Find table information in iStore application

Hi,
I need to modify existing iStore application, so i require db table information they used.
In existing application some buttons are there like 'Save to cart' , 'Update cart' . If i select these buttons i need to find out what are tables to be updated. I have gone through iStore application code, i found out javascript function 'submitForm('Save.x','formName')' . I didnt understand well. Can anyone tell me how data transaction handled by the iStore application and how to find table names which are updated?
Its very urgent.. Please help me out...
Regards,
Sadanand & Babu

Babu,
As replied on a previous thread, only option is to enable debug and go through the collected log. Try to generate as much of log info as possible. Debug log methods may differ based on OAF or JTF pages.

  • How to find table information for a datasource?

    Hi,
Can you please tell me how to find table information for a datasource. I am not getting much help from help.sap.
I am trying to find table information for below datasources. We are creating DSO's for the below mentioned datasources, for some we have standard DSO's(0WBS_O06), for others I am trying to create
    0CO_OM_NWA_1,
    0CO_OM_NWA_2,
    0CO_OM_WBS_1,
    0CO_OM_WBS_6
    Please help me.
    Regards,
    Bob.

    Hi BOB,
Another option to find the table information...
inorder to get the tables names involved in that particular data source follow the below steps.
    1) ST05 --> activate the Trace
    2) RSA3 --> enter your data source (for ex: 0CO_OM_NWA_1)
    3) Execute
    4) Now goto ST05 -> deactivate the trace
    5) click on Display trace(F7) button
    6) Execute
    7) It will display the complete SQL trace
    8) Now from the Menu "Trace list" --> select "Combined Table Access"
it will display the complete tables list involved in that data source...
From Table name section you can get the list of tables involved in that data source.
I had traced and took the information of tables involved in that data source 0CO_OM_NWA_1
    0CO_OM_NWA_1
AFKO     Order header data PP orders
    AFVC     Operation within an order
    AUFK     Order master data
COSP     CO Object: Cost Totals for External Postings
COSPP     Transfer of the Order in the COSP Table to the Project
COSS     CO Object: Cost Totals for Internal Postings
COSSP     Transfer of the Order COSS Table to the Project
COVREF     Coverage Reference Table: All Processing Blocks
    COVRES     Table of Coverage Results
You can follow the same steps and find the tables for the rest.

Simple: If it doesn't show up, your system doesn't support it. Both programs require a 64bit operating system like windows 7 or OSX 10.6.8 at least.

  • How to find table name for the fields from Standard Extractor in CRM system

How to find table name of fields from the standard extractor in CRM system ?
e.g. We use LBWE TCode in R/3 system to find table name for the field from Extractor VCSCL(e.g.).
Likewise is there any way to find table name for the fields from Standard extractor like 0CRM_LEAD_I.

    Hi ,
Please find the link below for understanding BW CRM analysis.
    http://help.sap.com/bp_biv135/html/bw.htm
activate the CRM DSs by scenario:
    1) Activate the application component hierarchy (tcode RSA9). Changes made to the application component hierarchy in the CRM system can be transferred to the BW using the "Edit Application Component Hierarchy" (SBIW - Postprocessing of DataSources).
SAP Note 434886 must be implemented in CRM 3.0 before the application component hierarchy is activated.
    2) Activate the Business Content DataSources (tcode RSA5).
Select/enter the application component and choose Execute (F8).
To compare the shipped and active versions, choose the 'Select Delta' pushbutton. If there is no active version of the DataSource, it is selected automatically.
To activate the shipped version, choose the 'Transfer DataSources' pushbutton.
    3) Management of the versions of the BW-Adapter metadata (tcode BWA5). All DataSources are displayed that are managed by the BW Adapter.
As in transaction RSA5 (Service API Metadata Activation), the 'Select Delta' function can be used to select the inactive DataSources or compare shipped and active versions.
You can also go directly to the screen for maintaining DataSources that are managed by the BW Adapter.
The 'Compare Version' function makes a detailed comparison of the shipped and active versions.
All BW-Adapter metadata is considered when versions are compared:
    Header information (Table SMOXHEAD)
    Mapping information (Table SMOXRELP)
    Global selection conditions (Table SMOXGSEL)
    Attribute key fields (Table SMOXAFLD)
    Hope this helps.

  • How to get the real table information of a structure from the trace file?

I user the ST05 to trace a program to find the real table information of a structure in this program. But I found so many sql trace information in the trace file. So how can I find which information is useful for me to find the real table of a structure?

    Hi!
If you don't recognize some tables, because they belong to same application, then it's difficult.
Try to change interesting value. Afterwards you can search for 'INSERT', 'UPDATE' (and 'MODIFY'?) - that will leave only a small number of lines, which have to be analyzed in detail (e.g. have a look at them with SE16).

where can i find clear information about sap function modules?

where i can find all the detail info..
is there any sap transaction code for knowing about all function modules and there use?
    Regards

    Hi:
For documentation, you have to find it out in se37 but it is not neccessary every Fm would have.
Now question is about its used (if you know th e function module)-> go in se37-> put function module -> select where used list -> select used in like - program, class, BSP application etc -> click on ok; it would give the list of its used and just go in that find  how it is being used.
if you have to find the function module for table - > go in se11 -> select table name -> click on where used list -> select function module  interface and click on ok, it would give the list of  its used.
    Otherwise go in g o o g l e dot  c o  m.

Use a lower case initial on a bean property name.
    Instead of:
    <jsp:getProperty name="courseBean" property="Name" />try:
<jsp:getProperty name="courseBean" property="name" />The same will apply to other properties. Also, make sure you use the lower case initial on form field names. e.g. <input type="text" name ="name"> for use in <jsp:setProperty name="courseBean" property="*" />

  • Find deleted information from user_jobs in Oracle 10g

    Hello All,
I had scheduled a job in oracle 10g to run only once using dbms_jobs.
I wanted to find out how long the job took ( total_time) and what SQL it was running ( user_job.what) but the information about the job seem to get deleted from user_jobs once the job is completed.
Is there any other table/ view I can use to find these information?
Also, will it be possible to query the user_job as of previous time when the data was there? if yes, please also let me know what privilidges and setting is required. Currently, I just have basic developer priviledge.
Many thanks in advance for any help.

Information about how long a job took and what SQL it was running is not stored anywhere when you use DBMS_JOB. Once of the nice things about using DBMS_SCHEDULER rather than DBMS_JOB for job scheduling is that DBMS_SCHEDULER automatically logs timing information.
How long ago do you want to look at the data in USER_JOBS? If you are just trying to look back an hour or two ago, you may be able to use a flashback query. How far back you can go depends on your UNDO_RETENTION setting, the size of your UNDO tablespace, and the amount of UNDO that is generated by your system. The theoretical maximum you could flashback is 5 days, realistically, not many production databases can flashback more than a few hours unless someone has specifically identified the need to do longer-term flashback queries. The default UNDO_RETENTION is only 15 minutes. Plus, you're not guaranteed that you'll be able to flashback (that can be changed, but it's a pretty dangerous change because it will cause the database to stop if you run out of UNDO space).

Please do inform, if you have any valuable guidelines to achieve this
    Thanks in advance

I pretty sure this isn't possible. You could write something which uses JNI to call native methods, but you'd have to have methods avaliable to call. So suppose you wanted a process on a Windows machine to read the text in an instance of IE's address text box you'd first need a way to do this with Windows specific code. And I can't think how you'd do that - unless you are directly interacting with the OS. So I'm afraid there is no easy way to do this in Java, and even the very difficult way with JNI may not even be possible.
