Flash for the Jamaican Gov, anyone?

So I am a Peace Corps volunteer in Jamaica and work in
conjunction with the Ministry of Health. We kinda have a problem in
our hospitals with people not knowing how to correctly to a toilet.
People tear the bathrooms apart for some reason. Anyway, we would
like to do a flash cartoon explaining how to properly use a flush
toilet: Don't take the backs off, don't throw trash down in the
toilet, water conservation and, you know, aim. I've tried to brush
off my Flash and Toon Boom skills from a while back, but I'm not
really getting too far with it, along with my lack of time to
really work on it.
I was wondering, would anyone be interested in putting
together a short flash flick about proper toilet use that will play
on large screens in the waiting room of between a 25% to 100% of
the island's hospital waiting rooms and possibly a good bit of the
health centers? I don't have any money, and I'm pretty sure the
Jamaican gov has less than I do, so I'm not really sure about
payment, but you can tag the video with all your credits and what
have you. Or maybe we can work something else out.

It isn't officially supported.. and you certainly can't download it from adobe.. From the release notes for mobile firefox:

It sounds as if your browser and some of your apps are not color-managed. This is pretty typical. Even IE9 is only partially color-managed.
You can expect color-managed and non-color-managed applications to show you different things with the same images. How different will depend upon how different your monitor color profile is from the image's color profile.
For web publication and most general use, experts usually advise saving images with the sRGB profile. If such images, saved through the Save for Web & Devices function, look different to you than you expect, it may be that your input images have previously been saved in another color space.
You should really try to get your head around color-management by reading more on it. It can seem baffling and it's difficult to understand without some background. A quick web search turns up many overviews. Beware, though, even people writing articles sometimes don't fully understand it.

Flash for the Palm Pre

Now that flash is on general release where do I go to download the Palm Pre version?

It seems any post or forum that Adobe doesn't like gets "frozen" out when discussing Flash for the Palm Pre. The missing Palm Pre Flash and the "shift of blame" by Adobe to Palm has been a common theme (see http://forums.adobe.com/message/2748422#2748422 as an example) is becoming tiresome.
Yet if you ask Palm they tell you its nothing to do with them, why would it be? That is such a silly dead-end statement that I suspect Adobe are far to embarrassed by what's actually happened. If they want to prove me wrong then how about they release the flash to me rather than Palm? LOL now, there's a novel idea!
I suspect this has something to do the popular rise of Android, an operating system for mobiles that was still in design when webOS for Palm Pre was already established. Yes:
Run the Keychain Access utility found in \Applications\Utilities
In the category column (on the left side of the utilities' window), select "All Items."
In the right column look for your Network Name. It will have a "Kind" of "AirPort network password."
Delete every entry that has both your Network Name with this Kind.
What can I do to test or reset?
You can completely erase all the base station's passwords by performing either a "hard" or "factory default" reset. You can also temporarily disable these passwords for up to five minutes so that you will have enough time to change them using the AirPort Utility, by just performing a "soft" reset. I would recommend this one first.
This would also be a good time to consider using WPA or WPA2, instead of WEP, as WEP is no longer considered secure.
I got the airport extreme based used with no softward and set up with reset on airport base and followed instructions.

Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

How about some flash for the ipad

I have read many posts on flash and apples ios. All parties have valid points. I am a student and am very interested in the capability of using digital books. Unfortunately most of these are in flash. I have been very pleased with my ipad but I must say, without the choice of being able to use flash it is no more than just a toy. I believe if apple wants to be serious about their touch devises being implemented outside of games and something to be used to just pass the time they need to at least allow the customer to decide if they would like to sacrifice power on the device in order to expand the capabilities. It is a shame that these issues cannot be resolved to benefit the customer.

The problem wasn't with Apple. Adobe could never get a version that worked well in iOS.

Try holding the power and home buttons for ten to fifteen seconds until the apple appears. If still bad, try a restore from within the computer&itunes.

No flash for the camera

I was disappointed when I found out there was no flash. I guess the next one will have flash.

No reason to be disappointed after the fact since such information is readily available before purchasing an iPhone.
There is no indication that the 2nd generation will include a flash function for the camera - it isn't likeky such information will be made available prior to. I for one hope not since I haven't used a cell phone camera that includes a flash function which made much difference which I'd never use for any serious or important photo taking anyway but to each his/her own.

I would recommend utilizing the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to automatically review your installation log and attempt to locate a solution. The summary you posted is not always complete so a look at the actual log itself would be beneficial.

Other options include Puffin and iSwifter. One of those might also work for you, though all such apps, including Skyfire, have limitations
