Export .folio file without a subscription account

is it possible to access or export my .folio file?
my "app" is merely a private thing, and i do not wish to publish it through the app store. i just want the zip file.
possible?

The Product ID doesn't matter for free folios. It only matters if you'll charge money for the folio at some point. We recommend the "reverse DNS" naming approach: com.publisher.magazine.issuename, such as com.adobe.indesignweekly.2012january.
Why do you want the .zip file? That's useful only for creating Single Edition viewers.

  • Exporting .folio file?

    Hello forums,
    I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but I would like to know how to create a .folio file.
    I can access a Folio Preview under the File tab in my InDesignCS5 and it looks great, however I have no option to export for this type of file.
    I did some research but have come up with no solution.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

    There are prerelease tools and newer tools that are going to require a paid subscription.
    I take it you just downloaded the new tools.
    If that's the case the content viewer on the iPad won't work for you until the next version is approved by Apple.

  • Export Dump File without defined VPD policies

    Hi there,
    Can some one help me on this problem ?
    I've some tables with vpd policies defined on them. When I export these tables the dump file puts some instructions related to these policies such as:
    EXECUTE DBMS_RLS.ADD_GROUPED_POLICY(sys_context('userenv','current_schema'),'"TABLE1"','SYS_DEFAULT','POLICY1','MD','ACESS1','SELECT,UPDATE,DELETE',FALSE,TRUE,TRUE);
    Then when I try to import those tables, I'm getting some problems with that if I don't have those policies/functions created (which is the case).
    So,
    how can I export tables without those instructions ?
    Or
    how can I prevent the execution of those lines during import task ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Helena

    In both (export and import) cases the policy could also be disabled for the duration export and import.

  • Quicktime won't export my file without a watermark

    I am trying to convert a wmv file into swf. I have flash and the flash video utility. But I can't bring a wmv file into flash; it has to be converted to something else first. I upgraded to Quicktime Pro today in order to do this part of it, but when I try to export it to a .mov file, I get a message from a completely different program saying I have to purchase the 'flip4mac player' before Quicktime will export without the watermark. Does quicktime not open wmv files? Why is this other program getting involved?
    thanks for any help. I hate to have to buy two programs just to do a conversion.

    http://flip4mac.com
    You must purchase one of the upgrades to export to WMP formats. Right now you're using the "trial" version of the third party component.

  • How to export war files without including the library files

    Hi,
    I have several portlets that share the same jar files. In my tomcat, I'd like to load those jar files from shared/lib when tomcat starts up. Currently, to accomplish this, I export the war file from jsc, deploy to tomcat, then manually delete the jar files from WEB-INF/lib.
    Is there a way I can modify some property file so that my war file does not include the shared libraries?
    Thanks,
    Marc

    Hi!
    Rightclick project's root node in Projects window and select Properties. Then go to Build->Packaging and remove unnecessary libraries.
    Thanks,

  • Export or package a DPS folio file to a html format

    Can you export or package a DPS folio file to a html format, packed with all of the images? Thank you for letting me know

    Thank you for letting me know Neil. Is it possible to export the DPS Folio File to any other format than .folio, which could be accessible for someone who doesn't have InDesign or an Adobe account?

  • How can I export a .folio file?

    This is kind of dumb but I cannot find how to export a .folio file. There's nothing on the web about  how to use the desktop tools for that. Help please.

    Hi Bob,
    It depends what you are trying to achieve.
    From what I understand you share a folio in order for another person to view the app using Adobe Content Viewer on an iPad. However, you export a .folio file if you want to send this to people and view it using Adobe Content Viewer on a desktop (PC or Mac).
    This example instructs you to download Adobe Content Viewer for desktop and download a single .folio file to view the mag on desktop
    http://www.e3zine.com/desktopviewer.html
    We are trying to create a version that Advertisers can view on all platforms. What we have done is created a delegate account and from the folio builder panel, we have shared the specific folio with that delegate and emailed the login credentials to certain advertisers. This allows them to view it using Content viewer on an iPad.
    Now I am trying to export the .folio file in order to send this out to specific people to view using Content Viewer on desktop. In the example above there is a single .folio file but when I use the export function within the Publishing Suite it exports a zip file which contains all articles as individual .folio files. Is there any way of exporting this folio as one single .folio file?
    Thanks
    Dean

  • Link Problems and Exporting the .folio file

    Hello,
    I have a .folio file created from CS6 InDesign. I have done the proper uploading to the Adobe Publishing Suite site and downloading to my iPad. Once downloaded the file works fine. If you quit out of the app or do a full shut down on the iPad the links on only the first page do not work in both orientations. Is there anyone that has any idea why this would happen?
    Also, is there a way to export the file to your desktop and place in on your iPad without going through the Adobe Publishing Suite?
    Thanks in advance.

    Do you have the updated Adobe Content Viewer that was released to iTunes yesterday? We had a bug with hyperlinks in Single Edition apps and the Adobe Content Viewer when release 27 went out.
    If you are on a Mac you can preview directly to your device if it is connected to your machine. See http://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-suite/help/preview-folios-articles.html#use_prev iew_on_device for information on how that works.

  • Export table data in a flat file without using FL

    Hi,
    I am looking for options where I can export table data into a flat file without using FL(File Layout) i.e., by using App Engine only.
    Please share your experience if you did anything as this
    Thanks

    A simple way to export any record (table/view) to an csv fiel, is to create a rowset and loop through all record fields, like below example code
    Local Rowset &RS;
    Local Record &Rec;
    Local File &MYFILE;
    Local string &FileName, &strRecName, &Line, &Seperator, &Value;
    Local number &numRow, &numField;
    &FileName = "c:\temp\test.csv";
    &strRecName = "PSOPRDEFN";
    &Seperator = ";";
    &RS = CreateRowset(@("Record." | &strRecName));
    &RS.Fill();
    &MYFILE = GetFile(&FileName, "W", %FilePath_Absolute);
    If &MYFILE.IsOpen Then
       For &numRow = 1 To &RS.ActiveRowCount
          &Rec = &RS(&numRow).GetRecord(@("RECORD." | &strRecName));
          For &numField = 1 To &Rec.FieldCount
             &Value = String(&Rec.GetField(&numField).Value);
             If &numField = 1 Then
                &Line = &Value;
             Else
                &Line = &Line | &Seperator | &Value;
             End-If;
          End-For;
          &MYFILE.WriteLine(&Line);
       End-For;
    End-If;
    &MYFILE.Close(); You can of course create an application class for generic calling this piece of code.
    Hope it helps.
    Note:
    Do not come complaining to me on performance issues ;)

  • How to export the text edit data to excel file without splitting the data in excel file?

    how to export the text edit data to excel file without splitting the data in excel file?
    I have a requirement in SAP HR where in the appraiser can add comments in the area given and can export that to excel file. Currently the file is getting exported but the comments getting split into deifferent rows.
    I want the entire comment to be fit in one row.
    Please help.
    Thank you

    Hi,
    if your text edit value is stored in 'lv_string' variable.
    then before exporting the value to excel you have to remove CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE
    that is '#' from the variable lv_string.
    for that use code some thing like this.
    REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE in lv_string WITH space.
    I think this will do the trick.

    Excellent stuff!
    I don't know how to get at the adjustments for images, otherwise those could be included as well.
    They are stored as binary data in the Version XML files at the bottom level of the Library package. You can also have a look around in the ZRKIMAGEADJUSTMENT table, but again the actual settings for each adjustment are in binary form.
    If anyone has the energy to clean this up and make it faster, feel free to do so.
    As far as I can remember, Aperture uses the 'proper' IPTC tag names when accessing them via AppleScript, so you may be able to do a loop through all the IPTC tags for each image, rather than picking out each specific one. But that would need checking. The EXIFTools site is a good place to find out about the different ways that IPTC data can be described.
    Next, I'm going to try to write a script to do the opposite, import xmp sidecars for imported online and referenced files.
    Don't rush unless you feel like it - I've already started planning out a free (as in beer and speech) XMP importer with a GUI so that you can choose how to map the XMP CORE tags that don't exist in Aperture. You've given me an extra idea, though - if we can decide on a set of custom tags, my importer could map the XMP CORE tags to them and your exporter could export those tags.
    Thanks for the work!
    Ian
    P.S. I'll check through your script tomorrow, some of the database tables changed between 1.5.6 and 2.0, so you might need to add in a version check to be really thorough.

  • Apex 3.0: export a report as .csv file without any Enclosed By character?

    In Apex "Report Attributes page/Report Export" is possible to define the Enclosed By field.
    The default Enclosed By by characters are a double quotation marks (" ").
    Is there a way to export the report as .csv file without any Enclosed By character?
    Example line format:
    a) using default Enclosed By
    "value1";"value2";"value3"
    b) using ('') as Enclosed By
    'value1';'value2';'value3'
    c) using blank space as Enclosed By
    value1 ; value2 ; value
    d) without any Enclosed By character
    value1;value2;value3
    What can we do in Apex to export a report as .csv file with the line format example d)?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    There is no Out of the box feature in Apex to achieve this functionality. But what you can do is write a page process to generate the CSV that you want.
    For this what I will do is on the first page where you press the Button it will call a PL/SQL page process which actually generates the csv. You can keep the existing report only for display purposes. Find the below process which generate the csv that you require.
    begin
    -- Set the MIME type
    owa_util.mime_header( 'application/octet', FALSE );
    -- Set the name of the file
    htp.p('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="filename.csv"');
    -- Close the HTTP Header
    owa_util.http_header_close;
    htp.prn('columnHeader1,ColumnHeader2,ColumnHeader3'||chr(13));
    -- Loop through all rows
    for x in (
    Select column1,column2,column3 from table;
    loop
    -- Print out a portion of a row,
    -- separated by commas and ended by a CR
    htp.prn(x."column1"||','||x."column2"||','||x."column3"||chr(13));
    end loop;
    -- Send an error code so that the
    -- rest of the HTML does not render
    htmldb_application.g_unrecoverable_error := true; --You can leave out this line if you still want to display the existing HTML report.
    end;
    This will show a download box, so you can download the csv file. The page process should be called before header and the condition should be the button press.

  • Batch export .ai to .png produces files without extension - please help

    I created an Action to batch export a folder of .ai files to create 300dpi .png's of the .ai file's artboard. I did this by simply recording "Export...as png" with my desired settings then Batch running the Action on desired folder of .ai files.  The files were successfully exported, the trouble is that the exported files lack a .png file extension. My intent is to take these PNG files and
    merge them into a single PDF using Acrobat Pro. Unfortunatly, without the .PNG extension, Acrobat Pro does not recognize the file types and does not let me use the Combine Files feature on them. Going back and manually adding a .png at the end of the exported files defeats the time-saving purpose of Batch Processing all together. Is there something I am missing or doing incorrectly? I have included screenshots of 1) My Batch Action settings 2) folders showing files without .png extension and 3) visual of what I see when I am trying to combine PNGs into a PDF. Assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    Yes, I am on a Mac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with CS5 (Illustrator 15.0.2, Acrobat Pro 9.4.6). Your suggestion did not help as "Hide Extension" is not checked. I even set "Open With" to Acrobat Pro and still get no extension or ability to import into Combine in Acrobat. Thanks anyhow. Please see below.
