Ext Window in a CFFORM tag

I have a problem with the ext window and I dont know how I resolve this.
How put a ext window inside a cfform tag?
Example:

Ok.. so I see you've got a div setup with the ID="infochange". Keep that div but remove the SCRIPT you have in that div.
Maker sure that div#infochange has no content-- simply use <div id="infochange"></div>. We'll be inserting our data into it.
Take the javascript I worked up at http://jsfiddle.net/XMx5P/2/ and include it on our page at http://nzusa.businesscatalyst.com/find_a_nutrition_zone_location You don't need to include it in the template code since we only need it on this page. So, open up that page in BC's admin or in Dreamweaver or a text editor and insert my code into a script tag. ie: <script type="text/javascript">paste javascript code here</script>. You should ideally include it towards the end of your html document.
It was hard to test if it actually works since I can't do cross-domain ajax scripting on jsfiddle.net but after a quick check it looks like it will probably work. Let me know how you make out.
Side note: You are using multiple identical ID's in your markup. Particularly where you create the wood buttons. You use id="woodcontainer" in multiple places and that is a no-no. If you want to have multiple HTML objects to be styled similarly, you should use classes instead so change id="woodcontainer" to class="woodcontainer" in your HTML markup for those buttons and then in /styles.css file, change #woodcontainer to .woodcontainer. You already have a class for these elements as "flip", "flip1", "flip2", etc. So just addend the class "woodcontainer" into your markup. ie: <div class="flip1 woodcontainer"> You should only have one instance of an ID on a page. If you use the same ID in multiple places it can break javascript and your page definitely won't validate.

Why do tables not display within a cfform tag?

i have included the html/cfm for a page it will not dispay in
the center of the display nor will the descriptions in the table
defined within the cfform tag display. i defined the cfform format
= flash because i want to use the calendar to select the date.
what am i missing???

when you use format=flash any html code you have inside
cfform is
totally ignored. you have to code your form fields very
differently with
format=flash...

Hyperlink set to open new window & jump to anchor tag, doesn't jump

I am generating Flash Help output in RH7.
We have content hyperlinks that are set to open in a new window (target="_blank") and jump to an anchor tag in the destination topic (a href="newwindowtopic.htm#anchor")
This works fine if I compile the file as is.
However, we edit the whtopic.js topic in order to remove the "Show" link that appears when you open context sensitive topics. We do this by adding the following code at the end or the addShowButton function:

Replacing the Show link worked fine in RH5 and it works fine in RH7. However, in RH7 when we replace the "show" link to have the TOC load when all topics are called (not just the start page), the ability to open a new window AND jump to the anchor tag is no longer working. When you click the hyperlink the new page opens, but only to the top of the page, not to the bookmark (anchor). The anchor jump does work if the hyperlink is set to open in the current window in RH7.
The issue exists in IE7 and Firefox.
Any ideas?

Why are you editing the JavaScript file? Did you know that when generating FlashHelp you have an option to turn off the Show link?
Additionally there are ways to link to topics so the TOC is visible and synchronized. These are described at this link right here.

Can I access Ext Windows HD from my PB

Hi
My past neighbors are moving and gave me their 2 old PC towers to look after and repair if I can.
None of them start, but they would like to recover some files on them.
One shows a XP Pro loading screen at some point, and I remember the other is a 98 (DK which version). Apparently one of them is infected by a virus that stopped it working.
I have put one HD in an enclosure. It shows in DU.
Volume format is MSDOS (FAT)
and I can eject. That's about it.
I tried to verify but says Unrecognised Filesystem.
Is there an equivalent of MacDrive?

there is no need for an equivalent of Mac Drive with FAT formatted drives. OS X can read and write to FAT formatted drives without any software. if it doesn't work for you the file system on that drive is likely damaged or the drive is defective. if it's a file system problem it should be fixed from windows. you can try mac data recovery software like Filesalvage or Data rescue II but it costs money and is not guaranteed to work.

Error when closing Photoshop CS5 Ext- Windows 7

This isn't a big issue, because at least it happens when I'm done with PS and not while I'm using it, but whenever I exit the program, whether by using the X in the corner or by using File->Close, I get an error afterwards saying "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."
Is there anyway to stop this from happening, because it is rather annoying after a while.

For what it's worth scratch what I said above about 12.0.1 fixing my own issues. I'm occasionally seeing Photoshop hanging around after exiting; I just made another post on the subject myself. Not seeing crashes at that point though.
I'll bet Chris Cox will find interesting your observation about being a user vs. administrator.
Photoshop may require write access to files or registry entries that would not necessarily be available to it if you're using the app as a different user than the account under which it was installed. It will be very interesting to hear what the resolution to this is. I believe I will create another user and try it to learn what it's trying to access.

Is it possible to view ".mp3" files in Mavericks "Tags" windows by file name (rather than the info in the "name" field of it's ID3 tag)?

Short version:
When viewing ".mp3" files in a "Tags" window, the information in the "name" column next to the file defaults to the information in the "song" field in the file's ID3 tag.
Is it possible to change have the "name" column display the actual FILE NAME instead?
I did some research and found nothing.
Long version
Let's say I have a ".mp3" file named "Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me.mp3"
When I open the folder this ".mp3" is in and find the file, the "name" column will read "Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me.mp3" (of course)
Now, I tag the file "jams"
Now I go to my "jams" tag view everything tagged "jams", the "name" column in that window DOES NOT say
"Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me.mp3" , but instead just "Hello It's Me"
The finder seems to be pulling this information from the "name" field of the ".mp3" ID3 tag metadata (aka, the information that would be written in the "name" column when viewing the file in iTunes.)
Ok, that's fine Mavericks, but I want to see the ACTUAL FILE NAME of my ".mp3", (which "tags" windows seems to do for most other things [documents, folders])
Q: Is it possible to display the filename of a ".mp3" file when viewing a "tag window?"
Tags are super useful, but this inconsistency makes it inefficient, distracting, and confusing to move freely between the window for a given "tag", and a normal "finder" window.

I think you have to avoid editing inside the tags list with the 'metadata names'. Instead right click an item, select 'Open enclosing folder'.
In 'real folders' you can enable the 'Title' in column via the 'Veiw Menu > show columns', that way you can see the file name & ID3/ EXIF titles.
'Fake folders' (smart searches & the recent tags list) don't feel finished yet IMO.

2) load 2 tabs and in the 3 tab load video player of youtube.com which will a sample video
before completing the load of 3 tab which trying to load video from youtube.com, navigate to other tabs 1 or 2 in few second once the flash player of youtube.com video player is load it will display in the current tab or UI screen.
3) Try navigating to other tabs than youtube.com loaded tab you see the flash player is on top it stable.
4) navigate to 3 tab and try to navigate to other tab you can observe that so how it will not show that flash player and only visible in that 3 tab which is fine.
Actual Result: Embedded tag of html page displaying on top of all layers of Adobe air application native window
Expected Result: Embedded tag of html page should only displayed in side htmlloader
This you can replicate in any adobe air plugin update and on any Hardware and Environment.
Applicable to all sdk versions of adobe air.

Overriding error window while using a template to tag Metadata

We have created a custom panel to tag hard drives of still images and everything is working as expected with the following exceptions:
1) When we select thousands of images on the hard drive to apply a metadata template, we get random error messages that Metadata cannot be applied to image XXXX. There is nothing different or unique about this image that would make it throw an error. The error images are always in the middle of a bracket of a sequence of 10 shots. It might be the first, third or fifth in a sequence, in other words, I cannot identify a pattern. Out of 4,000 images in the selected group for the template, 200 can back with errors, about 5%.
2) It is our hope to let the tagging process run overnight but when Bridge cannot write MD to a file, it displays a window and stops the tagging process until the OK button is hit. I have not been able to find an "override error message" check box which would allow the operation to run unattended. Any way to override this window? Would writing a script with a "do not show errors" line included work? Do you happen to have a script like this as I am not an expert script writer.

Tags from 'Comments' field in Windows Explorer don't show up in iTunes

I have thousand of files where I allready put tags directly in the comments field in the files proberties in Windows Explorer, but the tags don't show up in iTunes comments field?
I can then manually put tags directly in iTunes comments field and they will not show up in the proberties of the files in Windown Explorer!
So I ask, why on earth aren't those fields (in iTunes and in Windows Explorer) compatible, when all other fields (for example name, artist, year) are compatible?

Okay, thanks for replies and for your time, but the problem continues.
First: I've ripped CD's in different ways (before starting to use iTunes). I've used Nero, Windows Media Player, Lame and imported mp3 files directly from the internet. Some files have been through Flash Renamer and TigoTago. After importing the files I've tagged them with comments and other stuff directly in Windows Explorer. And then I decided to use iTunes because of buying iPods and playing music through AirPort Express.
What I've tried to right now:
I've tried to check files with MP3Val, but it said the files were OK.
Then I tried - with another laptop - to install I new iTunes program (English language to be sure and there after I imported/ripped a new CD using iTunes to import. Before importing I put a tag in the Comments field in iTunes and it never showed up in Windows Explorer Comment field. I also tried after that to put tags directly in Windows Explorer Comment field and add the files once again to iTunes library, but again, no comments in iTunes. Also again put tags in iTunes, but no tags in Windows Explorer.
Then I did more or less the same using Realplayer to import the CD, but with the same negative results.
*Then I went back to my old laptop, imported a CD using iTunes and then tagged the comment field in Windows Explorer and suddenly I got comments in iTunes! But the comments look like this: "00000000 00000210 000008E8 0000000000775908 00000000 0040E5E1 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000".*
I don't know what to do with this?
And apparently, it's only when importing new files using iTunes to rip the CD, that this happens. Otherwise, nothing happens at all.

People tags in Lightroom 6 and Windows Live Photo Gallery

I think I'm finally ready to make the switch to lightroom from WLPG for photos management. I've used LR for a long time to do the edits but people tags are huge and kept all of my photo management in WLPG. I have 100k organized photos and they are all people tagged in WLPG. I just started the LR6 trial and noticed it doesn't honor existing WLPG people tags. Is there a way to import them / avoid redoing people tags for 100k pictures? Which, simply won't happen.
Side question - people tags and coordinates export with jpg outputs from LR6 (assuming I don't intentionally turn them off at export), correct?

Below is the solution to get face tags from windows photo gallery to Lightroom for me. Be sure to backup your files.

Step 1: Mopve the people names and the rectangles for the people into a different field in the .jpg metadata
Download Exiftool
I ran the command below from the command prompt and in the folder with exiftool and the configuration file found from the link below:
exiftool.exe -config ExifTool_config_convert_regions "-regioninfo<myregion" "foldername" -m -r -overwrite_originals_in_place
"foldername" is the folder / path you want to make the change for. -m ignores minor errors, -r includes subfolders, -overwrite... means it will NOT create the otherwise default backup for each file changes (filename.jpg_original).

Step 2: Move people names to keywords for Lightroom. Do this if you're using lightroom, do not do it if you're using picassa. I haven't yet been able to check to see but I'm guessing I will have to "convert it to a person tag" in lightroom keywords since they show as descriptive tags but I have tested everything else.
Add the people names to the keywords

CFFORM and BASE HREF tag

Hello,
I am developing a web page with the <BASE HREF="
http://www.mydomain.com"> tag
and using CFFORM to do some form validation on the page. When I
test the page, the CFFORM is not validating. I thought that maybe
the <BASE> tag was throwing off the mappings somehow, making
/CFIDE look in
http://www.mydomain.com/CFIDE
(which doesn't exist).
Any ideas on how to make CFFORM work with a <BASE HREF="
http://..."> tag?

Specify the location of your cfform scripts inside your
CFFORM tag. ie;scriptsrc="/cfscripts". Replace with location of
your scripts by creating a virtual directory in your webserver or
use application mapping.

Cfreport call returns html when called within ajax tags

I'm "ajax-izing" an application.
I had a data collection cfform that on submit called
template2.cfm that did a query and invoked a <cfreport>
It worked great.
I stuck the same cfform tag within a cflayout and cfpod tag
and now, instead of a new PDF page displaying, I get goble-d-****
within the cfpod of the calling template.
Several posts on the web note that because the whole form is
not submitted, the header of the calling template stays in force,
preventing the browser from opening a new PDF window (or some such
thing).
I really don't care why. I just want a workaround.
Is there some way to basically get a targer="_blank" or
something so that the submission of the form within a cfpod, etc.
will create a new browser window that will display the cfreport's
PDF?

I don't realize that I had to include more of the path in the javascript call.

Much as the submission form on this site, i want to open a
pop-up preview window so visitors can check content before
posting....

i think code has to be inside cfform tag so all content is

ID3 Tags wiped out....help !!

Having imported my music library and converted ID3 tags to version 2.4, when I view the files in Windows Explorer all the tag information has been deleted. This problem stays even when files are converted to AAC format (also, rather than AAC the files show as M4A in Windows)
Please can anybody advise me as to what I need to do? I don't have an iPod just yet (will be purchasing the 80Gb version if I can be sure this problem can be solved).

Please install the old utility.. 5.6
I am not at all sure 6.2 or the new firmware on the TC if you upgraded are not the cause of the problem..
If you upgraded the TC downgrade again.. simply hold the option key when you select firmware.. 7.6.3 is full of bugs.. for now it is not worth the pain.
There is nothing wrong with your setup that I can see.. so I really suggest the older utility.. and then you can track the log of the TC.. no longer available in v6 utility. It is a toy.
How to load 5.6 into ML.
1. Download 5.6 for Lion.

Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
2. Download and install unpkg.
http://www.timdoug.com/unpkg/
Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall 6.1 (now 6.2) so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

Wrong ID3 Tags On Zen To

Hi!
I have a problem with writing ID3 Tags directly on my Zen Touch player. If I save info for example about artist to file that is already on player then this info is visible but it isn't correct. Random button do not add this file to playlist, and if I download such file to computer than there is no info in ID3 tag.
I think that it might be problem with new firmware but I can't back to the old one.
Please help!

[size="2" face="Helv">[size="2" face="Helv">- When you edit (say) the artist of the file in your MP3 player, the tag info of the file (in your MP3 player) is not updated. Only the database in your MP3 player is updated.
- When you transfer the file from your MP3 player back to PC Music Library, the PC Music Library will be updated with the artist info that you have made in your MP3 player. However, the tag info is not updated.
- MediaSource v3 and above allow you to update the artist info in the tag based on the artist info that you see in the PC Music Library for that file.
- Launch Creative MediaSource Oragnizer.
- Go to Tools->Settings->PC Music Library and click Properties. Set your preferred folder and file naming convention. Close the setting page.
- In the Sources window, click to view PC Music Library.
- Go to View->Right Panel View and select to view your MP3 player.
- Transfer the tracks from your MP3 player to MediaSource's PC Music Library by clicking the arrow pointing from right to left.
- If you have updated the track information of the tracks in your MP3 player, the updated track information will also be imported into the PC Music Library database. However, the tags of the files are not updated. Here is what you need to do. Right click the PC Music Library node in the Sources window or right click on any tracks in the PC Music Library window and select "Update Tag". This will update the tag of all the tracks or the selected tracks with the track information as seen in the PC Music Library.
