You can ignore (CSS) errors in the Tools > Error Console.<br />
Those errors are only useful if you develop websites and want to check the HTML/CSS and JavaScript code for errors.<br />
Most errors are code for other browsers like IE or browsers on other platforms or just typos or the result of bad coding.<br />

    Application is working fine in other browser except Firefox. While loading application it triggers following error on console.
    Expected declaration but found '*'. Skipped to next declaration. @

    * ''filter'' — you're probably using the Internet Explorer notation, which won't work in other browsers. As for Firefox, it doesn't support anything besides url() until Firefox 34.0 (the current release is Firefox 32.0).
    ** https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/filter
    * ''-moz-opacity'' should be '''opacity'''. I can't imagine why you're using the prefixed property. Support for it was dropped all the way back in Firefox 3.5, and the unprefixed one has been supported since Firefox 0.9.
    ** https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/opacity
    * ''#cccccc0'' should be '''#ccccc0''' or maybe '''#cccccc''' — I can't know which color you intended.
    ** https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/color_value
    As for the remainder of the errors, there's no way to tell what they're about. Run your stylesheets through the validator to find out:

  • Workaround for "Expected expression but found end of line" error

    I have the following code
    tell application "Mail"
    set mymailList to {"[email protected]", "[email protected]", "[email protected]"}
    set myattachmentList to {"Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A1.xls", "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A2.xls", "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A3.xls"}
    set n to count items in mymailList
    set i to 0
    repeat n times
    set i to i + 1
    set var1 to item i of mymailList
    set var2 to item i of myattachmentList as alias
    set newmessage to make new outgoing message with properties {visible:true, subject:"Report", content:"Blah Blah Blah"}
    tell newmessage
    set sender to "Sam <[email protected]>"
    set visible to true
    make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {address:var1}
    tell content to make new attachment with properties {file name:var2} at after last paragraph
    end tell
    activate
    send newmessage
    end repeat
    end tell
    I would like to be able to paste the MailList and MailAttatchmentList values from a spreadsheet so that it would look something like this:
    tell application "Mail"
    set mymailList to {
    "[email protected]",
    "[email protected]",
    "[email protected]"
    set myattachmentList to {
    "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A1.xls",
    "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A2.xls",
    "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A3.xls"
    set n to count items in mymailList
    set i to 0
    repeat n times
    set i to i + 1
    set var1 to item i of mymailList
    set var2 to item i of myattachmentList as alias
    set newmessage to make new outgoing message with properties {visible:true, subject:"Report", content:"Blah Blah Blah"}
    tell newmessage
    set sender to "Sam <[email protected]>"
    set visible to true
    make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {address:var1}
    tell content to make new attachment with properties {file name:var2} at after last paragraph
    end tell
    activate
    send newmessage
    end repeat
    end tell
    Is there something that I can put at the end of each value so that I avoid the "Expected expression but found end of line" error?
    Thanks!
    Sam

    You didn't need to post the entire script - just an example of the list format would have done
    Anyway, AppleScript uses option-return as a 'soft' return/line continuation character, so:
    set mymailList to {¬
    "[email protected]",¬
    "[email protected]",¬
    "[email protected]
    (where ¬ indicates an option-return) will work. I'm just not sure off hand how you'd automatically insert option-return characters coming out of Excel...

  • Deserialization error: unexpected XML reader state. expected: END but found

    I have a JWSDP (on weblogic 8.1 SP2) web service that is supposed to return a string that contains a small XML file. The client can call and invoke the service just fine and the service runs. I stumbled upon this exception when I tried to send a complex type as a return parameter. The sequence in which the server sent the components of the complex type was different from the one the client artifacts expected. And because the deserializer generated by xrpcc can't survive this, it throws the exception that's bothering you.
    It may or may not be the same case with you, this is merely what I had to find out.

  • [Solved] Disable firefox error console?

    I have mapped two mouse gestures to the same function in firefox using two different extensions. I know this sounds really stupid but it is absolutely necessary! As a result, the error console opens every time I start firefox. The messages tab is displayed but no message shows up. This is very annoying so does anyone know an about:config option or a jar I can unpack and edit to stop it from showing up?

    Ok after getting vague help at best from irc.mozilla.org I went grepping. I grepped xulrunner-1.9.0.11/chrome and firefox-3.0/chrome for all occurences of 'console.xul' and when I found one, I went into the corresponding file and commented it out. Problem solved! (In a horrible way)
    This means I can't access it even if I wanted to. But that's ok because many console extensions make the built in console obsolete. I suppose the way to do this without wasting space would be to find out how to compile xulrunner and firefox so that they come with no console. But I imagine that would be difficult.

  • Flex build errors and warnings not in English but in Dutch

    Hello Flash Builders,
    I'm using Flash Builder 4 beta and both Flex SDK 3.4 and 4.0 beta 2. The problem I have is pretty annoying. Many error and warning descriptions, which you see in the "Problems" pane in Flash Builder, are in Dutch. Why? I do not know. I never told it to and I can't find anywhere in the settings an option to change it. I did not download the Flex SDK in Dutch, if that's even possible. Unless they forced me to, because they found out I live in Holland I think I would like Dutch compile error descriptions.
    Though I am Dutch, most of the time the Dutch descriptions are fare more difficult to understand than the English versions. And looking up an error when you don't know what it means is also pointless, cause the most common language on the net is ofcourse English and not Dutch.
    Someone knows how to change the language of the compiler error and warning descriptions?
    Any help would be great!
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
    DBNetLib (Database Network Library) errors occur when the BizTalk Server runtime is unable to communicate with either the MessageBox or Management databases. When this occurs, the BizTalk Server runtime instance that catches the exception shuts down and
    then cycles every minute to check to see if the database is available.
    Check if there is any server restart activity happening every night?
    Alternatively, you might need to
    Set the SynAttackProtect registry setting as described in
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/899599. Additionally,
    look at the Group policy for that SQL server to be sure that the Group Policy does not periodically UNDO the setting change that you did above.
    Refer:
    [DBNETLIB][ConnectionWrite (send()).]General network error. Check your network documentation.
    Other possible causes could be
    1) Low hardware specs (Could be hard disk memory issue, check the free space on the server)
    2) Sharing one server or disk for more than one group of BizTalk databases
    It could also be a network card issue that could we worked around by turning off TCP Chimney using the following command:
    Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED
    For more information, see
    Microsoft support article 942861.
    Refer for details:
    Avoiding DBNETLIB Exceptions

    I have had this problem and I found that I was sending elements in a different order than the order specified in the WSDL. The elements don't all have to be present, but any that are present need to be in the same sequence.

  • Firefox won't connect to any website, but other browsers will.

    When I enter something in the URL bar -- google.com, localhost, http://127.0.0.1/ an IP address, there's a split second flash, then the bar becomes empty again and nothing has happened. It looks like Firefox isn't even trying to connect to the internet.
    Yesterday, all was well when I was running FF on Windows 7. After the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro, Firefox failed. I upgraded again to Windows 8.1, hoping for the best, but it's the same problem.
    I have walked through the firewall issue, several times (the only one running is Windows' built-in firewall). I eventually uninstalled Firefox, including all my custom settings, and reinstalled from scratch, twice. And even this pure, clean version of Firefox will not connect to the internet.
    I'm a computer-literate web developer and would be happy to look at log files, or run some tool (Fiddler?) to see what's happening at a low level, if only I knew where to look.

    Others with similar problems please look at the article

    MM..,
    mm... That just about sums up my thought on reading your question. Rather odd this one. I will list some brief ideas and number them to make them easier to refer to or comment on.
    Obviously this does not affect all Firefox 27 on Windows 8. It must be something fairly specific to your setup. I have no idea what your problem is and you have tried some of the obvious troubleshooting steps.
    Rather a general shotgun approach but the best I can do is suggest this list
    # Clean Install <br />Presumably you will have tried deleting the program path files in order to get a clean install.<br /> [[Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems#w_5-reinstall-firefox]]_5-reinstall-firefox <br />(See also note about ESR install)
    # Firefox SafeMode will also have been tried <br /> [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]] <br />Remembering to disable or uninstall plugins, safemode does not do that.
    # Try a new clean additional test Profile. <br /> [[Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles#w_creating-a-profile]]_creating-a-profile
    #Windows Safe Mode
    # Install and try Firefox ESR <br /> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/
    #* As a developer you are probably interested in using that anyhow. <br /> Either a customised install as an additional browser <br /> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Testing_pre-release_versions#Installing_multiple_versions <br />Or use the unofficial Firefox portable. http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox-portable-esr
    #* Helps rule out: Firefox code or feature regressions, Corrupted program files
    #* Should quickly enable you to see a working Firefox again
    # Run scans for malware problems with multiple tools
    #* [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]
    # Is it only network problems ? <br /> Confirm you are you able to open local html files on the same partition ?
    # Firefox's Network Console should throw light on the situation. There is also the Firefox Error Console and Profiler (Profiler is now built in)

  • I think the error console might be a source of memory and lagging errors

    I notice that if I open the Firefox Error Console logs that the error listings are fast and frequent (which is okay if the browser is working past them). However, after using Firefox v2 and upward I am now pondering if the error log might be the source of the hard-to-kill lagging and memory issues. I note that as the longer Firefox runs, the longer the error log must grow as well as the number of page fault calls which all eats up memory or requires more frequent disk swap paging to record it all. The longer it all runs, the bigger the error log goes.
    Since the error log probably gets more leeway on memory cleanups and CPU hits (to retain accuracy) this eats up more processor time and more hard-to-kill memory space, which then kicks in the system's Paging File causing more disk swapping.
    My suggestion is simple, create an ABOUT:CONFIG option to, clip off the error log once 100 (or user-defined) errors are hit. Delete the oldest errors, keep the newest until they get pushed off the rotating stack. Obvious problems with this are first renumbering rolls (deleting 001 and changing 002 to oo1 and so on also eats up pointless CPU cycles). Having an ever-growing numbering stack would hit an out-of-bounds error eventually (delete 001, number latest error 101, and so on).
    A rotating "ERROR ROLLOVER LIST POSITION MARKER" is simpler.
    Just have a variable called "ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER" and it holds a variable of 001 to 100. Whatever numerical value of the "ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER" is marks where the text value of the error listing is named "ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER".
    Let us use for example that the last error on the rolling error list was at position 087
    Text value for error list position 087: [ reference to undefined property ]
    The value of numeric variable "ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER" would be 088
    The text value for error list position 088: [ ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER ]
    When we get the next new error, the variable numeric value of "ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER" would become 089
    The text for error list position 089 would become: [ ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER ]
    The text value for error list position 088 would become the text of whatever the current error was.
    In this manner you can keep a simple quick list, save a bundle of memory, and in the event of a crash, you look for ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER values and you know exactly what the last error was and the 99 that preceded it.
    When the ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER hits 100, then you simply push that to the 001 location when the next error hits and after the next error, the ERROR LIST ROLL MARKER becomes 002 and that current error text overwrites the 001 location.

    Hi, I managed to solve the errors (kind of) by using this code.
    for (var i:int = tower1BulletArray.length - 1; i >= 0; i--)
    if (tower1BulletArray.parent)
    tower1BulletArray[l].parent.removeChild(tower1BulletArray[l]);
    tower1BulletArray.splice(i, 1);
    However, the problem still persists that the bullets stay in the screen after I change the scene. Any solution? Thanks!
