F110-Few Record types missing in DME file

Hi experts,
When we run F110, in the output file from DME(program:RFFOIT_B for Italy),some record types are missing.Eg: 5 and 6.
Could you please help me understand on what conditions do these record types get filled in the output file.
Are they maintained by any configuration setting  or how does the program picks them up?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Thanks
Kaavya

Hi,
You can check the source code of the program to see how the info is mapped in the registers. Include RFFORII4 shows the
mapping of the format of program RFFOIT_B.

  • Few records are missing while downloading to a Spreadsheet  from a Report

    Dear Gurus,
few records are missing while downloading to a Spread sheet from a Z report.  There are around 300 records, out of which 11 records are not appearing in Spreadsheet file after saving.  But, the funny thing is when i try to save in other format like, HTML or to a clip board all records are coming.
When asked, the ABAPer said -
your report is coming correctly.  if the report is wrong then we can try checking some code in the Z report.  Saving it into Spread sheet is the standard program provided by SAP.
He is also facing this problem for the first time.
    Can anybody help.
Thanks in advance and u will get points if useful.

    Hi,
Few days back we got this kind of error, when i tried to down load the asset balances in excel format.
It was observed that, for one of the asset description ends with cama",".  Due to this reason all other details has been stored in single cell.  Once we changed the master data of that asset, then we able to get the report properly.
    2) Some other time, when we tried to download material master details, for one of the material ... description not maintained.  this is another issue. After maintain the description problem got resolved.
Hope this information will be helpful to u.

Why all the ugly upper case? You do realise that NO programming standard, ranging from Java and .Net, to C/C++ and Ada (of which PL/SQL is an implementation of), use upper-case-for-reserved-words as a standard.
The easiest and simplest way to address your requirement is as follows:

I wonder, where SAP takes the data conteined in the record P9 of the DME file.
    Thanks a lot.

Thanks. Yes, this is it. I already raised an OSS to SAP and they said this is the first complaint they received. So they issued a sap note just now : )

  • Records are missing in the File which XI has placed in Target FTP server

    Hi All,
I have a scenario where in XI is transfering the files from ECC to Target System . No transformation required here . I am using AAE to run this scenario.
Issue i am facing here is that i can see few records missing in the File  which XI had placed in the Target system FTP server . Same file if i check it in archive folder of ECC (which XI has archived after picking the file), complete set of records are present for the same file.
    Need your inputs please....
Note : XI is using AAE to transfer the files and no mapping . Also i tried to check out the audit logs in the channel monitoring . Unforutanely i was not able to see the logs to check the bytes that was transferred while readng and writing the file . Sometimes i have faced audit logs issue in PI 7.1

  • Reading a multiple record types from a single File using BPEL file adapter

    Hi all.
We have a requirement where we want to read a CSV file using the BPEl adapter.
Following is the sample of csv file
    HDR,1,2,3
    ---- First transaction starts----
    TH,1,2,3
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,1
    TD,1
    -------Second transaction starts---
    TH,1,2,3
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,1
    RSD,1,2
    TD,1
    TD,1
    -------------Third Transaction starts---
    TH,1,2,3
    RSD,1,1
    TD,1
    TD,1
    TD,1
    TD,1
    -------------Fourth Transaction starts---
    TH,1,2,3
    LN,1,1,1,1,2
    -----End of File---
    TAIL
I have modified the file with some comments to have some clear understanding.
Basically our file is a transactions file from legacy system & contains mutliple transactions
First line will be a Header record starting "HDR" & contains all summary details about the file.
After it is details of all transactions thorughout the day, each transaction begins with record starting "TH".As shown in all transactions above.EAch transaction can have other multiple records like the RSD & TD shown above.
Our need is to read each transaction from the file & create an instance. How can we configure BPEL to grab the data starting with TH till it encounter's another TH.
    Please advise
    Krunal

You can't use the wizard to create a schema if a file as complex as this. the good news is that you can create one yourself. What you need to do is create standard xsd that will handle your file, then what you do is add the terminators that determine when a field stops.
Here is an example, hopefully this provides you enough infor for you to make your own.

  • Pl/Sql for creating Multiple record type file

    Hi all,
I have a scenario where I need to create a flat file that contains two different record types in the same file. Basically, a way of getting both the header record and the corresponding detail records. Following are the details:
    Table A (Header Records)
    "REC_TYPE" "M_ID" "DATE" "*C_ID*"
    1 123 090807 *222*
    1 345 090907 *333*
    Table B (Detail Records)
    "REC_TYPE" "A_NO" "LINE_NO" "*C_ID*"
    2 7564 1 *222*
    2 4535 2 *222*
    2 4656 1 *333*
    2 6576 2 *333*
In the output file, the resultset should be as:
    222, 123, 090807 (Header Record)
    *222, 7564, 1* (Detail Record)
    *222, 4535, 2* (Detail Record)
    333, 345, 090907 (Header Record)
    *333, 4656, 1 (Detail Record)*
    *333, 6576, 2 (Detail Record)*
    Any input is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

  • How to read relevant record type from file into LSMW ?

Here my req is like this.
    file with 5 records.
some of records in file are begin with 'AD'.
i want to read only that records from file while reading data.
i created one field in source structure with record type filed.
even i had given this Identifing Field Content:AD
but after reading data from file its reading all records from file.
But it should read only record type AB from source file.
    How can we achieve this?
    Thanks in Advance.

For this do the follwing steps
goto step 3 Maintain Source Fields
press the change mode button  after the double click the filed which is pass the AD value
then it will appier one popup window in this window you have one check box like " selection parameter for import/convert data"
tick thic chekc box and save it.
now when you read the data in Step9 , here you find select options there you enter AD* now you will get the only records start with AD.

  • F110S runs for a long time to produce DME file

A batch job schduled for "daily payment run + creation of DME files" using F110S (SAP ECC 6.0) . The batch is running in production for more than 20 hours to process payment against just single invoice.
The job runs in following 2 steps
    1. SAPF110S which processes the payment clears FBL5N.
    2. SAPFPAYM_SCHEDULE.
The second step seems a non-ending process.
The job variant has only 15 customers, only one invoice is to be processed against one account.
However in quality system the same job with more than 10,000 customer account range with more than 10 invoices runs just in few minutes.
Any idea or suggestion why it's taking so long in production?  Any missing configuration in production server?

It's not performance issue. When we run F110S or F110 in production with individual login id, program runs the way it should and finishes in reasonable time (for example the scenario I described in question finsihes in few seconds).
The problem occurs only when production batch job runs with job scheduler; program seems looping somewhere for infinite time - to be particular it keeps reading the table TPRI_DEF which has just few records (must be reading this table inside a loop).

  • Minus Sign in the Downloaded DME file using F110 Transaction

    Hi All,
From the F110 Transaction I navigate to the DME Administration from the menu bar in order to download the DME file into my system. I could open the txt file that is downloaded. Now my requirement is to add a minus sign to the invoice amount of the txt file.
I tried debugging the program to find out where the data is populated but was unable to. I can see the FM GUI_DOWNLOAD that downloads the file but the internal table contains hexadecimal data.I don't understand how this is converted to the text data.
I'm unsure of what to do.... Any body has any suggestions.
    Regards,
    Shipin Paul

    Hi Anmol,
Your answer helped me a lot. I am really thankful. But my issue is not solved.
I went to the DMEE Transaction and gave the correct format and the tree type as input.
Inside the format i went into the amount element as you have mentioned and included an exit module with the respective coding.
Then i execute the transaction F110 with the Run date and Identification.
I then navigate to the menubar Enviroment->Payment Medium->DME Administration so as to download it into my system as notepad.
I select one of the entries and press the download button. But it does not stop at the exit which i included in the DMEE Transaction
even though i have created a breakpoint there..
Do you have any idea about this.

  • F110 Payment run - problem with DME file

We are using a custom Payment medium Program for Colombia to generate a DME file. The problem is that after scheduling the Payment Run the user is trying to download the DME File into a folder on the PC to send to the bank. When the user clicks on the export file button the message says:
'There is no source for the data record'.
We tested this thoroughly in the Test environment and the user was able to download the file. But for some strange reason this is not happening in our production. The user has proper authorizations w.r.t F110 and FDTA transaction codes.
I am not sure if this would be useful but when the user gets this message the SU53 screenshot shows Authorization failure to the object P_ABAP  HR: Reporting. The Object class is HR Human Resources and the ABAP Program name is SAPMFDTA.
I am not able to understand why we get this because my client does not use SAP HR module.
Please let me know how to resolve this.

    Raj/

    Hello,
Please check the variant in OBPM4. To down load the file to PC, you special authorization and it is not rcommended as these files are very critical and changing to PC would allow the user to modify them.
These files are being downloaded to application servers. You can see the folders in AL11.
In OBPM1, you have enabled "DME file output".
    Hope this solves your problem.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Advising record (ADV - HSBC form) in DME file could not get email address

    Dear all,
I have problems with DME file that Advising record could not get email that is maintained in vendor master data.
Standard communication methods in vendor master data must be Emails.
We use exit module to get this email for below fields:
    Email chnl se. flag
    Email address
    T-code DMEE -> Advising record
(Attributes tab: Mapping procedures is Exit module.
Source tab: value was entered for Exit function)
We test once and got the expected result: email shown on DME file, in advising record.
However, as I rechecked recently, we have no email shown (though Constant value 'ADV' shown).
The form is active by the way.
I do not know if I miss anything in configuration.
    Please advise.
    Thank you very much.
    Rgds,
    Linh

    Hello Linh,
Did you manage to resolve this. I'm facing the same problem, not able to get the email address.
Can you please provide the function module you used.
    Thanks,

  • Few data missing from CTX file, need source for CTX file

    Hi Experts,
We are using ACH-CTX via Payment Medium Workbench (PMW) and not Via RFFOUS_T program.
The CTX file is generating and now the issue here is few data is missing for some ADDENDA records. But for some ADDENDA lines the data is perfect. Could anyone help me out where exactly the mapping is done for generating CTX File and where the data is coming for this CTX file. As per technical consultant the Event 30- FM: FI_PAYMEDIUM_ACH_30 is appending the ADDENDA record. But where exactly the values are coming from for these FM or for the CTX File. Please revert ASAP.
    Thanks,
