I am trying to export an image from application server to MS Word document using METHOD ADD_BINARY_ITEM of I_OI_LINK_SERVER, I want to know what exactly i need to specify in EXPORTING parameter TABLE_URL?

We are using BW BPS 3.5 version, i implemented how to guide " How to load a flat file into BW-BPS using SAP GUI" successfully without any errors.
I inlcuded three infoobjects in the text file costelemt, Posting period and amount. the same three infoobjects i inlcuded the file structure in the global data as specified in the how to document
The flat file format is like this

Is it possible to load a flat file like this
They wants load a single row instead of 13 rows for each costelement
How to do this. Please suggest me if anybody accorss this requirment.
In the infocube we have got only one Info object 0FISCPER3(Posting period) and one 0AMOUNT(Amount)
do we need 13 Infobjects for each posting period and amount.
Is there any possiblity we can implement any user exit which we use in BEX Quer's

There are 2 ways to do this.
One is to change the structure of the cube to have 12 key figures for the 12 posting periods.
Another way is to write an ABAP Function Module to fetch the values from each record based on the posting period and store it in the cube for the corresponding characteristic. This way, you dont have to change the structure of the cube.
If this particular cube is not used anywhere else, I would suggest to change the structure itself.

You can if you have Acrobat. If you don't, feel free to give it a try. You can download a 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
Keep in mind, though, that Acrobat isn't intended to be a word processor. So, while you can make adjustments to text and graphics, if you need to do a major overhaul of the text in the document, it's best to go back to the source document and edit the content there.

Yes, you can do this by using the Word Edit Cell VI under Report Generation>>Word Specific>>Word Tables in your block diagram functions pallette. After creating a table, you can edit specific cells and send the file path of the image saved on your computer to that specific cell. Drag PDF into MS Word (using Adobe Pro 8)
We have to create MS Word reports that contain PDF images. We don't want to make those PDF documents into OCR or editable content. In previous versions we could drag the unopened PDF file onto an empty MS Word page and the multiple page PDF would convert into one image per page. We can't do that with the new version, it will only give us the first page of the PDF as an image. Is there a way to do this now?
Yes, I’m saying that I can in WORD use “Save As ADOBE pdf” but cannot in ADOBE create a pdf file from a WORD (.doc or .docx) document. While I can from other MS Office apps like Excel and PowerPoint.
I understand I can use “work around” and save doc in WORD as pdf then compile all files needed (xml, ppt, pdf) in the ADOBE v9. to one big pdf document. But that is not the point of this post.

I am using Flash Builder 4.6, BlazeDS, and Hibernate. How to store a webcam snapshot into the MySql Database. I stored Form Items by using RemoteObject into the database. But I failed to store webcam snapshot. I captured that image on Panel component.I converted that image to ByteArray. Now I want to save that image into the database. Please help me in this regard.

I am using Flash Builder 4.6, BlazeDS, and Hibernate. How to store a webcam snapshot into the MySql Database. I stored Form Items by using RemoteObject into the database. But I failed to store webcam snapshot. I captured that image on Panel component.I converted that image to ByteArray. Now I want to save that image into the database. Please help me in this regard.

How to export images into folders and subfolders
I've been using Aperture as an orgianizer basically. Now I want to export everything into a sane folder structure, but I haven't been able to figure out a way. Currently I have a setup something like this:
[Folder 1]
--Project 1
--Project 2
--Project 3
[Folder 2]
--Project 4
--[Folder 3]
----Project 5
----Project 6
--Project 7
And I want export everything exactly like that. For example Project 4 and Folder 3 should both be subfolders of Folder 2. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?You can define an export preset for the subfolder names, but I do not think you can get so deeply nested as your structure is. You may have to do several exports, separately for the different parts of your library.
An example for an export preset, that names subfolders is here:
This will name the subfolders based on containing folder and project name.

As i am able to enter one image file by above code in1.jpg in to the oracle database.... but i am not able to insert all the image file in to the database.....do tell me what should i do.... and can you give me the example on the basis of the above code of mine...

Automatically inport exported images into Lightroom
When I export an image from say DNG to tiff format I have to inport that exported image in order for it to be seen in Lightroom. I have to go to inport, select the folder I exported to, and then Lightroom will inport that image so I can view it.
Is there a preference I haven't found so this procedure is done automatically or is there a technical reason for this procedure?
I'm using V1.1 Mac OS 10.4.10, G4 Dual GH, with 1.5GB Ram

John BlakeOne reason, is npt everyone want exported images back in LR. The original is there and one can do VCs (virtual copies) for variations.
If the images you are exporting are going to folders with images already in LR you can do a Ctl/Right - Click Contextual menu on that folder and call fo a Sync Folder which will import any new images in the folder.

Inserting an image into a table using the iPad?
I am trying to make an evidence table in pages. I need to insert photographs into a table, next to the related statement. Is it possible to insert a photograph into the table on an iPad as I obviously don't have the 'command' button that others are using. If this is possible I want to be able to insert the picture as a predefined size?

Yes, you can do this by using the Word Edit Cell VI under Report Generation>>Word Specific>>Word Tables in your block diagram functions pallette. After creating a table, you can edit specific cells and send the file path of the image saved on your computer to that specific cell. I put together an example that I've attached here as well to help you out with this.

Can't log into BOE system using SAP Authentication when using Document Link
Hi all.
We are setting up our dev SBOP 4.0 SP2 system and are working on getting everything configured to our requirements.
What I am currently struggling with is the Document Link functionality.
If you browse to a document (WEBI or Crystal) in the folder view in the BI Launchpad and right click and select Document View, the system presents a static link to the report. The problem is, when I execute that link in another browser window, the system prompts me with the default login screen that consists of the User Name and Password which utilizes the Enterprise authentication by default. Our login authentication is set to SAP everywhere else.
I've already set the parameters for BILaunchpad.properties to allow us to log into the BOE server using our user IDs and that works without a problem. I've also configured the OpenDocument.properties file as well. Neither of these two files seem to have any impact on the screen I'm seeing when I try to use the Document Link. (And yes, I've restarted the tomcat server each time I've made a change to the config files.)
I'm running out of ideas - have any of you encountered this issue before and do you have any suggestions?

i saw this also a couple of times that the changes to the "custom" folder wont take affect.
Try the following:
1. Stop the Tomcat
2. Rename the properties file in the custom folder
3. take a backup of the properties file from the config folder
4. make the changes to the properties file in the config folder
5. start tomcat
Maybe this will solve the issue but if you deploy a new Fix Pack or Service Pack these Settings will get override.
If this solved your problem i would recommend you open a Support Message with the SAP Support.

After Mountain Lion install Time Machine states no existing backup
