  • Fatal Error: compiler internal error

    Hi,
I'm new to JDeveloper and am having a problem trying to use jdk
1.3.1_01 with it. The version I'm using is Version 2.0 (Build
    343).
I tried to define a new target JDK version for java version
1.3.1_01 and got a "Could not create dependency files" message
at the end (I got the same message when I defined a new target
    JDK version for 1.2.1).
When I try to compile anything in JDeveloper with the 1.3.1_01
version set I get the following errors:
    Fatal Error: compiler internal error
    and
Fatal Error: internal assertion failure jmk 465
When trying to to compile with 1.2.2 I don't get this problem.
Would anyone be able to help me with this?
    Thanks,

version from OTN. You can get production 3.2.3 and Oracle9i
    JDeveloper Release Candidate from OTN
    (http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/jdev/content.html).
JDeveloper 2.0 works on JDK 1.1.7b.
    JDeveloper 3.2.3 uses JDK 1.2
    Oracle9i JDeveloper uses JDK 1.3

Again I would switch version of JDeveloper, which comes with the

  • How to determine if class was compiled with debugging information?

How may I determine if class was compiled with debugging information? Aside from actually executing the class in a debugger.

As known, when compiling "javac -g ..." the class

my Naive question is WHAT is this information?

  • ORA-29279:SMTP permanent error:552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum

    Hi,
I can send attachments smaller than 25MB.
But my attachment is 27MB and it fails. Don't ask why I need to send this big file by email, I have to.
Where can I change this maximum size?
    - any parameter in utl_smpt?
    - any parameter in server where DB is located? (Linux 2.6.18-238.1.1.el5)
    - any parameter in smtp machine server?
    Thanks.

The actual error, "+552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum+", is from the smtp server. Oracle expects a 0 return code and instead get a 522 return code in the smtp server's response (to the DATA command). So Oracle throws an exception that in turn contains the error response of the smtp server.
Interesting that you did not get the error earlier - many smtp servers have the ceiling set a lot lower and you can expect this error after sending around 5MB of data.
There are ways around this. Send the attachment as multiple fragments using a compression technology like zip or rar (where it is fairly easy for the recipient to reconstruct the source from the pieces send).
There's also another problem. The 20+ MB e-mail may be accepted by the smtp server, but the POP3, IMAP (or Exchange?) account (mail drop) may not accept an e-mail of that size.
Success is also assuming that you are delivering that mail directly to the correct/target smtp server. If not, then that e-mail needs to be relayed via a number of intermediate smtp servers before reaching the target smtp server and domain.
And there is a good chance that one of these relay servers will object to the size of the e-mail and trigger a hard bounce response.
Keeping an attachment size down to at most 3 to 5 MB is IMO the better approach as that guarantees a better chance of delivery than a 20+ MB e-mail.

Here's the XML that raises the Fatal error. The following
information is generated by the parser:
Fatal Error of Java SAX parser v2.0.2.5:
XML-0121: (Fatal Error) End tag does not match start
tag 'WOONPLAATS'. at line 517, column 4151 of XML document.
I attached the output of the SAXSample class, so you can trace
the line and column where the error occurs. Also attached is the
    XML file (4Mb).
An other error that occurs with this XML is the following
    situation:
    <VOLGNR_FILM> 001</VOLGNR_FILM>
this piece of XML is parsed with the following events:
    StartElement:VOLGNR_FILM
    Characters:NR_
    Characters:001
    EndElement:VOLGNR_FILM
So the spaces are replace with a part of the start tag! This is
also only with large files. I tested this piece of XML in a
seperate file. Then it was parsed correctly.
    Kind regards,
    Erik.

  • CM1415fnw FATAL ERROR on install, W7

All this is relative to the CM1415fnw, Windows 7, and a wireless connection.
The HP software disk that came with our CM1415fnw, unfortunately, gives only two choices for installation:  (1) Install just the drivers for the scanner and the printer OR (2) Install everything which includes the drivers plus all of HP's garbage software and the scanning software.  We wanted the drivers plus the scanning software, without HP's peripheral junk, and since this wasn't an option, we attempted to install the printer and then the scanner and were going to use other software for scanning ... and:
Although the printer installs as the 1410, it installs successfully using plug and play and the driver on the disk, and we can print just fine.
No such luck with the scanner.  It's not recognized as new hardware (due to wireless connection maybe?), and we can't seem to get it to install in any fashion.
So, we uninstalled the printer, and tried the disk.
The full software install gets to 76 percent and then shoots a FATAL ERROR, with no other information when we attempt the full software package.
When we try just the drivers, we only get to 20-something percent and get the same FATAL ERROR.
The only option under both installs is to cancel the installation.
I can't find any information anywhere on a wireless connection and the fatal error -- only a USB connection + fatal error.
Am wondering, as it's really not clear to me reading the specs for the machine ...
Is this machine supposed to SCAN wirelessly?  Or only print wirelessly?
Or, if we're using a wireless connection for printing, is our only option to scan to a USB device and then copy those scans to the laptop and/or PC?
If it IS supposed to scan with wireless connection, does anyone know how to get through the installation process?
We did, btw, attempt an install using the latest and greatest downloads from the HP site, in addition to trying the disk install.  We also tried both the disk and download versions several times, with no other programs running, etc. etc.
    Any suggests would be appreciated.

Since the install keeps giving errors, there might be something in your system that's preventing the install. What processor are you using? How much memory do you have in the computer? What version of Windows 7 do you have, Basic, Home, Pro, Ultimate, or Enterprise? What antivirus and firewall are you using?

  • RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded

    Dear all,
we are executing and EDGE project in a Samsung SmartTV.  In more powerful models (more memory and cpu) the execution is correct. but in some old TV models we receive the following  message:
    File:   file://c/........../EDGE_006/edge_includes/edge.2.0.1.min.js
    Line No:  135
Error Detail: RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded.
It seems that this happens depending on the complexity of the EDGE project, as for some simple projects it works.
we would like to adjust our EDGE project for this less powerful models modifiying animations and simplifying complexity, but we dont know where to start (which animations to remove, etc.)
Or if there are some parameters in the edge API to adjust in order to increase performance in low memory browsers.
    Thank you in advance,

Unless you know this DLL is using exceedingly lots of stack (at least
several dozens of MB) for whatever obscure reasons it is very unlikely
that running out of stack space is causing your problem. More likely
either the DLL does something nasty to a data pointer passed in to it or
you made an error in setting up the call to the DLL.
For instace if the DLL expects strings or array pointers to be passed in
    they need to
be allocated by the caller (here LabVIEW) and you need to
tell LabVIEW to do that in the diagram code.

  • Help with x64: fatal error LNK1112: module machine type 'X86' conflicts with target machine type 'x64'

Hello, I am trying to complie some C code for some applications I am working on in labview (I am using Labview 2012 64bit).
When I try to build my code in Visual C++ 2010 ( I have set it up to be able to use x64) I get the following fatal error:
nivision.lib(StartupShutdown.obj) : fatal error LNK1112: module machine type 'X86' conflicts with target machine type 'x64'
Which I understand that .lib does not have a 64bit compatability. However, if I were to use 32bit code, how can I link/emulate it to my 64bit labview? Is there a good tutorial on this application? The problem is the rest of my application uses and requires 64bit labview, so I am stuck in this enviroment.
    Thanks.

    dbrittain wrote:
Thanks for the reply. The C code I have cross correlates images, and it does reference the image inputs and size variables from the nivision classes. I am thinking of using a side by side labview environment with shared variables. I have not done this before, do you have any good examples? Can you make the library function node a shared variable or only the elements within it?
I guess I could try to convert to labview, but the are a lot of lines of code that I would prefer not to try to wrap my head around in translation.
The LabVIEW API in Vision Development Module has functions that let you get access to all those parameters as well as the raw image data pointer. A common design is to query those items on the LabVIEW diagram and then pass them to your DLL. This would mean you wouldn't need to make any calls into the Vision DLL from your C code.
As for examples showing how to use shared variables, keep in mind that it isn't just like doing a function call. The more appropriate way to think of it would be communicating with another VI by getting and setting controls and indicators while it runs. You could put all your arguments into a shared variable and set a boolean indicating it is ready, then wait for another boolean to go high indicating the other code has finished and placed its results in another shared variable. Your application code interacts with the shared variables just like a control/indicator/local variable. This of course is a simple description and I would not be surprised if there are well-defined frameworks/examples searchable in the forums that use shared variables in this manner.

  • Fatal Error: Unexpected error from Microsoft HTML Compiler

I'm using RH 6 with Vista (yes I know Vista is not supported,
but I'm one of the few that has to have it, so I'm using the
    tweaked unsupported version)
Sometimes when generating a CHM output (Compiled HTML Help)
right after the "Compacting file system..." step I get an error
that says "Fatal Error: Unexpected error from Microsoft HTML
    Compiler".
I'm not sure what causes it. I don't get it all the time, but
I seem to get it more often than not. However, it doesn't seem to
do anything adverse to the compiled help file. Well, not that I can
    see anyway.
Any information on what causes this and how I can fix it?

If deletion of the CPD doesn't work, there seems to be more
    amiss in the HHP.
Have you had a look at the new version of the HHP-file?
Your missing images are due to another problem: I guess you
have images linked to from imported topics. During import RH copies
all necessary files to the appropriate relative locations, but it
does not 'recognize' new folders created during this step. For the
compilation RH copies all the stuff it thinks belong to the project
to a temp folder, but 'unrecognized' files are ignored, thus
    missing in the compiled help.
Use Windows explorer to note where linked images are situated
and 'create' these folders within RH via the context menu of the
Project Explorer's folders 'HTML Files' section. This way RH
suddenly recognizes the folders and is able to handle the images
    therein.
Perhaps some unrecognized folders are responsible for
    compiler crash, too?
