Find errors in jsff code on deploy time

Hi all,
I am trying to build my application ear file with ojdeploy. Everything works fine, but I want to let the deployment stop, or 'crash', whenever there are errors in the java and/or jsff code.
On compilation errors in the java code this works out of the box (logical), but for errors in my jsff code not. I always get a succesful deployment even when tags are missing or malformed in jsff code.
Even when I have the <jsp-descriptor> <precompile>true</precompile> </jsp-descriptor> tags in my weblogic.xml, weblogic will not detect any errors in the jsff code in my adf library jar while installing the application.
I want to use automatic builds from a Hudson server, for this I think it is a must have to only build and deploy code in which there are no technical errors.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Be cautious with upgrading without understanding the consequences... 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.2 is a big upgrade, and will require you to upgrade your weblogic as well (for deployment).
11.1.1.5 (I haven't tested to see if ojdeploy will fail on jsff error in that release) would also require you to upgrade your weblogic, but is a bit less change from an architecture perspective (it's still JSF 1.2, whereas 11.1.2 will be JSF 2.0).

If you configure the mapping in the UI from the main design tree and select the name of your file operator under the tree node 'Flat File Operators' on the right hand side panel the properties should be displayed - one of these properties is 'Target Data File Name', enter the name of your target data file name.

Validation error in Tag Library at deploy time

I am trying to deploy a JSF2 app to NW CE 7.1 EHP1. This application deploy's fine to Tomcat. When I deploy to SAP it gives an error: Error in parsing [META-INF/primefaces-i.tld] TLD file in the following [D:\usr\sap\NCX\J00\j2ee\cluster\apps\com.sap\IDMear\servlet_jsp\IDM\root\WEB-INF\lib\primefaces-1.0.0.jar] JAR file.

From looking at the TLD XSD for JEE 5, the Description field should be allowed. Do you know why it is not comparing the TLD against the correct schema or if there is another explanation?

It looks like the 3rd party tld did not have the description in the correct order. It has been corrected in a new build.

Designer syntax errors in correct code.

I have added some trigger code to a bound item. The designer syntax checker finds errors in the code but the generated form runs correctly. It appears that the syntax checker doesn't like DECLARE. The code doesn't do anything and I believe it is fine but I would like to get the syntax checker to stop complaining about it. Any suggestions on how I might arrange things to stop the syntax error messages would be appreciated. Here is the offending code with error messages:

The Syntax Checker found the following errors:-

This will not work correctly in 32-bit Windows (or 64-bit) The type of wParam *must* be WPARAM, the type of lParam *MUST* be LPARAM, and for a dialog handler the return type should be BOOL. The old _export keyword no longer exists, and is not needed in
Win32. FAR is a macro with an empty body and its appearance in all places can be deleted. The quaint and confusing PASCAL keyword may still work, but it would be better to use the now-correct term CALLBACK. Since this is clearly antique Win16 code, there may
be other problems dealing with size of integers. The types int, long, DWORD, UINT and others all represent 32-bit values. The return type for window handlers must have the return type LRESULT, and for dialog handlers, BOOL. All wParam and lParam types must
be changed as I indicated. Note that for Win16, wParam was 16-bit and lParam 32-bit. For Win32, WPARAM, LPARAM and LRESULT are all 32-bit values, and for Win64 they are 64-bit values. Any place the code casts a pointer to an integer type, the code is inherently
incorrect. You must use types like INT_PTR, UINT_PTR, DWORD_PTR and other _PTR-suffixed types for such casts; in Win32 these are pointer-sized integer types (32-bit) and in Win64 they are pointer-sized integer types (64-bit). Types like int, long, DWORD, etc.
are 32-bit values in both Win32 and Win64. Converting code to run on Win32/64 from Win16 requires great caution, because the programming "standards" that were taught for Win16 did not plan on true platform portability, and programmers were taught
terrible techniques such as declaring wParam as WORD and LPARAM as long. And casting pointers to ints and back. All of these techniques lead to disaster.

Error-code when launching Time Machine from MacBook Pro

I´ve get this error-code when launching Time Machine: An unaspected error has acourd (errorcode -6584)

Sounds like OSX has lost track of where it is. Try a "full reset" of Time Machine, per #A4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.
If that doesn't help, try repairing your backups, per #A5 there.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

2) Resend Service Books (pre-BB10 devices only)

Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

There is no need to run the all.js (mozilla firefox\greprefs\all.js - resource:///greprefs/all.js) file. It is a Firefox JavaScript file that stores some default prefs and the Windows JScript program doesn't handle that file. You would normally only get that error if you double click the file.

Which works fine in the debugger, but in the session facade when I get an
Iterator on the Collection and cast the result to a SubDocPK I get a
ClassCastException. When I look at the type of the class in the Collection
returned by the container it is SubDocBean_mjdk3_EOimpl (I cannot remember
the exact name as it was at work and I am now at home)
Has anyone else found this problem or a way around, or should I just write a
DAO and get the collection myself?

Right, this is how finders work in BMP.
The ejbFindXXX implementation returns a collection of primary keys. The
container then takes this and returns a collection of remote or local
references.

If you can have a look at a cmp example in the samples that ship with the server. My guess is that the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml file is missing the <persistence-use> element which for 810 would look like:

I seem to recall that the elements might be slightly different in structure for the wls700 version of the DTD, so please check that (I cannot, I'm at home and don't have everything here).
Give that a try and see if it doesn't solve your compilation failure.
Also, the compilation should not be throwing a null pointer exception in a case like that, I consider that to be a bug.
