Firefox 20: why won't my add-on's load at startup?

My add-on's install easily the first time, then load in the current browser session, but then, when I restart Firefox, they no longer load. they are viewable from my Add-on's Manager list, and as far as I know they are not on the unsafe blocked list. If I disable each one, and then re-enable them, then they show up in the main menu and function properly, but only for that current browser session.
Does anyone know why the add-on's won't load permanently?

thank you Midhun and AaronMT for the responses. Midhun, as far as I can see, that only applies to desktop version Firefox. I guess I should mention, I'm using Firefox mobile 20 on Android 4.1.2.
AaronMT, I do have developer options enabled, but the 'Don't keep activities' option was unchecked. that's not the problem.
any other ideas?

Click on something below the Get Add-ons menu item on the left side of the Add-ons Manager tab.

Make sure you have Sync Podcasts selected under the Podcasts menu then click the Sync button bottom right side of the window.
Where it says: Automatically include: all unplayed / all new / all recent and to the right select all podcasts or selected.

My photos used to automatically load to my dell laptop from my phone into My Photo Stream. Now they do not. I havenever had this problem before.

Continuing this saga:
What does it mean to uninstall & reinstall PSE 10?
I did that, renaming SLStores not a fix, Disappointed (not shocked) at result:
Editor still hangs on loading, just as before. But real mystery is that it lauches directly into Organizer. No welcome screen. This was setting I had changed in attempted fix, trying to maybe get to Editor via Organizer. Obviously not what program is supposed to do out-of-box, nor what it does on my xp laptop.
Some file or files not deleted in uninstall were used at launch. It is not the setting or pref going straight to Org that is the problem. That was created as attempted solution.
But this shows the persistence of mystery file(s) that ARE probably the cause. What & where are they?
-- Is there a way to find the files used when launch attempted? Event viewer doesn't afaik.I know how to find "modified", but not same oc.
-- Application Data & Local Application Data have Adobe folders, some specific to Elements. I should have deleted these in uninstall, have since deleted obvious ones. I may delete everyting Adobe.
-- I would try install on my D drive but often programs wont work from there, and bad file on C might still get in the way. Any thoughts?

Why won't the add-ons appear when I click on "Get Add-Ons"?

I've been trying to find new add-ons for Thunderbird and Firefox, but the "loading" button comes up, then a box that says "What are Add Ons" and goes into detail. Says they will show up when connected to the internet. I am connected, but nothing shows up. I don't want to have to get rid of Firefox and Thunderbird and start over again. Someone must know something that is going on with this. Any help is appreciated.

Since OS X 10.7 now has a Bengali keyboard, it seems likely this will be added to iOS in the near future.

Why Won't ICal add attendees from my Address Book

My understanding is that if a contact is in my address book then I should be able to invite them to attend an event. However, when I enter the event in edit mode and move to the add attendee field and type in the name of the attendee it just stays there as text - it doesn't enter the name from the address book. This has only started happening recently - any feedback is most welcome

Unfortunately you are running into one of the limitations of running the new MobileMe calendar under Leopard 10.5. While it does not mention this behavior specifically this is a good article to read: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4330
I tried adding my own MobileMe account to a 10.5 system and had the same experience you indicated. Under 10.6 I am able to add attendees from my Addressbook without issue.
You have two options at this point:
1. Upgrade your system to 10.6 (if your computer has an Intel processor Apple > About this Mac) as the afore mentioned article suggests -- http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A
2. Stop using MobileMe and use your calendars in the "On My Mac" section. These calendars will not sync with MobileMe but will feed off the Addressbook in the manner you describe.
3. Chat with MobileMe support to confirm this behavior you and I are experiencing is "intended". -- I'm fairly confident it is but it doesn't hurt to check. -- http://www.apple.com/support/mobileme/

Why won't mail add contact to address book?

When I click on the email address in the "From" field of a message in Mail, I get the option to "Add to Address Book." But it doesn't actually add the contact; when I search my address book forby that name, nothing comes up. When I then go back to Mail, I again get the "Add to Address Book" option. I "Add" again, then click "Show Contact Card," and I see something like "740ACE68-521B-4FDC-AA9B-42583457345...:ABPerson." When I click "Open with Address Book," again there's no entry.
Running OS 10.7.5 I've run Disk Utility to Repair Permissions, but that hasn't helped. I've looked for any files including "Address Book" in Preferences and Cache, but there aren't any.
Any ideas??

Just solved the problem myself after finally finding someone else had the problem. Had to change permissions of Users/[Username]/Library/Application Support/Address Book/AddressBook-v22.abcddb

It's been 2 weeks since I downloaded mozilla. I have to go back to internet explorer to go to my bank sites. One won't load at all and the other one disconnects from the internet.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Firefox for Android won't remember menu setting for "load desktop version" ("Last ned desktop-sider"n norwegian)

Have tried this on both release, beta and nightly versions.
Also have problem with AdBlock Plus and AdBlock Edge settings.
Some settings are not saved, and there is no way to edit filter list or add an image/ad from right-click menu
(but I guess that question is better asked in the AdBlock groups :-)

But why doesn't Firefox remember this setting?
Most pads have similar resolution to desktop PCs.
And then one would want desktop-pages all the time.
A bit unnecessary to have to install a plug-in for that.

Why Won't This Digital Camera Movie Load Into iPhoto

I shot 186 photos and 12 movies with my Canon digital camera this past week while my wife and I were on vacation. The photos and 11 movies (all about one minute or less) loaded just fine but my longest one (3 minutes which is the maximum for my digital camera) will not load. Is there a maximum time limit for digital camera movies that I have exceeded with iPhoto?

when you say "will not load" do you meant it won't open in Quicktime or it didn't download into iPhoto?
This is what I do;
When iPhoto 5 first came out I really think it was programmed to import the smaller 30 sec video clips that cameras were taking at the time. Since then, digital cameras, at least my Canon S2 can take clips as large as your memory card can hold. The first time I tried to download my images and movie clips with my new camera, iPhoto stalled at the movie clips. I wasn't going to take any chances messing up my iPhoto Library so I started using Image Capture to download all my images and Movie clips. I actually like doing it this way a lot better. My movie clips are downloaded into my Movies folder where I then put them in a dated folder.
My photos are downloaded into my Pictures folder, where I then put them in a dated folder. I import the dated folder into iPhoto. I also keep all dated folders from photo downloads in the Pictures folder till I get enough Movie folders and Photo folders to fill a DVD. I burn them and then delete them from the hard drive.
This way I have the photos in iPhoto and I also have just the photos backed up to DVD.
The Movies I keep on the hard drive in their dated folders until I use all the clips for my iMovie projects for the Year. I then make sure they are all burned to DVD, then I delete those from my hard drive.
Using Image Capture to download images and video clips:
Open up Image Capture which is found in the Applications folder.
When it is opened, go to Image Capture/Preferences
Under the General button choose
Camera: When a camera is connected, open Image Capture.
The next time you connect your camera Image Capture will open.
In the window that opens you will see an Options button. Click on that button to set your options.
To find out more about Image Capture (it can do a lot more) Click on Help in the menu bar when Image Capture is open.
iPhoto: How to Change the "Open Automatically" Preference
If you find you can't change any of Image Captures preferences or can't access any drop down menus or they are greyed out, check to make sure Image Capture is loose in the Applications folder and not within a sub folder.

I am totally unable to load Farmville, Bingo, Bingo Blitz, DoubleDown Casino and Games from the homepage of Facebook. If I go to IE I can load them.
