FB3 Where do circuit images go?

Hi, I’m using CF10 and Fusebox 3. Can you tell me where images for a circuit go? Should they be stored in the root “Images” folder or should I create an “images” folder in the circuit directory? I’ve tried it both ways and cannot get the graphic to show in one of my circuit pages.
This is the code that does not work for me where I put all the graphics in the images root folder. None of the graphics show up when I look at the circuits main page. The code work fine however, from the main site page. Thank you.

Use cfdump to debug fusebox.rootpath and imagesdir. See if they are correct.

  • Where to store images in webapp?

    Hello.
    I'm designing an web application which main purpose is to store and view images that users has stored.
    I'm considering that where is the best place to store those images? I have at least two options: relational database or filesystem. Is it bad idea to store images in database? What are the downsides?
    The user's images has to be seen only by the user itself, that is to say others should not get the user's private images. How this can be made by filesystem? I have thinking some kind of "ImageServlet" to where you pass image's id by parameter and the servlet checks that the requester has priviledges to fetch the image eg. is the owner of the image (fetching userinformation from the session). The application will have also a feature that the user can "share" some images to known persons. The "ImageServlet" can fulfil that requirement also.
    Am I in right direction or does somebody have a better idea?
    -Robert-

    Ok maybe I do the matrix and consider the things that have been came up.
    I was wondering one thing. If I choose store images in database, what about db connections? Them are anyway resources that are always scarce even if there is connection pool in use. Could that be stumbling block? Because the application's nature is, that there can be lots of pictures, users create picture albums and can view them later.
    Nevertheless, I still think that I need to design some kind of "ImageServlet" to get the pics. I was wondering something like this:
    In JSP/HTML page images are referenced by img tag like this
        <IMG src="ImageServlet?name=pic1" width=... height=...><BR/>
        <IMG src="ImageServlet?name=pic2" width=... height=...>
        <!-- etc -->In ImageServlet pics are served eg. like this (this is just example to show what I'm thinking)
        // check if user have rights to access to pic
        checkUserRights();
        resp.setContentType(...);
        resp.setContentLength(...);
        // imageStore could fetch the image from database or filesystem
        InputStream picStream = imageStore.getImage(req.getParameter("name"));
        OutputStream out = resp.getOutputStream();
        byte[] buf = new byte[1024];
        int count = 0;
        while ((count = pic.read(buf)) >= 0) {
          out.write(buf, 0, count);
        pic.close();
        out.close();Is there some drawbacks, if pics are sent to requester using OutputStream?

  • Where to put images in web Dynpro project to have them deployed?

    Hi Brothers,
    I would like to show an image in an <img>-tag within a Formatted Text View UI Element.
    I have created a folder img under src/.../projectname and I have referenced the image in the <img>-tag as follows:
    < img src="/LocalDevelopment~LocalDevelopment~testroadmap~demo.sap.com/src/packages/com/sap/demo/projectname/img/newRow.JPG"; /.>
    However, the image is not shown in the Formatted Text View UI Element.
    Does anybody know where to put images so that they are packed in the .war achieve and deployed and how to referenced them?
    Thanks, Johannes

    Hi,
    place the image in the following folder of application,
    src\mimes\Components\<your component name>.testroadmap.demo.sap.com
    If you store the image file in your Web Dynpro project under src /mimes /Components /<Name of Component>, you only have to specify the file name without a path.

  • Where is the image file size???

    Where is the image file size in LR3? I can't see it anywhere neither in the Library module, nor in the Develop module.

    As far as I know Lightroom does not display the file size. Keep in mind that LR never makes changes to the Original files that you import.
    When you export a file with LR edits the file size generated will depend on the edits applied and the size and quality settings you choose in the export dialog.

  • Where are the Image Properties located?

    Where are the Image Properties located? Recently watched a tutorial that suggested right clicking an image to see the Image Properties window. However, I am not seeing it. I am looking to add Image descriptions for better SEO. Thank you

    Hello,
    Is that image used as a fill in a rectangle ?
    If you right click in a Image frame you will the option for image properties. look at the screnshot.
    If you right click on a recangle that has an image used as a fill then you will not the option for image properties. look at the screnshot.
    If there is anyother scenario you are talking about please let me know and i will look in to it.

  • Where did my image capture go?

    I purchased a macbook in '09. For the past few years I have used a memory card reader to install my photos on my computer, because I couldn't figure out why nothing photo related would work on my computer. Now I see that there is no Image Capture on the macbook, and hardware that is older than the computer require it. I tried reinstalling my applications but image capture is not listed as one of them on either CD. I have version 10.5.8 and the CDs are 10.5.6. What should I do? Or is it listed as something hidden?

    I'm not sure where to find Image Capture to install it if it is gone.
    Try using Spotlight to check if it is really missing from your mac.
    Have you tried to use iPhoto to import your pictures?
    In iPhoto > Preferences > General > Connecting camera opens:  select iPhoto.
    If you find Image Capture you can use the same Preference above to select it.

  • Where is the image of the Mac HD?

    I have a new MBP with 10.7. When it starts up the image of the Macintosh HD is not on the screen. I have performed a erase of data and a restore(download) of a new MacOs and now the image of the HD is not on the opening screen. Where is it?
    This is a refurbished MBP. I intially transfered everything from my PowerBook G4 only to find that I had a lot of garbage and unuseable stuff on my new machine. I erased all the data and did an installation of a new Os from Apple over the net. Several situations resulted the most important is that  the HD is not on the desktop after start-up. Also when identifying myself the data entry refused to take a Canadian province and a code postal. Is the OS a US version? Is there a Canadian version somewhere?
    Cheers

  • Where are the image units in Motion 5.05??

    What happened to the image units in Motion 5.05? I used to have it in 5.04 but where is it? I'm using Mountain Lion.
    Please Help,
    ~AJ

    Good question!!!
    I have a few Effects that are breaking due to the removal of these filters (both sets are gone, btw: Filters > Image Units and Generators > Image Units). Funny thing is -- they still work just fine in Motion (already being used) but completely ignored in FCPX.
    I know that many of the IUs were from Quartz and not compatible with Motion, but many of them were, and worth experimenting with.
    I just finished filling out a bug report (AKA providing feedback) about this subject. I hope you will do the same.

  • Where are the image files located?

    hey guys, my book is 75 mb and I can only guess that it's because my images are Too big. I don't know how to get the file sizes down because I replaced them but they must still be retained in the image folder because when I look at the size its 75mb. Does anyone know where the images are located?

    Finding out where the images are held doesn't really help – here's why:
    iBA a files aren't really document files – they're more like zipped folders. iBA does a whole heap of background stuff to make the book work. When you drag an or import an image into iBA, it gets filed into a certain place within that folder structure, and presumably 'logs' that location in some xml-type wizardry somewhere else in that folder structure.
    Because of this, it's not a great idea to muck around with any of that stuff - it often makes things worse, not better.
    As for image size - as Vinny said - all you can do is make the images 2048 x 1536 if you want view them full screen. That looks best on a Retina display, as almost all iPads being sold now are.
    I don't know what your intentions are with the project, but in my experience, 75Mb pretty small. Is 75Mb the iBA file or an exported .ibooks file? Once a book gets exported to .ibooks format, the file size comes down. The iBA files I have worked on are much larger – the smallest being about 975Mb, going up to about 3.25Gb.

  • Thumbnail of the pdf contains blank section where there were images. However, the text is displayed.

    Hi there,
    I was trying to get thumbnail images of the pdf pages using coldfusion 10 cfpdf. Thumbnails have been generated for most of the pdf files. However, for one particular pdf file, the text in the pdf file were displayed properly but the image section was blank for the generated thumbnail image. I have tried genearting a normal image (tiff format) of the pdf page but the tiff file also has blank section in the place of images. I came across the below page and found that the image in the pdf might be of jpg 2000 format.
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1033503/cfpdf-thumbnail-problem-not-showing-background- images
    This has been a know issue in the Coldfusion 8. But I am unable to get the information about this issue in the Coldfusion 10 version. Could anyone please help me to resolve this problem?

    There are a few options for you here. In the Inspector>Metrics Tab, when you click on the picture, it will display the name. Then you can use the find feature of the Finder to locate the picture. If you have Keynote set to save files as Packages, you can right click the file in the Finder (or control click) and then select Show Package Content. This will show you all the files that make up your Keynote and you can copy the pictures out of there into a new folder. Finally, if you can't find them any other way, you can select and copy the picture in Keynote, then open Preview and command-n (or File Menu>New from Clipboard) and then save the file to where ever you want so you can find it.

  • Where to place images

    Hi,
    Where can I put my image directory? For example, my application requires functionality to upload and display various images. These images can't be jar'd with the WAR file, because they are dynamic. But the problem is: How to get a file system reference?
    I have tried a bit of sneakiness. In the J2EE directory, under the repository/computerName/web directory, I can see there is a folder with the same name as my web context root. So in the same directory i placed an 'images' folder and then referred in the JSP to src="../images/image.gif" This did not work.
    Any ideas how I can do this?

    Hi,
    You can place an images directory here:
    < J2EE_HOME >/public_html
    Hope this will help you

    You will likely get better program help in a program forum

  • Where are the image numbers for photos sent via Photo stream?

    I created an album for a friend of 450 images and sent them via Photostream. When indicating the ones she liked, she referred to the numbers but I can't see any numbers on the pictures. They are not the original numbers as I have them in Aperture. Can anyone tell me where to find them? Don't tell me she counted all 450 of them!!!

    Forget the files - you do not access them using iPhoto - you access the photos using the media browser - in the lower left hand corner of every upload/attach/open window under media ==> photos ==> iPhoto
