    Hi,
How to find the size of the schema in a daabase.
    Thanks,

    Mahi,
One more option, though not so clean would be use Data Pump and its estimate file size option for the schema. The estimate would tell you the info about the size of the schema.

  • How to change Default Finder Windows Size?

    Hi all:
New Finder windows show Macintosh HD and there is no problem in keeping the size or view options every time I open a new window (command + N).
I can change "New Finder windows show" to another folder and works just as well.
But when I open a folder in a new window (double click on an icon folder) the size of the window is very small and different from the window displayed by using command + N.
Finder saves and applies default view options to all windows without a problem, but not the default size or in other words:
default windows size is different from new finder windows size.
In Snow Leopard I could change default size of all windows holding down the Shift key while dragging and changing the size but in Mountain Lion it does not work.
I have also deleted all files .DS_Store but neither works.
I searched a lot but can not find a solution to this problem.
    Thanks.

As far as New Finder Windows (command+N) are concerned, there's no problem.
All other folder's Finder Windows I have not modified manually are displayed with the default size shown in the attached image. That is the window size that I want to modify.
    Thanks.

  • How do I find the size of my JPEG photos

I want to find the size of my JPEG photos so I know how many photos I can fit per GB on my flashdrive.
I know that my photos are in the "all images" section, on the left side  of my "Mcintosh HD" dialogue box, a box which contains just about everything in my computer.
I click on "all images" and then a list of all my photos show up in the dialogue box. Then I can click on a photo and it will show the photo, but not the size of the photo. I would like to know the size of my photos, ie how may MBs per photo. (Let's say I find out a typical photo I have has 2.3 MBs. Then I can divide 1000 by 2.3 and that gives me the number of photos per GB in my flash drive.)  Thanks.

    I'm using iPhoto 11 Version 9.3.2
Highlight or open a photo. In iPhoto 11, at the bottom right there is an i/info tab.
Selecting info should give you a window similar to this.
As for the difference in file sizes there can be a few possibilities.
    1) you may have periodically changed the resolution settings in the camera
    2) you may have resized/scaled or edited the original photos

  • Command for "How to find Cursor Size" in Oracle Stored Procedure"

    Hi
    Can u tell me....
How to find Cursor Size" in Oracle Stored Procedure........
    I want command for that........

why don't you try select count(*) from your_table;That requires running the same query twice - or rather running two different queries twice. Besides it still doesn't guarantee anything, because Oracle's read consistency model only applies at the statement level (unless you're running in a serialized transaction).
This is such a common requirement - users are wont to say "well Google does it" - it seems bizarre that Oracle cannot do it. The truth is that that Google cheats. Firstly it guesses the number on the basis of information in its indexes and refines the estimate as pages are returned. Secondly, Google is under no onus to kepp all its data and indexes synchronized - two simultaneous and identical queries which touch different Google servers can return different results. Oracle Text works the same way, which is why we can get a count with CTX_QUERY.COUNT_HITS in estimate mode.

Althought they do no hinder me from successfully running the project. these messages are annoying. I have seen many articles on the web but could nowhere find the exact schemas for that the above elements that I could add to the  DotNetConfig.xsd file.
Could somebody give me an idea how to create xsds for the elements above and include in the dotnetConfig.xsd.
I understand what needs to be done but not sure of the exact way to do it.
    Thanks,

You don't need to modify the dotnetconfig.xsd.  All you need to do is generate an XSD for your section and let VS know where it is at.
    1) Create your XSD using any of the various tools available or by hand.
    2) Copy your XSD into the <VSDir>\Xml\Schemas directory.
    3) Create a catalog file for your schema.
    4) Restart VS and it'll load the XSD and give you Intellisense.
Here's the MSDN documentation for it: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms255821.aspx

  • VS2013 - Something related to app config - How to remove "Could not find schema messages"

All of the sudden, I am getting many "Could not find Schema" messages in my Windows Form App.
Why is this occurring ?  How to fix it ?
I tried deleting the app.config and regenerating it.  That did not work.
    Thanks

    Thanks for responding.
I tried the suggested solution in the post you referenced earlier and it did not work.   Then I tried deleting the app.config and resestablishing that and that did not work.
I just tried another suggestion in the post you sent (below)... This DID work for me.
Quickest, easiest laziest way to solve the problem:
Right-click on the project icon and choose "Properties".
Go to the "Application" tab and choose another .NET target framework.
    Save changes.
Go to the "Application" tab and choose the initial .NET target framework.
    Save changes => problem solved!
I have seen this issue come and go before.   It appears to be a bug to me.  Why isn't it something that get fixed ?   Why is it occurring to begin with ?

  • HT5766 Where can I find the size of a download for a software update now?

    Hello,
Where can I find the size of a download for a software update now?
Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion (Mac OSX 10.8.3) this information is no longer available in software updates listing you get if you click on the Software Update menu item from the Apple menu.
I found the download size (often hundreds of megabytes for an individual update and sometimes a set of updates might amount to a few gigabytes) to be very helpful, and now that it seems no longer available (I can't even see it on the web page I came to for more information, thinking the download size would surely be specified there), it is frustrating. My current example is iTunes 11.0.3
I would greatly appreicate having this information back in the software updates listing, but since it is no longer available there, and I don't know where else to find it, if anybody can enlighten me to its whereabouts, I'd be grateful.
    Thanks and cheers!

  • How to find the size (in Mb) of a project in Aperture 3?

I do not know a quick way to find the size of the originals e versions in a project in Aperture 3.  Would any one know how to do this?
    Tks
    Pedro

Take a look in the "More Like This" section in the right-hand column for discussions about this.
The answer is: you can't.  Aperture is not so simply structured that you can select a group of Images and "weigh" them.
If needed, your easiest solution is to export the Images as a new Library and include the Originals.  The size of that Library is more than but close to the size of the Originals and the Versions.
