Facebook actionscript API not working with Flex 4.5 Mobile Project
Will the following API work in a Flex 4.5 mobile project?

This is the error because the runtime does not find any way to call Java script that usally is called through External interface. So my guess is you are using a AIR project. U just need to download the latest swc http://code.google.com/p/facebook-actionscript-api/downloads/list for destop in your case and don't forget to but FBJSBridge.js to put in your source that will b used to help AS call Facebook API from AIR runtime

Flex Component Kit publish SWC not working with Flex 4
I started this thread in the Flex forum and they are telling me that the SWC's I'm creating with Flash Professional CS5 and Flex Component Kit 2.0.0 are not linked with FCC for Flex 4.

That means the problem is with my Flash Professional CS5 setup instead of my Flash Builder 4 setup. Can someone here help me fix my Flash setup? As I described in that thread I can't find anything wrong with my setup but apparenty I'm generating SWC's for the wrong version of Flex.

RyanI unzipped my SWC and verified what Flex harUI in the Flex forum told me. My SWC seems to be linked with FCC 1 not FCC 2. I don't understand how this is possible. I am using Flash Professional CS5 and only FCC 2.0.0 is installed, FCC 1 is not even installed. Here are the contents of catalog.xml in my SWC file. How do I get Flash CS5 to generate an SWC for Flex 4?

Facebook in is not working with this new update from firefox. why?
i got on internet explorer and check facebook and they said that facebook was not supporting this new Firefox. i hate internet explorer.. and i was happy with firefox.. but i can't have it if it wont let me on facebook. i do a lot of my business there.

SQLConfigDataSource API not working with x64 drivers?
Hi,
I have an app that creates a DSN using the Windows' SQLConfigDataSource API; it runs fine in x86 with Oracle 9, 10 & 11g, but when I compile it for x64, on a 64-bit Windows 2003 server, it fails with "Driver's ConfigDSN, ConfigDriver, or ConfigTranslator failed."
- I installed the full "Oracle Database 11g Release 1 (11.1.0.6.0) for Microsoft Windows (x64)" from oracle.com.
- I verified that the drivers were successfully installed by going to the 64-bit ODBC Administrator, creating a DSN by hand and testing that connection successfully.
any ideas?

Do you mean 10204 patch 16 can solve this problem for oracle 10g? I have the same problem, and find only one 10204 patch 6810189, is it the right one? There is only setup.exe in it. Or what's the number os this 10204 patch 16?

My camera works with the photobooth and with skype but does not work with other applications like the "lolcam" from facebook or the " faceonthe hole" application. Can anyone help?
There was a issue with school computers being used to spy on kids in their bedrooms, Mac's were involved.
So Apple most likely tightened the API's to only select, trustworthy companies as not to abuse the web cam access priviledge.
If you want to use a web cam with these other programs and services, you'll likely have to buy a third party USB one, so you can manually disconnect it.
There isn't a way to physcially disconnect the built in web cam on Mac's without busting open the machine. -
I have recently upgraded my iMac Intel G5 iSight (iMac5,1) to OS 10.6.8 and now the internal mic does not work with skype or facebook. I can here static when playing back clips. Do I need to update firmware or reload old system parts. I have zapped PRAM. The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?
The sound seems very faint but can here static on playback.

Why does flash player not work with facebook?
Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

</s:Application>Derek,IE11 is having some compatibility issues with the share point.Apart from IE11,it should work on IE10,9 and Firefox and chrome as well.
Please check the links below that explains the issues with IE11 and the functionality of Drag and drop and limitations as-well.
1.Since SharePoint 2013 fully support IE 32-bit version above 7, there might be compatibility issue with other browsers. I’d recommend you use IE 8,9,10 32-bit for optimal Performance.
2. Open the same document library in Internet Explorer as this functions does not work with Firefox or Chrome by default
3. Make sure the IE (Internet Explorer) Version should be 32-bit and not a 64-bit

i'm trying to capture webcam snaps and storing it on local desktop.
Below code of capuring snap is working with flex but same code not working in adobe air.

is any setting is required to use webcam with adobe air?

Menu.createMenu is not working in flex 4.1.

I have created a menu bar with menu item using flex 4. My problem is that the meubar is not clickable on left and right side. How to make it clickableon both sides? For this problem i have found a solution by clicking a button using Menu.createMenu but it is not working in flex 4.1. can anyione help me with this?

osmf/branches/flex4/build/build.xmlNo, you don't need Flash Builder to use the Flex SDK. If you download the SDK and unzip it, you'll find a 'bin' directory that has the mxmlc compiler in it. You can compile Actionscript or MXML files using that.
./mxmlc MyFlexApp.mxml
If you are building an AIR application, you will use amxmlc
./amxmlc MyAIRFlexApp.mxml
Then, launch your AIR application using adl
./adl.exe MyAIRFlexApp-app.xml
