Hello.
I Need to know all characteristics of my Requirements and Receipts.
IN RRP1 and RRP4 i can create a profile with some characteristics, but don't show all.
I need to know if exists a report or what are the tables or badi.

I found the answer.
there are two ways to extract the characteristics.
1) Creating a Characteristics Profile -> On RRP1/RRP3/RRP4 :
User Setting -> Product1 -> Mark Characteristics -> Enter the profile name.
To create a Profile with what characteristics you want.
On SPRO:
APO > Supply Chain -> PP/DS -> Model Mix Planning -> Define Visualization Profile
This option is limited by 10 characteristics.
2) Another way using BAPI:
BAPI_MOSRVAPS_GETLIST2
With this you can reach all characteristics.

Not sure if this helps but give a try
you can create connection from EAS to SAP .. using a plug-in .. if you have access to oracle Support go for [ID 968961.1]
or
below are steps
1. In EASPATH\console, open components.xml in a text editor.
2. Under <PluginList>, enter <Plugin archiveName="SAP" packageName="com.essbase.eas.sap.ui"/> before the closing </PlugIn> tag.
3. Save and close the file.
4. In EASPATH\console\bin, open admincon.lax in a text editor.
5. Search for lax.class.path= and append ;..\lib\sap_client.jar;..\lib \sap_common.jar to the entry. Save and close the file.
6. In EASPATH\server\bin, open adminsvr.lax in a text editor.
7. Search for lax.nl.java.option.additional, and append -DRFC_INI=EASPATH\server\saprfc.ini. Save and close the file.
8. Create a new environment variable, RFC_INI, with a value of EASPATH\server\saprfc.ini
9. Copy librfc.dll andsapjcorfc.dll to EASPATH\server\bin. You may need to obtain these files from SAP.

We need to Extract data from SAP and send to an external system via Webmethods middlewear using IDOCs. I have never used webmethods before and would like to know more about how to implement this scenario. I have used IDOCS in an EDI scenario before but not used it along with WebMethods.

If you have already ABAP programs /BAPI's in place then try to develop RFC interface and write some back ground programs to scheudl BAPI's and develop scenario but you need to implement error handling , data validation in PI mapping level.
or
take help from ABAPer to design in ABAP like writing Proxy program to pull data and send it PI.
if you are dealing with master data bit risky(correctness) but can be achived using PI.

So, I'm able to extract some keyframe, but i'm not sure it is the correct way and my dubt grows out of the fact that without the if expression highlighted in red, it seems that I have more keyframes (those ones with flag ==1040). Another problem is that it works only with AVI because MPG instead of 1040, they have alternate sequence of 32 and 1056.

Applescript or workflow to extract text from PDF and rename PDF with the results

Hi Everyone,
I get supplied hundreds of PDFs which each contain a stock code, but the PDFs themselves are not named consistantly, or they are supplied as multi-page PDFs.
What I need to do is name each PDF with the code which is in the text on the PDF.
It would work like this in an ideal world:
1. Split PDF into single pages
2. Extract text from PDF
3. Rename PDF using the extracted text
I'm struggling with part 3!
I can get a textfile with just the code (using a call to BBEDIT I'm extracting the code)
I did think about using a variable for the name, but the rename functions doesn't let me use variables.

You may also try the following applescript script, which is a wrapper of rubycocoa script. It will ask you choose source pdf files and destination directory. Then it will scan text of each page of pdf files for the predefined pattern and save the page as new pdf file with the name as extracted by the pattern in the destination directory. Those pages which do not contain string matching the pattern are ignored. (Ignored pages, if any, are reported in the result of script.)
Currently the regex pattern is set to:
/HB-.._[0-9]{6}/
which means HB- followed by two characters and _ and 6 digits.
Minimally tested under 10.6.8.

Error While extracting data from FIAA and FIAP

Hi Gurus,
I am facing error while extracting data from R/3 Source. 0FIAA, 0FIAP datasources. I am getting the same error repeatedly. No data will come BW. When I checked in RSA3 I can extract records.
Ther Error is as follows:

Diagnosis
No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
System response
The ALE inbox of the SAP BW is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
and/or
the maximum wait time for this request has not yet run out
and/or
the batch job in the source system has not yet ended.
Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.
Kindly help. Your points are assured.

Have you already checked what happened in the source system ?
You should verify if a job is running in sm37, or if there is no dump runtime errors due to the extraction in st22.
It could be a clue of what happened in R/3.

How to check the time taking to extract rows from source and time load data into destination

Recently I have started working on Optimizing an SSIS package in 2012. The package reads data from AS 400 server and load into SQL Server table.. No transformations are being used in the package. only ADO.Net Source and OLE DB Destination are using in the
package.
The SSIS package is extracting 6500 rows and loading into database per batch. This process is taking 18 seconds. I would like to know out of 18 secs how much time is being used only to extract data from the source and how much time is taking to write the
data to the database per each batch.
Any thoughts be greatly appreciated...

Anybody had experience extract data from Traders and Schedulers Workbench? Is there standard extractor or everything has to be csotomized?

Can you explain your scenario a little more as FIM is not really a source of data. FIM does however have data storage for its mapping rules, job logs, and even transactional data which is access by EPM apps to "drill-to-origin".
Rather FIM is a middle ware application to transfer data between applications. Working underneath FIM is Data Services. You can use Data Services to move data from any source into BW. Or you can use BW's own ETL capabilities with UD Connect or DB Connect to bring data from an outside datasource.

How to extract data from CLOB and insert them into DB?

I have no experience in PL/SQL, but I have a requirement now where I have to use it.
We have a table with 10 columns, one of them is a CLOB and it holds XML data. The XMLs are very huge in size.
Two new columns are added to the table and the data has to be filled for the existing records from the corresponding XML. The XML has all the data as attributes. I started searching on the internet and tried if I could extract the data out of XML.

Can this be acheived using a SQL statement.Yes, you can do it with the DML error logging clause.

Extract Data from XML and Load into table using SQL*Loader

Hi All,
We have a XML file (sample.xml) which contains credit card transaction information. We have a standard SQL*Loader control file which loads the data from a flat file and the control file code is written as position based method. Our requirement is to use this control file as per our requirement(i.e) load the data into the table from our XML file), But we need help in converting the XML to a flat file or Extract the data from the XML tags and pass the information to the control file and in turn it loads the table.

First of all go to PSA maintanance ( Where you will see PSA records ).
Goto list---> Save-> File---> Spreadsheet (Choose Radio Button)
> Give the proper file name where you want to download and then-----> Generate.
You will get ur PSA data in Excel Format.

I'm working on a project where I need to interrupt a media stream (video and audio) and extract the data. Send the data with a custom protocol. On the recieveing side I would like to reconstruct the stream using only the data chunks.
I'm currently looking at [DataSourceReader.java|http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/2.1.1/solutions/DataSourceReader.java] and more specifically at a method like printDataInfo(Buffer buffer) to extract the data.
Is it possible to create a RTP stream, only having access to the byte array "data" in Buffer ?

Extract attachment from Infopath and set columns

I have a requirement to extract an attachment from an InfoPath form. I have achieved that with no problem using these instructions -

What I would also like to do when this document gets copied over to the document library, is to also set a column (ie. customer number). Based on this column the document gets moved to the correct folder via SPD workflow. I'm guessing I need

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to extract an attachment from an InfoPath form then save it into a library.
For this issue, there is no OOB way to achieve it. I suggest you develop your own custom workflow activity to do it. Here is a similar article, please take a look at:
