Export class files?

Hi
I have a class file but not the .java file. Is there a way to uncompile the class file so I can rebuild the class?

There are things called "Java decompilers" that can often do that. (Those two words are your search engine keywords.) Sometimes people will obfuscate their class files to prevent that from happening. But if you just screwed up and erased your source code (like I did once) then a decompiler shouldn't have much of a problem.

  • 8.1.7 LoadJava. Where do the class files get Stored

I am using an 8.1.7 Database. I have class files in my database that were loaded using loadjava. I want to extract these class files to do a binary comparison. Does anyone know where a users schema the actual class files are stored. In 9i i believe that they are stored in CREATE$JAVA$LOB$TABLE but they aren't stored there in my 8.1.7 database. Where should i be looking in an 8.1.7 database???
    Cheers
    Paul

found a solution. In case it is of interest to anyone, using enterprise manager from a 9i client, connected to my 8.1.7 database, and under, schema--> user-->source types--> java classes. for each class, select the class and there is an option to export the class on the RHS. Selecting this, can export class files to hard drive.

  • How to convert class file

Hi all, I am new in java card development.
    This is my environment setting:
    @echo off
    set JC_HOME=C:\JavaCard\java_card_kit-2_2
    set JAVA_HOME=C:\j2sdk14103
    set PATH=.;%JC_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
I have created the Wallet applet according to 'Zhiqun Chen" text book and named it WalletApp.java.
I have compiled this file to a class file.
This is where is I saved my file
    C:\JavaCard\java_card_kit-2_2\samples\src\com\sun\javacard\samples\WalletApp\WalletApp.java.
But I don't really understand how to convert the class file.
May I know what is this for?
    -out EXP JCA CAP
    -exportpath

I tried to type in the command line below (and the result):

  • How can i convert  Javscript file to Java class file...?

As has been mentioned Adobe Reader cannot export PDF page content. Nor can it create PDF or manipulate PDF page content.
What you can do is use one of Adobe's online subscription services. Two provide for PDF  to Word export.
    There's ExportPDF and PDF Pack.

  • "Export classes in frame x" in AS3: how does it work?

    My steps:
    1. I have some beefy classes
    2. I want my SWF to show a preload anim while it loads these
    classes
    3. Using the "Export classes in frame: " option, I move my
    classes to frame 10
    4. I put a stop(); on the first frame and test w/ the
    bandwidth profiler visible.
    Desired + expected behavior:
    1. My preloader spins, and I have minimal K on the first
frame and then the main hit on the chosen export frame.
    Observed behavior:
    1. all of my classes are available on the first frame (ala,
all of my logic can be performed on the first frame, even though
the framehead is sitting firmly on frame 1)
    2. there is still a spike in K on the output frame
    Notes:
    - am I just missing the point here? Is this how it always
    worked?
    - why is the Document Class available in the first frame? Is
this mandatory w/ the new structure?

  • How to save library symbols' class files in packages that are not the default package?

    Hi,
I perform the following in Flash CS5 with Flash Builder 4
    1) Create a new library symbol.
    2) Do a RightClick->Properties on the new symbol
    3) Check the options for "Export for ActionScript" and "Export in frame 1".
    4) I write a new name for my class "Class1" and click on the pencil icon "edit class definition" to edit the class.
At this point my FlashBuilder 4 takes over and opens the "New ActionScript" dialog.
    4) I then click on Package-Browse to select a package e.g. com.mycompany.myfiles as the new class destination.
The as file is created as com.mycompany.myfiles/Class1.as as everything seems just fine.
    5) I close the ActionScript file and back in Flash CS5 I RightClick on the symbol and select "Edit Class".
At this time, FB4 suggests again to create the file, ignoring the fact that I already created it before.
Do you know of a way I can make Flash CS5 remember where I created the file?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I didn't remove the project or delete any of the files.
All I did was create the class file under a package that is not the default package. Then when I clicked on the Flash symbol's "Edit Class" It asked me again to create the same class file.
Only if I create the class in the default package, it won't ask me to recreate it again.

  • *Added* code to existing source file, compiled it, and class file shrunk

Another newbie here. Fortunately, my classpath is ok, so I'm able to compile a .java file.
I added one line of code (System.out.println) to write the value of a variable to a log. After compiling with javac, I noticed that the resulting [new] class file was smaller than the existing class file. I looked at each of the class files with Textpad. It's gibberish, but I quickly saw that a large block of code was missing in the new class file, even though the size of the source file had been increased.
There is a difference, however, between how the two class files were created. The existing class file was compiled (along with many others) by exporting an .EAR file from a development environment (WSAD) to the WebSphere Administrator Console. Conversely, I am now compiling the same source file with javac on my machine.
I suspect that this is the reason why I can add code to a .java file, compile it, and have the resulting class file actually lose code. Even if I am correct, I don't know what to do about it.
    Does anyone have an idea?
    Regards,
    Daniel T.

Thank you both for your replies. I've read many posts over the past few months, and I know how important it is to provide as much info as possible, when asking a question here. That said, I have another tasty tidbit...
After replacing the existing (larger) class file with the new (smaller) class file, my application now produces this:
"*Error 500: LinkageError while defining class*..." [name of class]
*"...(Unsupported major.minor version 50.0) This is often caused by having a class defined at multiple locations within the classloader hierarchy. Other potential causes include compiling against an older or newer version of the class that has an incompatible method signature. Dumping the current context classloader hierarchy: ==> indicates defining classloader ==>[0] com.ibm.ws.classloader.CompoundClassLoader@6bd156d5 Local ClassPath:"*
    ...[the entire classpath]...
    Original exception--- java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:
I'm guessing that my focus should mostly be on the 'Original exception', and maybe I need to revisit the JRE or JDK or JVM (these terms are somewhat nebulous to me, so please forgive me using them interchangeably) on my machine. For now, I'll just keep trying stuff. Thanks again for the replies!

    Hi,
I did not mean file object. I meant workbook object. The problem is that I can not see from your code how do you get that OLE object reference. It should be something like this
    GET PROPERTY OF h_excel 'ActiveWorkbook' = h_workbook.
    CALL METHOD OF h_workbook 'SAVEAS' EXPORTING #1 = l_file

My requirement here is too change existing java mapping. Here I am exporting zip file from imported archive and after making changes in eclipse upload the .JAR file again. Here .class file is not opening after upload in Imported Archive.
    Error is
Setup I am having on my system.
-> JDK version on my system JDK 1.6_34
-> JRE on my system – JRE 6
    -> Using eclipse SDK 4.2.2
    SAP PI servers settings.
I searched online blogs but no help. Can anybody guide me what wrong am I doing here?
    Thanks.
    Sumeet.

    Thanks for reply..Hareesh.
-> In Eclipse only 1 warning is coming and no error. I guess Eclipse automatically compile .class file. Is there any way in eclipse to see if compilation is done properly?
-> I imported few external JAR files and already few JAR files are there in Eclipse(JRE1.6), as shown in fig below. Which JAR file is being user? How can I make sure?
-> When using Run as option I am not getting any option. Is it normal or did I have to activate some option?
Please give your views on this.
    Thanks.
    Sumeet.

  • Some lib include Export Class,i use dependency tool to view this lib,how to know function's define

    sample:?Polaris_Measure@CCBjxguance@@QAA_NPBG0@Z
i know CCBjxguance is export class,Polaris_Measure is class's function,@@QAA_NPBG0@Z  is params and return value, but @@QAA_NPBG0@Z mean ? which data type ?

So I take it that you have a .dll file but you do not have headers for it? Then finding out the params and return type won't help you much anyway.
That's a member function, to be able to use it you need an instance of that class. And to obtain an instance of that class you need to know the full definition of that class, including its member variables. Member variables aren't exported so you have no
way of knowing those, short of reverse engineering the .dll code.
Anyway, the full declaration of that function is:
public: bool __cdecl CCBjxguance::Polaris_Measure(unsigned short const *,unsigned short const *)
This can be obtained by using the undname utility from a VS command prompt:
    undname "?Polaris_Measure@CCBjxguance@@QAA_NPBG0@Z"

  • Howto resolve the path to the class file

    hi @ all,
i'm currently developing a package for ldap operations. now i want to write down all the real basic configuration for that package into a xml file which i want to save in the folder where the compiled class files are stored. my problem is that i do not know how i can resolve the absolute path to that xml file later. i mean, how can i load this file if the package is, e.g. exported as an jar file and i do not know where this jar file will be stored by the users of my package.
can anyone help me with that please?
    thx in advance
    dialsc

    k, cool...
looks like it goes into the right direction.
with this statement i get the path where the jar is stored, right.
in my current situation this is the path to the src directory which i configured my eclipse ide to store the class files under.
let's say this path is d:\tmp\src
    my package is tdl.domain.utils.ldap
so in fact at the moment my class files are stored under d:\tmp\src\tdl\domain\utils\ldap and the xml file too.
    first:
    that statement returns /D:/tmp/src
as you can see it uses unix path separators. do i have to replace them with the machine specific pathSeparatorChar?
    second:
can is simply add the path tdl\domain\utils\ldap to that one (using the according machine specific pathSeparatorChar) and will this also work when i build a jar file of my package?
sorry for all that questions but i realy need this...
    thx

  • Export indd file to Snippets [VBS]

Hello all i'm trying to modify an existing script that Exports indd files to pdf's. it goes through all the indd file and createsa pdf one page at a time and workds fine. However in converting it to do the same but convert to Snippet files  i'm having problems with the "idExportFormat.idInDesignSnippet" class and memebers  when i try somthing like
    myFilePath = myFolderName & "\" & myPageName & "_" & myBaseName & ".inds"
    myDocument.Export idExportFormat.idInDesignSnippet, myFilePath, False
I get an "The Specified object to does support the desired export format." error # 25398
if i remove the  ",myflePath, False" then i get a "Missing required parameter 'To' for export event".
The really anying this is if i change that to a
    myFilePath = myFolderName & "\" & myPageName & "_" & myBaseName & ".xml"
    myDocument.Export idExportFormat.idXML, myFilePath, False
    it works fine..
So there is somthing missing for the snippet export.

I've broken the problem down and started as small as possible.
To do the same thing but to export each page as a jpg's i can use the following script
    Set myInDesign = CreateObject("InDesign.Application.CS3")
    myFile = "c:\myTestFile.jpg"
    myInDesign.ActiveDocument.Export idExportFormat.idJpg, myFile, False
If i change that round a abit to customize it to export as inds snippets i would get
    Set myInDesign = CreateObject("InDesign.Application.CS3")
    myFile = "c:\myTestFile.inds"
    myInDesign.ActiveDocument.Export idExportFormat.idInDesignSnippet, myFile, False
This produces the following error " The specified object does not support the desired export format"  - Line 3
This is because the object i am speifiying is "ActiveDocument" which when selected (manually) cannot be exported as a Snippet.
What I need to do is cycle trough my pages selecting Texframes of which they are multiple on each page and export them as Snippets.
    Can anyone help please?
