Finding warehouse number with storage location

Hi all,
How can I find the warehouse number given the material, plant and the storage location? Thanks in advance.

You need to join two tables :
MARD - MATNR,LGORT,WERKS
MLGN - Here you get Ware house number
Check with LS24,LS26 Transaction and also check with MLGT Table

I got to know that we can find this by looking at the open Purchase Order or the Material Transactions for the transaction type of ‘PO Receipt’ whichever is the latest.
Can anyone please help me in framing such query.

Here is a hint
Use the mtl_system_items_b table to get the inventory_item_id.
Use it in the po_lines_all table to get po_header_id
Use it in po_headers_all table to get vendor_id
Use it in po_vendors to get segment1 (i.e. vendor#)

How do I find the Warehouse Number when creating a Tranfer Order?

Hi..
If you are creating Transfer Order with reference to an Outbound Delivery, THen you will find the warehouse number ont he Picking tab page of the Delivery Document Overview Screen.
The warehouse in the Delivery is determined by the assigment of warehouse Number to the combination of Plant and Storage location in the IMG --> Enterprise Structure --> Assignment --> Logistics Execution
If you want to do a transfer posting....
The other way is Go to table MLGN. and give the material number for which you want to cerate the transfer order and see it is stored in which warehouses.
Tcode LS24 will give the Stock Over View of Material per Warehouse.

Go to MM01 trxn enter Material Number and press enter and in the next screen select the plant/storage view
here maintain the plant & storage location
press Enter
you will see the Plant/Storage Screen
enter the details and SAVE
You can also use MMSC trxn code for the Same

i am not created warehouse for certain materials ,but suddenly plant -1000,st.loc-0001,wm-001 in these combination all materials have warehouse. i have to correct the problem plz guide me.

Hi,
There is a configuration to link warehouse number to plant-storage location combination. I think its in SPRO --> Enterprise structure --> Logistics execution node. (Assign warehouse number to plant and storage location. If the the entry is deleted from that table, your problem can be resolved.

hi,
normally during STOs creation system will do the availability check and finds in which storage location the stock is available for delivery/pgi and defaults it.PO will be created by the receiving plant .If you provide a storage location in the item details system will posts to that location during GR.I do not think so that at header level you can give a storage location for supplying plant.

You can use LX02 or LX03. In the tool bar click the third button which will give you the dynamic inputs from LDB(click the storage bin drop down and click on storage section). You can provide the storage section there.

Number of Storage location Manufacturing unit or tank wise

Dear ALL,
In a single plant i am having 4 manufacturing unit, and the raw material stock is maintain and monitored by 4 manufacturing unit wise. Also in each manufacturing unit number of tank availble to store material.
I am having 6 plants and in each plant no of manufacturing unit and in each manufacturing unit number of tank.
Client want to track material by manuf unit and tank wise.
It not looking feasible to generate storage location manufacturing unit wise or tank wise.
Please suggest how to work out.

Hi Akshay,
As in total you are having six plant belonging to a company code and in each plant you have 4 manufacturing units in which you have tank to store material.
The storage location key only has to be unique within a plant , you can use same storage location keys in each plant as per the raw material in each tank where it is stored.. By this you can define the storage location key according to the function of the storage location and set up uniform storage location structure for all plants.
For example for plant 2000 you can define storage location as per material . If you have define for plant 2000 5 storage location 0001, 0002,0003,0004 based on material . You can use same keys in other plants to make it material specific.

Closing stock with storage location

i am using MB52 transaction to findout closing inventory in each storage location for given list of stores. It's not comming in proper format.
some plz let me know is there any other transaction by which i can get abaove report as per following format

Availability check with storage location

Hi experts,
I have one problem in availability check.I will explain in steps.
There are two storage locations
RMMU: main storage location where GR will happen from vendor.
WPMU:WIP storage location from where material will be issued to production order.
A is fert material.
B is bom item (raw material) and in material master maintained WPMU production storage location.
Now after sales order(100 nos) and after mrp run we will get the Planned order for 100 nos and Purchase requisition for 100 nos for material B.Now we will do the GR for "B" in Storage location RMMU.
Now we will create the Production order for ''A''.After availability check in production order ,it will show the material availability.
The problem is that we maintained the prod.storage location as "WPMU''and in that no stock is there.It is in RMMU.Still it is giving availability of material.
Requirement is it check the stock in prod.storage location i.e. WPMU
Please throw some light on it.

Find out your checking rule maintained in Order Control OPJK for your order type and plant combination for both
Create(1) and Release purpose.
Then in t.code OPJJ and for that Checking rule and Checking group combination(Maintain in material Master) go to detail screen and don't activate check box for No Storage location inspection.
In this case system will check the available stock in Production storage location only.If it is not maintain then system will check at plant level in all storage locations.
If production storage location is not maintained either in material master or in BOM then maintain it.

HT1391 can I find my computer with the locator if it is turned off?

I cannot locate my Mac Book Pro. I bought it last fall. Its fairly new. Its the model that came out just before the mac books with retina display. But i have tried locating and tracking it with the find my iphone serivice on icloud. But the computer is dead and turned off, and my question is- can It still be located or tracked.

Not if Find My Mac is off and/or the computer isn't turned - that will only work if it's connected to a network and the computer hasn't been wiped and/or Find My Mac disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on it e.g. on websites/emails/notes/documents etc.

MIGO - Warehouse number and storage type required?

I am doing a 101 in MIGO.. but would like to know to which warehouse the material goes into...
the material might have been maintained in various warehouses, i would like to know which particular warehouse while doing a MIGO..
what are the factors which decides the warehouse in which material should go into?
I am an ABAPER, it would be great if you help me with tables or transactions..

Finding PO number with ITEM text as input

Hello
Is there any way/table/fm to list down all the PO that has a particular ITEM text without writing a program .
For eg , PO 123 , has an ITEM text 'aaaa bbbb cccc dddd' . Now i want to find out all the PO that has this particular text as its ITEM text .
