Export error on oracle 7.2.3
Hi all,
I'm trying to ecport an oracle owner with
EXP system/manager OWNER=XXX file=/XXX/xxxx.dmp
and the result is the error below:
EXP-00028: failed to open /XXX/xxxx.dmp from write
EXP-00222:
Where is the error??
tahnk's
pedro
grazie
pedro

Export error in Oracle Applications 11.03
I am having trouble exporting fields out of Oracle Applications. I get an error saying failed command. Any ideas on how to fix? This wouldn't be related to IE version or service pack or OS would it??? Some workstations can while others cannot.
you better to check the codes first, it looks like the code first check the OS, then call the related code to export.

kedarYes, you are in the wrong forum, but it sounds like you have your environment variable (or registry entry) for ORA_NLS33 pointing at the wrong directory.

Database is either in the process of being brought up and you have to wait till startup process completes or database is being brought down and you have to wait till it will be started up next time. In both cases contact your DBA to coordinate SQL*Loader job with scheduled database startups/shutdowns.

Error installing Oracle 9.02.0.1 on Linux
I'm trying, without success, install Oracle on my personal computer (a stand-alone pc). I'm a beginning on Linux.
When I run the runInstaller file, this occurs:

REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit twice
Hi,
When I call reports from the web i get the
REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit
error message twice.
I am reading from the forum related to the same issue, everyone saying its related to environment variable DISPLAY.
DISPALY=localhost:12.0 is already set on Sun Solaris before starting the report60_server script to start/stop oracle 6i report server.
Through secure shell client, I logged on to the Solaris server and trying to stop and start the report6i server and trying to run the reports from the IE browser through Apache webserver.
Thanks in advance,
UshaDISPALY=localhost:12.0 is already set on Sun SolarisSimply setting DISPLAY in the current shell won't help. The variable must be exported.
On csh:
setenv DISPLAY 'localhost:12.0'
On sh:
DISPLAY='localhost:12.0'
export DISPLAY
In either case, it can be verified:
env | grep DISPLAY

============================================
PURPOSE
============
- Direct
- where 절에 해당하는 export utility는 query parameter 를 사용한다.
UNIX syntax:
- Example:
1.SCOTT.Emp table의 ename 이 JAME과 비슷한 이름의 data 를 export ..
exp scott/tiger query=\"where ename like \'JAME%\'\" tables=emp file=exp.dmp log=exp.log
2. employee와 cust table에서 new york 주의 data 만 export ..
exp scott/tiger query=\"where st=\'NY\'\" tables=(employee,cust) file=exp.dmp log=exp.log
예)query=\"where JOB = \'SALESMAN\' and salary \< 1600\"
tables=emp query="where job='SALESMAN'"
[rmtdchp6]/apac/rdbms/64bit/app/oracle/product/9.2.0> exp scott/tiger parfile=p

exp scott/tiger tables=emp query="where job='SALESMAN'"
LRM-00101: unknown parameter name 'job'
EXP-00019: failed to process parameters, type 'EXP HELP=Y' for help
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
1>exp scott/tiger tables=emp query=\'where deptno=20\'
Export: Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production on Wed Mar 17 00:22:00 2004

LRM-00112: multiple values not allowed for parameter 'query'
EXP-00019: failed to process parameters, type 'EXP HELP=Y' for help
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully
query=\'where deptno = 20\'
query=\"where deptno = 20\"
query=\'where deptno \< 2\'
query='where deptno = 20'
query="where deptno = 20"
query='where deptno < 20'
WINDOWS NT / 2000 와 NETWARE syntax:
Example:
EXP demo/demo tables=emp file=exp1.dmp query="""where deptno>30"""
file=exp66.dmp
query="where deptno > 20"
tables=(emp)
log=log66.txt
userid=scott/tiger
Explanation
Windows NT or Win2000의 경우 command line에서는 3 double quotes 이 필요하고
