EXIT from Program

Hi
I have to exit the entire program if an internal table contains 0 records.
Can I use the EXIT statement for this purpose?
Like....
if itab[] is initial.
   exit.
else.
endif.

Hi,
start-of-selection.
fill itab.
if itab[] is initial.
message ...
exit.
endif.
end-of-selection.

Do you have any third party plug-ins installed? That's the most usual cause for this. If so, check with the developers to see if there's an updated plug-in available.

  • After sorting photos into albums, the albums disappeared on me. I dragged and dropped the photos and went back to check that they were in place before exiting the program. When I went back, the folder was there but no albums. Help!

Working on an IMac - with IPhoto v.9.6
This is my first experience with IPhoto... trying to move files from a PC over to a Mac.
I don't have a ton of photos but I created about 6 albums - standard albums - and dragged and dropped individual photos into each of the albums. I named each of the albums as well so I would know what was in each. After i was finished, I created a folder called 2014 and moved each of the albums into that folder. Before moving ANY of the albums, I opened each of them up to make sure that all the photos I wanted in each were indeed there - and since there were some errors on my part, I deleted any duplicates first. SO, I KNOW the photos were actually in each of the albums BEFORE i moved them into the 2014 folder.
My intention was to then delete the photo files in my document file but once I got there I thought I would go back and double check the IPhoto file just to make sure... and the pictures were NOT in the albums where I had placed them... is there a need to save this before you move on and if so, to where and how? I was under the impression that once files were moved to albums, they remain there.
The photos are still in the photo library but unsorted now again... I cannot even open the 2014 folder at this point.
    Thanks for any help!!

Was back on IPhoto this morning. The folder did not open at all so I deleted it. Beside Albums, nothing showed at all. It was like I had done no work at all except to import my photo folder. Nothing was in my trash bin either.
I started again and created one album at a time. I dragged and dropped photos into the album and exited out of IPhoto, opened up other programs and then returned to IPhoto to see if the album was still there and it was this time. I created a second album and did the same thing. This time, for some reason, the albums seem to be staying in place. I am not doing anything differently than last time. After creating three albums, I created a folder called 2014 and dragged and dropped the three albums into the folder and exited IPhoto. They were still there when I returned - YEAH! It seems to be working - for now! I am keeping my fingers crossed that my photos are not going to disappear but I am not going to delete my photo folder from my files just in case!
Thanks for the suggestions but this may just have been a funny glitch... not sure what happened. I didn't change anything or do anything differently this time except that I am doing it one album at a time and exiting the program between creating each of them and coming back to check... very strange.

  • Hi when i use treeMap class and if i exit the program

    hi
hi when i use treeMap class and if i exit the program,
what will happen? the information that i put in the treeMap will be disappear??
if it is like that,,how am i able to retrieve my data...when i restart my program..
once i put ID as key and put my customer information,
in it, after exit my program,, and i can't find
my customers by their ID,,,,,,,,,how can,,i solve it......

what will happen? the information that i put in the
treeMap will be disappear??Yes. Of course. If you want data to hang around you have to tell the computer. If you want anything to happen you have to tell the computer.
if it is like that,,how am i able to retrieve my
data...when i restart my program..Tada! Tell the computer. Your simplest option is to use Serialization.
Before exiting your program, serialize your TreeMap to disk. After starting your program serialize your TreeMap from disk.
First stop should be your text book to learn what Serialization is and how it works, then try to write some code, then ask us to help with any problems.

  • Exiting from a function module.

    Hi,
I have a function module in which i am extracting output message from NAST based on vbeln.
I record is not found, then i am updating return table with error message using 'MESSAGE_TEXT_BUILD'.
Now i have to exit from the function module as my select statement is unsuccessful.
    how do you do this?
can i use subroutines in a function module?
    thanks,
    Sandeep

    Hi Sandeep,
You can use EXIT statement to exit out of the FM.
Yes, you can use sub-routines in Function Module. If you are using EXIT inside a sub-routine, the program control will come out of sub-routine and not the FM> So if it is inside a sub-routine, return sy-subrc value as a parameter of the sub-routine. Outside the sub-routine, check the value and use EXIT statement accordingly.
    Best Regards,
    Ram.

  • How to exit from an update Function Module

    Hi Friends,
I am using an Update Function Module in my program. The Program also has various other logics implemented in it. The Update Function Module gets triggered only when it finds COMMIT WORK statement. Now, I want that when the FM gets triggered and inside it, sy-subrc <> 0 at any stage, it should exit the complete processing and come to my main screen.
I tried to use Exit, STOP commands in the FM, but they only make the processing to exit from the FM.
Please suggest what shud I do.
Helpful suggestions will be surely rewarded.
    Thanks in advance.

    hi hemansu,
after coming out from function module check value of sy-subrc
    and
    if sy-subrc ne 0
exit.  or leave to screen 0 [module pool progarm] or stop.
    endif.
    if helpful reward some points.

  • To exit from the while(1) loop

    Hi all ,
I have a simple question that if in a callback function of a command button, i use a While(bLoop)
loop , where bLoop is a boolean variable initially set to TRUE, then how can i break or exit from this while Loop by using a control on the front panel  , which exits the while loop by setting     bLoop = FALSE .
I have tried it but it is not exiting
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

The problem here is that CVI normally only executes one callback at a time. While you are in one control callback, no GUI processing and subsequent calls to other callbacks normally occurs.
You can try the following approach - but it is not really the best method:
        while (b_loop) {              // Inside a callback
...                       // Perform your tight program loop
ProcessSystemEvents ();   // Force CVI to see if any GUI controls need servicing
If you have a different control callback to clear the global b_loop, this quick-and-dirty approach might work for you.
You should only use this technique for very simple programs - it can rapidly spiral out of control and end up in a mess if you're not careful. NI recommends that you do not use ProcessSystemEvents() inside a control callback.

  • Accessing the Logon User Exit from the Internet using an ITS Service

I can access the Logon User Exit (EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001) from R/3, but not from the Web using an ITS service. What am I missing in order to access the Logon User Exit from the Web. The ITS service was created from an ABAP screen program.
    Thanks
    david yee

The SAPGui logon exit is called after successfull authentication has been completed and after a SAPGui session has been attached.
If you logon via RFC, WebGui, ICM or the Wgate then this exit does not trigger.
What are you wanting to add to your code after the logon ?
An solution I have used is to create a wrapper RFC for a BAPI and create a webservice for the wrapper. Before calling the BAPI you can do whatever you want to from a security perspective.
But for that you need to have an appropriate BAPI...
Please explain what you want to do and what you would have wanted in the exit. Often there is a better way.
    Cheers,
    Julius
ps: I moved this to the security forum.

  • Exit from loop by user

    Hi every body
i have a procedure that execute a loop. What i want that to allow user to exit from loop before it finished(by using keyboard), i do that by pressing ctrl+alt+del which end the program it self.

One could try putting the call to the procedure in a loop on the front end. Then check within the loop (in the front end ) whether the user has pressed a pre-defined button. If pressed, one could disconnect the connection or take some similar action that would stop processing the call to the stored procedure.
May be something like this is workable ... ?

  • Takes time to exit from Maps 3

    Hello,
    I'm using Maps 3 on my E71.
When I select exit from the menu it takes between 10 to 30 seconds (different each time) for the program to close, meanwhile by the way it continue to work normaly. It wasn't like this from the begining and I don't know why it started.
    Thanks.

It has always been the same with my E71 and Maps. The GPS fix takes some time to disengage. No big issue.
