Execute procedure error (Native SQL)

Hi experts,
I create a procedure
  EXEC SQL.
    create or replace procedure update_zsmadiprinc
    is begin
                          ( p_codigo         in  number(5),
                            p_ano            in  varchar2(4),
                            p_doc_vlr_princ in  varchar2(10)
                            p_subrc       out number ) is begin
      update T_INTERF_RESSARC_FORNEC_R3
      set   ano_doc              = p_ano,
            NUM_DOC_VALOR_PRINC  = p_doc_vlr_princ,
      where cod_interf_ressarc_fornec_r3 = p_codigo;
      if sql%found then
        p_subrc := 0;
      else
        p_subrc := 4;
      end if;
    end;
  ENDEXEC.
and execute it
  EXEC SQL.
    execute procedure update_zsmadiprinc
                     (in  :wa-cod_interf,
                      in  :wa-ano_doc,
                      in  :wa-num_doc_valor_princ,
                      out :vg_subrc)
  ENDEXEC.
But when i execute the procedure, shows dump error:
Database error text........: "ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:#PLS-00905: object
UPDATE_ZSMADIPRINC is invalid#ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:#PL/SQL:
Statement ignored#"
Triggering SQL statement...: "CLOSE "
Internal call code.........: "[DBDS/NEW DSQL]"
Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
I comment all source, and the error is the same.
When i create the procedure, no erros are show.
I changed the name of the procedure, the type of parameters, and now i comment all and the error always is the same!!!! Can you help me!!! I need to finish this urgently!

    ok im i doing this the correct wayFirst, do the create or replace command, let the procedure be compiled. Then when you get the SQL prompt back, do a SHOW ERRORS to ensure everything is correct.
    Then at the SQL prompt do the execute statement.
    At each step, note any errors and post the complete error stack as displayed on the screen here.

  • 'Execute Procedure' Error

    I am using jdbc sender adapter and executing the procedure as:
    "EXECUTE xyz;"
    (The backend is DB2)
    and the SQL Execption thrown is:
    [SQL0104] Token is not valid.
    Need Help.
    Gaurav

    hi,
    1. this can be caused by wrong sql statement
    2. use parameter: logSQLStatement from SAP note: 801367
    to check the real sql query that you're sending to jdbc adapter
    and you will see the error inside - maybe you data type is not correct
    or something but you will see it this way

  • Execute procedure in pl/sql button event handler

    i have a demo application which consists of text boxes

    you have to use

    document.all("FORMNAME.DEFAULT.ATTRIBUTENAME.01").value="'||LOC1||'";

  • Error while executing a procedure in pl/sql

    Hi,
    iam execvuting a procedure in pl/sql and i get the following error,
    proc Running: Wed Sep 7 06:13:20 IST 2005
    Table truncated.
    BEGIN <procedure_name> ; END;
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 75 with name "RBS74" too
    small
    ORA-06512: at "<procedure_name>", line 104
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    could anyone explain what has gone wrong in this case???

    According to the documentation:
    ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number string with name "string" too small
    Cause: Rollback records needed by a reader for consistent read are overwritten by other writers.
    Action: If in Automatic Undo Management mode, increase the setting of UNDO_RETENTION. Otherwise, use larger rollback segments.
    Error: ORA-01555: snapshot too old (rollback segment too small)
    Cause: This error can be caused by one of the problems, as described below.
    Action: The options to resolve this Oracle error are:
    This error can be the result of there being insufficient rollback segments.
    A query may not be able to create the snapshot because the rollback data is not available. This can happen when there are many transactions that are modifying data, and performing commits and rollbacks. Rollback data is overwritten when the rollback segments are too small for the size and number of changes that are being performed.
    To correct this problem, make more larger rollback segments available. Your rollback data for completed transactions will be kept longer.
    This error can be the result of programs not closing cursors after repeated FETCH and UPDATE statements.
    To correct this problem, make sure that you are closing cursors when you no longer require them.
    This error can occur if a FETCH is executed after a COMMIT is issued.
    The number of rollback records created since the last CLOSE of your cursor will fill the rollback segments and you will begin overwriting earlier records.

  • Return code for EXECUTE PROCEDURE (native SQL)

    Hi Experts,
    I've seen in the Note 364707 that the field %_ERRCODE is no longer supported since WAS 6.10 for stored procedures like this:
    EXEC SQL.
      EXECUTE PROCEDURE proc [(parameter list)] %_ERRCODE INTO :rc
    ENDEXEC.
    So an Upgrade to WAS 7.00 gives this programms an error.
    Has anybody an idea for an alternative?
    Regards,
    Stefan

    Hello Peluka,
    i have seen you have worked with 'execute procedure'.
    I want to execute a procedure with two Parameters and one structure. Example:
    EXECUTE PROCEDURE test.p_getdata ( in :i_ls_nr , in :vdatum , out :vtest ).
    vtest has the simple structure with field lieferscheinnr (char25).
    When i execute the procedure, i get the error <b>wrong number or types of arguments in call</b>.
    Do you know, whether execute procedure with structures is not possible?
    Thank you in advance.

  • While running the livecache server test a native sql error occures

    We are using scm4.1 livecache 7.5.0 And every time we are running the livecache test program he is dumping
    whith the following dump
    patch level scm & scm_basis is 8
    Runtime Errors         DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR
    Except.                CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR
    Date and Time          31.10.2005 16:50:55
    ShrtText
    An SQL error occurred when executing Native SQL.
    What happened?
    Error 600 occurred in the current database connection "LCA".
    What can you do?
    Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
    and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
    error.
    To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
    You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
    termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
    date.
    is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
    How to correct the error
    Database error text........: "Work rolled back: DbpError -28814 in
    APS_ORDER_CH"
    Database error code .......: 600
    Triggering SQL statement...: " ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
    ? ? ? ? ? ? ? or'"
    Internal call code.........: "[DBDS/NEW DSQL]"
    Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
    You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
    in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    "DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR" CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERRORC
    "/SAPAPO/SAPLOM_PLANNING" or "/SAPAPO/LOM_PLANNINGU08"
    "/SAPAPO/OM_ORDER_CHANGE"
    If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
    an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
    1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
    To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
    Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    2. A suitable printout of the system log
    To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
    Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
    after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
    "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
    supply the source code.
    To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
    Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
    or which actions and input led to the error.
    The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
    "/SAPAPO/OM_ORDER_CHANGE"
    "(FUNCTION)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
    To prevent the exception, note the following:

    Hi,
    the error DbpError -28814 denotes that an object cannot be found.
    Can you maybe tell me your exact liveCache version (incl. Build level) and LCA Build?
    Additionally, please copy the relevant error information from the file (/sapdb/data/wrk/<SID>/)knldiag.err into this thread.
    Which exact 'liveCache test program' are your referring to (which of the /SAPAPO/... transactions)?
    Kind regards,
    Roland

  • Need Help : Native SQL ABAP dump "DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR" on procedure "APS_ORDER_CHANGE".

    Hi All,
    We are facing an issue and want to check if you have seen it in past and can help us in resolving it. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
    Issue:
    While executing product heuristic on few product/location combinations in product view, we encounter native SQL ABAP dump “DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR” on
    procedure “APS_ORDER_CHANGE”.
    We were debugging for one particular product/location combination, this combination has 2 planned orders, and the Internal order number of these planned orders are
    given as input to this procedure “APS_ORDER_CHANGE”. These 2 internal order numbers are the only inputs given to this procedure.
    When we try to delete those planned orders we again encounter same ABAP dump. There are many product/location having the same issue.
    We also checked variable duration maintained on the PPM of this product/location, and was fine.
    For more deatils : Please check the attached document of downloaded ABAP Dump.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pritesh Jain

    Hi Pritesh.
    What liveCache version/build/patch are you on? What is the database error text shown in this dump?
    If it is exactly the one below
    Database error text........: "POS(1) Work rolled back: tExcept 30730 in
    APS_ORDER_CHAN"
    You can try running report SLCA_EMERGENCY_SWITCH, then turning off the option "Verify that all input table records have been read" and saving the results. If that solves the issue, you can use this as a workaround until the next time you upgrade your liveCache build.
    To get a clear root cause, you may need to create an OSS incident under BC-DB-LCA component providing a reproducible example.

    Tiago

  • How to execute procedure in SQL Worksheet ?

    Hi, anybody know, how I can execute procedure here?
    I try EXEC sec_roles, EXEC security_admin.sec_roles, EXECUTE - there is a SQL statement error. When I use CALL - there is no such procedure (I have execute previleges).
    Although in SQLPlus EXEC works, but there are problems with standard SQL commands (all of them returns "2" no matter what content is).
    Any ideas?
    Regards
    Krzysztof

    exec procedure(parameters) is a sql plus (and a few others) shortcut for
    BEGIN
       procedure(parameters);
    END;So try that then pressing/clicking whatever it is in sql worksheet that makes a statement run.
    Note that if your procedure has parameters defined as OUT or IN OUT, you will need to supply a variable to accept the returned value(s).

    Hi Suma,
    Post the SQL you success run directly on Studio together with error message (even if is the Invalid column index error).
    Check there if the parameters case is working properly... Is it really this confusing options:
    p_GJAHR
    S_BUKRS
    p_base_ledger
    Why not all lower or all upper? Anyhow you must test and find which option works according your modeling

  • While executing procedure it is giving Error in the TT IMD

    Hi Chris,
    Main User Cacheuser (Cache Admin User)
    Other User Interchange (TimesTen User - Same name as Oracle 11g Database User)
    Normally we are connecting through cacheuser to create any objects in the Interchange user.
    I have created procedure in the Interchange user from cacheuser cache admin user.
    Procedure is created in the Interchange user. but when i am executing that same procedure in the cacheuser user
    -- Pl/Sql block executing from cacheuser
    declare
    sOutPut varchar2(4000);
    begin
    interchange.#procedurename# ('123456', sOutPut);
    end;
    After executing we are getting error:
    failed,[TimesTen][TimesTen 11.2.1.3.0 ODBC Driver][TimesTen]TT5227: Insufficient privileges error occurred while performing an Oracle operation in OCIStmtExecute(): ORA-01031: insufficient privileges rc = -1. -- file "bdbStmt.c", lineno 3868, procedure "ttBDbStmtExecute()"
    then we have issued following command for privilege, but still it is coming same error.
    grant execute on interchange."procedurename" to cacheuser;

    Hi Chris,
    Previously PassThrough=1 (we have kept this parameter to access oracle objects from TT IMD) it was there in our sys_odbc.ini file, but after that we have created procedure in the TimesTen and also created all objects related to that procedure in the TimesTen database. and due to that we have removed passthrough entry from sys_odbc.ini file because all object we created in the TimesTen database.
    Purpose of creating all objects related to that procedure in the TimesTen database was we tried to compiled procedure in the TimesTen IMD and the some obejcts inside procedure refered from Oracle 11G database that time it was shown error "table does not exist".
    Note : That time PassThrough parameter set was "1".+
    Currently we are executing procedure through TimesTen Database only. we have not yet checked through application.
    Can i have list of passthrough and the purpose of the same.

    Hi,
    Yes, I am connecting to user A of DB1 and in this user I am having procedure X in Package Y. My DBLink in Schema B of DB2 is pointing to user A of DB1.
    I have created DBLINK using below script:
    create public database link abc
    connect to A
    identified by A
    using '(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=XXX)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(service_name=XXX)))';
    Above DBLInk is working fine..I am able to access all the table of schema A in schema B using this DBLink. But when I trying to execute any procedre of schema A in schema B then i am getting error.
