconnect the MG to your wireless access point via the control panel on the MG.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

How can I get my iPhoto library to show back up the simple way when I want to attach photos? I've been having this problem attaching photos in hotmail or yahoo.

It should be an attachment. Your Mac just displays a preview of certain attachments (such as .pdfs) in the body of the message. A PC, for example, will see it as an attached file rather than a preview.
You can save the attachment on your Mac by Control-clicking on it and selecting Save Attachment.

I can no longer find iTunes on my PC and can't find where to download a new copy. I used to be able to sync with my computer, but since the introduction of icloud I no longer get the itunes app for syncing when I plug my phone into my PC. I only have 25 songs accessible through my iphone, but have hundreds on my computer. I would like to know how to be able to access that music from my iphone or ipad
