lacks a working keygen magic tag, and seems to be
lacking a crypto object. Even testing this object with javascript
causes javascript errors (execution on page stops).
Expecting to have to support a lot of these soon (as X.509 CA
customers) so I'd like to get some insight into how this will
be supported as the product develops.
This problem is related to the p12 download query.

Sorry, the "crypto" object and related features do not yet work in the multi-process architecture ([https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis "Electrolysis"]) used in Firefox for Android. We have filed this bug report about this issue:

We do plan to fix this bug (it will need to be fixed before desktop Firefox starts using Electrolysis), but we don't yet have a specific plan for when it will be fixed.

Anybody else having problems using alt+ANY_OTHER_KEY in Firefox for Android?

I am using Verizon Droid (original) with Froyo, unrooted.
Currently even with alt pressed, I am getting the original character (in white on the keyboard), not the alt character (in yellow on the keyboard).
I noticed this occurring when I tried to enter my Firefox Sync username/password.

There's a bug in Firefox for Android that means you need to hold the ALT key down *while* pressing the number key (unlike other Android apps where you can release the ALT key before pressing the next key). Does this work for you?
We will fix the bug in a future release, so that the keyboard will work just like in other Android apps.

Auto refresh or reload a page on Firefox for Android ?

Is there a way to auto reload or refresh a page on Firefox for Android ?
I looked at the extensions but I could not find any. I am using my tablet for Google Drive Slides and unfortunately their publish web page does not force the browser to refresh a page so the content do not change. The only solution I found is to auto reload a page. Dolphin has this add on but the full screen does not hide the status bar. Firefox full screen hides the status bar but there is no auto reload a page extension.
Can someone help please?

How do I get Firefox for Android to download and install?

I had Firefox installed on my Android tablet, an Asus TF300T. I was notified there was an update so I clicked to let in install. I avoid auto updates as I need to use a website that is always a couple of versions behind in compatibility. Well, the update would not download and I tried several times. It just seems to time out (error 495 is reported). I tried uninstalling Firefox to attempt a fresh install. This has worked with other apps that were being difficult when installing updates. Now I still can't get Firefox for Android to complete a download in order to get it installed. What's the deal with this latest version? I'd like to get Firefox back on my tablet but the options are extremely limited and frankly the amount of help on the website is also extremely limited. Any help would be appreciated.

According to a random website... the HTC Wildfire S uses a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. This processor unfortunately does not support the full ARM version 7 instruction set, so Firefox cannot run on it.

Due to the security concerns from Heartbleed and Steve Gibson's excellent coverage on certification revocation, I have set "When an OCSP server connection fails, treat the certificate as invalid" on my desktop Firefox and now want to do the same on Firefox for Android. I cannot find anything in the settings menu to allow this. Is it done through about:config and if so, what is the setting name there?

Key Generation in console

I have defined key generation in console .I need some information in key generation such as ,if i define None ,range and Qualifed Range.
Where it effect and what are significance of it.
Secondaly., We create clone in Import manager and then we do mapping to remote key to the clone of the main table. I am looking for the business significance and techanical signifiance of it.

If you choose
NONE: - Then remote key will not be generated automatically and has to be applied explicitly either using import manager or in data manager.
RANGE: - Here we can specify a range using TO and FROM. This generates the key automatically for that client between that range.
Qualified range: - Here we specify a range for a qualified table for key generation.
Keys are generated on a per value basis i.e. MDM automatically generates keys for the specified single-valued lookup field based on values you specify
using the Range property. You can specify Qualified Range values by selecting the
single-valued lookup field from the drop-down list and specifying From
and To values for each lookup table value.

Key Generation, doesnt work

I want to generate new Material Number automatically for new Materials
I have done the following steps
- I have set Key Mapping to YES in Products main table
- In the remote systems I added a new remote system called SAP_ECC
- In this remote system I set the Key Generation to Qualified Range and set the Look Field to Material Type, also fill the Qualified Range to something like this
[NULL] 9990000001 to 9999999999
ZHOR   9010000001 to 9019999999
ZVER   9020000001 to 9029999999
ZHIB    9030000001 to 9039999999
- In the syndicator I configured a port called TO_ECC to work with SAP_ECC remote system
- Mapped the [Remote Key]/[Value] to MATNR field in iDOC MATMAS05
In the Preview pane I only see Material Numbers (MATNR) which I have manually edited    its mapping value. Material Numbers are empty for new Materials.
Please tell me. What I'm missing?

In my experience with Key Generation, the keys are only created for the remote system once a Syndication job has actually processed the record. I'd guess that this is so in order to minimise the amount of work done by the MDM Server and to avoid "wasting" keys.
To see that it does work : execute the Syndication job then refresh the Record view (press F5) in the Syndicator. The Destination Preview tab should now contain the newly generated key.

When we are creating a remote Sytem we have a filed called Key Generation , where we can specify the from , to Range.
Can any one provide me the business scenario where this key generation is used?
I have an idea about key mapping which is used to differentiate filed values which are different in connected remote systems.

Hi Venki,
The key generation is a very useful concept.
For Key Generation = Range, From=100, To= 200:
You need to map the Remote key to MDM_Material field during syndication in which you want to maintain the value.
So the first time you syndicate data, 100 will be assigned to the MDM_Material field for the syndicated record.. so on..
It gets updated to your field only after syndication and you can see it on edit key mapping against the record.
For Key Generation with Qualified range:
You need to select the lookup table, based on whose values you want value to be maintained in MDM_Material.
And for each value in the lookup field, you can select the range.
Example: Assigning Material number based on Account Groups.

Firefox for android doesn't load all my passwords and corrupts bookmarks

Firefox for Android doesn't load all my passwords on my tablet (Lenovo).
Also, syncing corrupts my bookmarks on my desktop and laptop by inserting bookmarks which I have deleted days ago..
It syncs through all three devices and I know that it syncs because when I sync from my desktop, all three devices have the same time-stamp of when they synced.
It seems as though, if you have two usernames/passwords for the same login address, such as 2 Gmails - there is no dropdown which shows both emails/passwords from which to choose from.
This is all very frustrating, especially when I'm out and only have my tablet and I need to login somewhere when I'm with a client, and I can't login because Firefox/Android doesn't show my login info or the bookmark that I need is not there, because my bookmarks are corrupted after a sync.
I have lost clients because of this.

I understand that there are some issues with sync between three devices. Specifically, there is an issue with corrupt bookmarks and passwords that are not stored.
Please make sure these settings are set:
* [[Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms with your information]] * [[Usernames and passwords are not saved]]
* [[Using Master Password on Firefox for Android]]- the password manager addon for mobile devices may benefit in this situation.
However on mobile, specifically for Gmail signin, accounts.google.com can store a few mail accounts, however you would have to add an account by clicking on "Sign in with a different account". In Firefox, passwords are stored by website in the password manager.

How to view pdf files without downloading them on firefox for android

I use an Electronic Medical Record program using Firefox for android on a a Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2 tablet. I need to view patient pdf files on the tablet. So far, the only way I have been able to accomplish this is to download the file first. It would be more efficient if I could just view the pdf file on the Galaxy tablet without having to download it. Is it possible to do this with Firefox for android? Thanks.

When I click on a link in a web page at points to a MIDI file (that has a .mid file extension), I receive a error stating that it cannot play the audio file. In the desktop version of Firefox, there typically is a way to associate external applications to execute "something reasonable" with the file. This presumably means that Firefox first downloads the file, and then executes the external command on the temporary downloaded file to view or play the file. Does it work similarly in Firefox for Android?

How to exctract/backup a client certificate from Firefox for Android similar to question #1000240 but for the latest Firefox Beta for Android?

As in #1000240 and in #1032181, I've installed a StartSSL login certificate in my Firefox for Android and having a problem with extracting/backuping it to use with another device/browser.
I'm using the latest Firefox Beta for Android (35.0) at present; the Android version is 4.1.2, my phone model is Sony LT26i (Xperia S), so neither of the aforementioned questions asked at the Mozilla Support website do not contain any solution to the given problem.
Any chance to recover the certificate?
P. S. I haven't rooted my device; if getting a root is the only possible way to recover the certificate, I may consider doing so.

You can try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/copy-profile/ If that does not retrieve the file then see below.
If you know the name and path of the file you can get it using run-as function of adb. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18471780/android-adb-retrieve-database-using-run-as
If you end up down here you'll need root to be able to navigate the file system. I don't know the file name, though it is likely in your profile folder which can be determined by visiting about:cache in the Firefox address bar. It will be similar to /data/data/org.mozilla.firefox_beta/files/mozilla/$RANDOM.default/
