Fill-the-blank quiz font size

I would like to increase the font size in the text boxes or drop down boxes that the user has to fill in.
How can this be done?

Hello Henry,
Have reported this issue to the Adobe team, but cannot help you to solve it.
If you could replace the dropdown list by really to type words, there the style of the sentence itself is taken over.

    How do I create text that responds to the Increase/Decrease Font Size buttons in the browser? None of the pages respond to these buttons.

    I'm not sure iWeb produces text that responds to the size change buttons. I check some of my pages and none respond. And these are text boxes that have not been converted to images.

  • Font size in drop-down fill in the blank quiz questions.

    I've migrated an old Quiz from Captivate 4 to Captivate 5. All went reasonably well except for the fill-in-a-blank questions. Fortunately there are only relevatively few of these, but I've encountered a strange problem when I started to do this.
    I've set up a style which applies to the fill-in-a-blank question, using biggish text (30pt) because the viewers of the test will not have perfect vision. The text reproduces fine when I publish with the exception of the text in the drop down box. This is appearing as what looks to be about 10pt and not in keeping with the style that applies to the question.
    Here's what I mean...
    I've looked up and down the menus and in the helpfiles but I can't find out how to control the drop-down text size. Any help would be gratefully received as otherwise I'll have to abandon this type of question.
    regards,
    Henry

  • My default font size is set at 18px. Is this the default default font size for all users of ff 3.6+?

    I was developing a site in ff when I noticed other browsers were rendering the font size smaller than in firefox. Upon investigation I discovered that my ff 3.6 default font was Adobe Caslon Pro Bold 18px.
    I have never deliberately set this. My understanding was that all browsers default default font size was 16px.
    Has ff default font size changed from 16px to 18px?

    You're welcome.
    You can also see preferences that have changed as bold (user set) values on the about:config page.<br />

  • Unable to use all the feature of my email service (Juno on the web) like; font size/color, bolding, italics, highlighting etc why? Those features work through Internet Explorer but not Firefox.

    When I go to my Juno on the web through Firefox, I am unable to use the tool features such as:
    Font size / Color
    Bolding
    Italics
    Bullets
    Highlighting
    just to name a few. Yet when I bring it up through Internet Explorer these features work, plus the way Firefox reads my Juno the tabs are distorted (the page is not formatted correctly, I contacted Juno they said I should contact my modem company AT& T they said no so you are my last resort.. Please help resolve my issue, THANK YOU in advance for assisting with this matter.

    It is up to Juno to enable Midas, the Rich Text Editor which is built into Firefox, with one little line of code on every web page that has RTE for IE. There's nothing that you can do to turn that feature on your self, it has to be coded on each web page that has Rich Text Editing.
    http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midas-spec.html <br />
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Midas
    Their ignorance probably lies with their staff programmers only knowing how to do it for IE ''(their training and certificates are probably from the Microsoft cabal)'', and not realizing that Gecko and WebKit apps each have their own Rich Text Editor's, which require their own small line of code to enable those Editor's.

  • Will Adobe ever fix the UI text font size issues in CS6 apps?

    Having recently installed CS6 on my new Windows computer, I find some serious issues with font sizes in the user interface (and not only in Dreamweaver, but in several--but not all--the applicaitons). You'd think that with a 27-inch screen, font sizes wouldn't be a problem. And you'd be wrong.
    The irony is that some text is properly sized. Commands in the menus. For example. But the menu names are not. The text of items in the File tab is correctly sized, but the name of the File tab is not. In the Manage Sites dialog box, the title bar text is properly sized, but the text within, including button labels, is not. IN almost all of these cases, text is just plain way too small to read. It looks like the programmers made a HUGE boo-boo: they sized text in pixels, not only a no-no in web diesgn, but a no-no in applicaiton design.
    Because on a 27-inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080, UI text in Dreamweaver is all plenty large and readable, while on a 27-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1440, UI text all over the applicaiton is too tiny to read--and made worse by putting the text on a gray background, reducing contrast, yet another design no-no.
    CC is NOT an option--and properly should not be for any occasional user. Do not even think of suggesting it as a "solution."
    This is clearly a bug (did Adobe do any testing on higher-resolution screens before releaseing CS6?), and one I wonder if it is unique to Windows systems (as Apple has had similarly high-resolutiopn screen for its displays and iMac lines for quite some time now). Or is it uniquely a Windows 8 issue?
    Finally, is there at all a workaround? I can find nothing in the Settings dialog box that would control the size of UI text. Perhaps there is a text-based configuration file that could be modified to change the size of UI text. (Yeah, having configured autoexec.bat, config.sys, win.ini, and similar files back in the day, I do know my way around configuration files--if they are still used.)

    What made you think that you should complain to Adobe about Windows display problem?  Adobe and Microsoft are two different companies competing against each other.
    However, you might have display problem and the best way to resolve this is by going to:
    Control Panel >> Display
    Follow the online instructions.
    Please not, you go to control Panel from within the windows itself NOT from DW.
    Hope this gets you started or you can ask in the Windows Forum on Microsoft Website.

  • Change the Content Category Font Size??

    Hi,
    Can anyone figure out how to change the font size of the Content Category?
    thanks!

    Hi there
    Just a wee bit of clarification on the Content Categories.
    Certainly Build Tags *MAY* be used in the process, but they aren't exclusive and required with Content Categories. It's likely simpler to use an alternate TOC and Index for managing the categories.
    I post this information in the event someone comes along later and misunderstands Content Categories.
    Cheers... Rick

  • How can I fill the blank space in the example below?

    I have to fill using sql statement the blank space with the same description that appears below that belong to the same STTCKT. I
    am using a temporary table.

    There is no need in ROW_NUMBER. You can use simple query like below sample which cost 6% relative to the use of ROW_NUMBER which cost 94% (sort is havy operation with no index).
    DDL+DML:
    CREATE TABLE test( [STBK#] varchar(50), STTCKT int)
    truncate table test
    Insert into test values
    (null, 48035)
    ,('First Two Truck', 48035)
    ,(null, 48039)
    ,('First Two Truck', 48039)
    ,(null, 48046)
    ,('First Two Truck', 48046)
    ,(null, 48054)
    ,('KLS LOGISTIC, INC.', 48054)
    GO
    select * from test
    GO
    If all you need is SELECT with FILL then check this:
    select
    --[STBK#] ,
    STTCKT, [Fixed_STBK#]
    from test T1
    Cross APPLY (SELECT TOP 1 T.[STBK#] FROM test T WHERE T.STTCKT = T1.STTCKT and T.STBK# IS NOT NULL) T2 ([Fixed_STBK#])
    And you can use this query as well without CROSS APPLY
    select
    --T1.[STBK#] ,
    T1.STTCKT, T2.[Fixed_STBK#]
    from test T1
    LEFT JOIN (SELECT T.STTCKT,MAX(T.[STBK#]) [Fixed_STBK#] FROM test T GROUP BY T.STTCKT) T2 ON T1.STTCKT = T2.STTCKT
    If you are looking for update the original table please check this:
    UPDATE test
    SET [STBK#] = T2.[Fixed_STBK#]
    FROM test T1
    Cross APPLY (SELECT TOP 1 T.[STBK#] FROM test T WHERE T.STTCKT = T1.STTCKT and T.[STBK#] IS NOT NULL) T2 ([Fixed_STBK#])
    WHERE T1.[STBK#] IS NULL
    GO
    I hope this is helpful and answer your need, If not please try to clrify your needs and post your DDL+DML

  • Setting the default on font size

    using a template from numbers.
    and
    trying to reset the font size.
    can one not change the font size using a template?

    I am assuming you mean the font size in a table.
    I have not made many templates but here is what I just did:
    New document
    Selected the table and set the font size to 18pt
    In the sidebar next to "Basic" I clicked on the triangle and chose "redefine style from table"
    Saved the document as a template
    A new document created from this template has 18pt text in the table. New tables I create are created with 18pt text.
    Is that what you are looking for?
    If you use one of the other table styles from the sidebar, you will have to do the same thing to them as you did for the basic table style before you save it as a template.

  • How to keep the resized, bigger, font size while browsing back and forth in one window?

    I´m a newbie with Firefox. I like to use a bigger font size as my eyesight is not as good as before. There is one problem with Firefox: the font size goes back to smaller every time I return to the previous page. Also when the font is bigger I have to draw the page to the left and to the right to be able to read the text. I did not have this kind of a small nuisance with Opera. Help needed.

  • How do you resize the box and font size when adding comments

    We add numbers and comments to our  technical drawings but we cannot seem to control the font size or the color of the font.

    <<...I create the box sometimes it is 1 character wide...>>
    I'm not sure how are you getting that 1 character width sometime (that is really strange), ideally, it is always 10/12 characters width.
    <<...I would like to make the 1 character wide format as the default if it is possible... >>
    No, I don't think it is possible to make 1 character width as default. If someone wants 1 character width, just Click-n-Drag (like you draw a box).
    <<... I have to shorten it by click and drag and that takes time especially when I have to add 300 numbers...>>
    Copy/paste doesn't make sense here??
    If Outline and Background color is not needed, than why don't you use "Add or Edit Text Box" (aka Typewriter)
    Goto 'Tools' pane > Content > Edit Text & Objects > "Add or Edit Text Box"

  • CSS doesn't work at the report data font size.

    Greetings,
    I'd like to adjust the font size of the data in a report because it has lots of columns. I used the alternating row color template with little modification. Since the CSS put everything by default size = 12px: <br>
    * (line 2)
    font-size: 12px;
    <p>
    I had to add the snippet in the header part:
    <style type="text/css">
    td.t12data {
    font-size: 10px;
    </style> "
    <p>
    Then the font size of all data was changed but the data with font descriptor like:
    '<font color="#FF3522"> </font>'. The font size would NOT be changed to 10px, and stayed as 12px as the default. If I remove the color stuff, the size would be changed. Furthermore, the CSS class applied on those colored data are NOT as same as those regular data, say t10data. If I clicked them (CTRL_SHIFT_Y) in Firefox, it showed the default part, i.e. line 2 of CSS; but they are supposed to belong to the same CSS class, t10data.
    <p>
    My question is:
    1) If I still want to keep those colors, how may I solve the problem?
    2) Is there a way to change the color of a whole column? I tried to play with the column attribute but didn't succeed.
    Thanks.

    Hmm, I still could not find the reason why some rows in the table do not use the td.t10data style, instead the default style, the '*', ( from the FF WDE with CTRL+SHIFT+Y). So the font sizes are always 12px as:
    * (line 2)
    font-size: 12px;
    Also, since I use the javascript to change the color of some columns, the font size of everything of those columns are also the default style, no matter how I changes font size in the script like:
    td1.style.fontfamily='Arial';
    td1.style.fontsize='10px';
    Can somebody shed some light? Thanks in advance.

  • How can I increase the browser default font size?

    When clicking on 'tools' to got to 'options,' there is no 'option' to be found. Hence, I cannot go to tools to options to content to fonts and colors, and cannot change the default size of the browser. All documents I want to print from a website have the small font size.

    Changing the font size or color on the screen/monitor
    *does NOT affect the print size
    *can cause problems in displaying websites on the screen/monitor
    *See - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/settings-fonts-languages-pop-ups-javascript (it says near the top '''''"The Content panel contains options related to how websites are <u>displayed</u>."''''')
    Print font size is determined on the Print display
    *You can un-check "Shrink to fit" and then set your percentage, if you choose, but text may run off the right side of the printed page.

  • After a Adobe Pro XI update was downloaded (Windows) when creating a Comments Summary the text is now too large and unuaeable, how do I change the style and font size in a comments summary?

    Example of the Comment Summary

    Sabian- We tried the steps you posted on 3 computers and it did not resolve the problem for us.
    All-
    We have been manually reducing the font size in the comment summary (right-click > Edit Text). This makes the text readable, but it doesn't remove all the extra space or fix the flow. This is not ideal.
    Has anyone entered a bug report on this problem? I entered a bug report on another problem about 2 years ago and the problem was never fixed in the product...
    Thanks-

  • How to fill the blanks after field content?

    Hi,
    I have a problem about ABAP programming. As follow:
    data: txt char(20) type c.
    txt = 'text_vol '.
    Now I excute these codes in SAP abap workbench. The result is: txt
    = 'text_vol'. The blanks follow the 'tex_vol' is condense by system.
    How can I perform the function that make the system don't condense the
    blanks automaticlly?
    best regards!
    andy

    Hi Andy,
    If you use MOVE statement, then it will have blank spaces at the end.
    eg.
    data : l_temp(25) type c.
    Move 'Sample' to l_temp.
    write :/ l_temp.
    In above case, l_temp has only 6 words in a variable which can store 25 words.
    So the remaining space is blank. i.e. 19 blank spaces after word Sample.
    Best regards,
    Prashant
