SPI didn't expect to be the only one to encounter this misbehaviour of OWB.
Meanwhile I found out what the problem is and had to recognize that it is like it is!
There is no solution for it till Paris Release.
Bug Nr. 3099551 at Oracle MetaLink adresses this issue.

In all you can say :
Chart of accounts + Val. Area + Val. type+ transaction + Valuation grouping code + account grping code + valuation class + G/L accounts
all above factors in all affects the determination ....

One of my customers asked me this question...
I'm have an issue with a change in the execution order in TestStand 4.1.1. [he has upgraded from 3.1 to 4.1.1] It looks like ProcessModelPreStep runs earlier in 4.1.1 than it does in 3.1. This causes our model to error out because some required variables haven't been defined when it runs. I wish there was a big flow chart or state diagram for TestStand. Maybe there is and I don't know where to look?

How to make a form from a flow chart.
I want to make a flow chart into a form for a website. For example, I have a flow chart that leads to various solutions based on yes/no answers. I want the user to be able to enter in yes or no, and be directed to further questions or answers based on the answers they provide. Is there an easy way to approach this? Perhaps a form is not the best method?
Ajax (Javascript) would have an edge over PHP in regards to responsiveness. The best solution might combine all three methods (PHP, Javascript, HTML).
Are the responses going to be stored in a database? If so then you can also use the database to store the questions, complete with form fields.
One big difference between javascript and PHP is that PHP does nothing until you either open a new page or hit submit, and then it runs in a linear fashion until it reaches the end of the script. Javascript, on the other hand, can respond to other "events" that take place, such as when the user clicks away from a form field. With the advent of html5, HTML now has a little of the responsiveness of javascript.
PHP is the tool you use for processing form data and interacting with the database, if each form response is followed by a complete PHP processing cycle, the form will seem sluggish to the user. There are two solutions to this:
Have the user respond to a group of questions, then hit submit. The occasional lag for page reload won't bother the user.
Use AJAX to interact with the PHP form processing behind the scenes.
So yes, you can have one page that responds and changes depending on user input. PHP, javascript and HTML5/CSS3 can all be part of this. The specific way you build your solution will depend on your specific form progress and what technologies you are most comfortable with. For instance, my strong case is PHP, so I let it do as much of the work as possible, but I know coders who do much of what I would do in PHP with javascript, because that's what they are most comfortable using.

Pricing is an important component in SAP-SD. Once an order is entered taking into consideration some major factors, the pricing procedure for the particular order is determined.

To start with first
Define a Condition table:
What is a condition table?
A table where the key fields are data combinations for which messages are triggered (and offered for processing).
For each data combination, there is a condition record in the table. The data part contains the actual message.
As mentioned above a condition table is a table which carries key fields for picking up the prices.
Define Access Sequences
The access sequence is a search strategy which the SAP System uses to search for condition records valid for a condition type.
For example, you can define for a price that the SAP System first searches for a customer-specific price and then for a price list price.
Recommendation
If you define your own access sequences, the key should start with the letter Z since SAP reserves this letter for the standard system.
Do not change access sequences contained in the standard SAP R/3 System.
Actions
1. Check to what extent you can use the access sequences contained in the standard SAP R/3 System.
2. Create new access sequences by copying a similar access sequence and changing it according to your needs. Specify an alphanumeric key which may have up to 4 digits and a textual description.
3. Maintain the accesses for the access sequence by specifying the condition tables in the desired sequence. With the sequence, you define the priority of the accesses. You can display combinations of key fields using possible entries.
4. Generating the accesses is no longer necessary as of 3.0, as this is carried out automatically. You can generate the accesses manually, if required, by choosing "Utilities".
Example
In pricing, you use a customer-material discount. The condition records you create are based on customer data from the document header and material data from each document item. The discount is only valid for 2% of your customers, however. Normally, this would mean that the system would needlessly search through every available item for 98% of your customers. In this case, pre step would improve system performance.
Define Condition Type
A characteristic of a condition. For example, in pricing, different condition types are used to distinguish between a discount that refers to a net price and a discount that refers to a gross price.
Price elements are represented in the SAP system by condition types. Price elements can be, for example, prices, surcharges, discounts, taxes or, freight, and are stored in the system in condition records.
You can, for example, define whether a discount is calculated as a percentage or a fixed amount using the condition type.
You specify an access sequence in every condition type. Thus, you define which fields the SAP system checks when searching for a valid condition record.
Note
The pricing procedure groups all condition types together which the SAP system is to automatically take into account during pricing for a business transaction (see the section "Define and assign pricing procedures").
Remember that you can only specify manually in a document those condition types which are contained in the pricing procedure.
You can change the outcome of pricing in the sales document manually. You can limit options for changing a condition type in this IMG step.
Recommendation

3. Maintain the detail screen of the condition type.
You can also assign a reference condition type if the condition types you are working with are similar. Then you will only have to maintain condition records for the reference condition type.
In addition, you can define the upper and lower limits for the value of a condition at condition type level. This way, you limit the amounts or the scale values in the corresponding condition records.
Define Pricing Procedures
The pricing procedure defines the conditions permitted for a document and the sequence in which the system takes these conditions into account during pricing.
A standard pricing procedure is defined in the standard SAP system. It contains conditions most commonly used. These include material prices, discounts, and surcharges, such as freight, or tax.
SAP Recommendation
Define your own pricing procedures which contain only those condition types which you use. Otherwise, the system makes un neccessary accesses to conditions.
Do not change the pricing procedures contained in the standard SAP R/3 System.
Actions
1. Create new pricing procedures by copying a similar pricing procedure.
o Specify a key with up to 6 characters and a description.
o For a procedure, specify the condition types in the sequence of their usage.

Analysing Task Audit, Data Audit and Process Flow History
Hi,
Internal Audit dept has requested a bunch of information, that we need to compile from Task Audit, Data Audit and Process Flow History logs. We do have all the info available, however not in a format that allows proper "reporting" of log information. What is the best way to handle HFM logs so that we can quickly filter and export required audit information?
We do have housekeeping in place, so the logs are partial "live" db tables, and partial purged tables that were exported to Excel to archive the historical log info.
Many Thanks.I thought I posted this Friday, but I just noticed I never hit the 'Post Message Button', ha ha.
This info below will help you translate some of the information in the tables, etc. You could report on it from the Audit tables directly or move them to another appropriate data table for analysis later. The concensus, though I disagree, is that you will suffer performance issues if your audit tables get too big, so you want to move them periodically. You can do this using a scheduled Task, manual process, etc.
I personally just dump it to another table and report on it from there. As mentioned above, you'll need to translate some of the information as it is not 'human readable' in the database.
For instance, if I wanted to pull Metadata Load, Rules Load, Member List load, you could run a query like this. (NOTE: strAppName should be equal to the name of your application .... )
