Flash Player plugin.exe could not be found

Hi,
since a few days Flash Player is giving me an error message saying "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player\Addons\plugin.exe could not be found.
Please make sure you have typed the name correctly and repeat the process." on every bootup. (error message may not be 100% accurate, I had to translate it from German).
Apart from that, the Flash Player plugin (most current version btw) is working perfectly fine. I have done a complete Flash Player + Flash plugin reinstall but I keep getting the error
every time I start my PC. What's going on here?
Oh and I'm running Win 7 x64 Service Pack 1 btw.

Download and save the uninstaller by right clicking the following link and selecting "save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as" (Firefox).
Flash Player Uninstaller
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking one (or both) of the following links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "save Link as" (Firefox).
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save the file(s) to your downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything else, run the UNINSTALLER to remove ALL instances fo Flash Player plugin.
Run the installer(s) next to replace the plugin for IE or Firefox (or both).

  • Flash player 14 - Retrieving Install not working

    Hardware: Macbook Pro 2008
                        2.4GHz Intel core 2 Duo
                        4Gb Ram
    OS: 10.9.4
    Every time I launch and run the dmg install, it says Retrieving Install but stays at 0% and the application says Not Responding.
    I have tried to uninstall Flash player and have checked that :
    Library/Internet Plugins/Flash Player.plugin file is not present;
    the Flash Player install manager is not present;
    Rebooted the Mac; and
    Repaired disk permissions.
    But I still cannot get Flash player to install. Can anyone suggest anything else to try?

  • FontDescription could not be found.

    I wanted to load an external swf file in to a FLA file i used the code
    var my_Loader:Loader = new Loader();
    addChild(my_Loader);
    var my_url:URLRequest=new URLRequest("external.swf");
    my_Loader.load(my_url);
    my_Loader.x = 20;
    my_Loader.y = 20;
    but when it loads I get the error
    flash Error #1014: Class flash.text.engine::FontDescription could not be found.
    I googled but the only thing I found was to place
    var font:FontDescription = new FontDescription();
    font.fontName = "Arial";
    in the actions (Yes Arial is the font I am using)
    The external loads fine and runs with out any errors alone.

    i just tested.  that's not the problem.
    are you publishing for fp10 in your loading swf?  if not, you're probably loading a swf that used a tlf textfield which is only supported in fp 10.
    you need to either publish for fp 10 in your loading swf or change your loaded swf to not use any tlf textfields.

  • Flash.media::H264VideoStreamSettings could not be found

    hi,everyone
    All of my efforts to load H264 class inside flash has been failed.
    I did all instruction to load this class , but this error occur at runtime:
    " VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.media::H264VideoStreamSettings could not be found. "
    Adobe flash plyer 11(incubator), not run inside flash!!
    Is there anyone to help me?
    Thanks.

    I find out that , H264 class can not be load and run in plash player 11 inside debuger mode in flash CS5.5.
    It should be run in flash 11 stand alone player or inside HTML out put of project.
    In the other words, Adobe has offered a browser plugin for plash player 11 not a stand alone player.
    So testing H264 class and other new features in incubator player, is available inside web browser.
    It's the easiest and quick way.
    Another idea?

  • Using flex4.1, Flash Builder giving error "flash.filesystem::StorageVolume could not be found."

    Hi there,
              I'm trying to copy some files to Storage Card on a AIR application. Is this possible with the latest version of the AIR SDK (2.0)?
              I am developing in Flash Builder. I have downloaded the lastest flex sdk(4.1)  and used it.
              Flash Builder then recognises the StorageVolume and StorageVolumeInfo classes. However when I then run the app the debugger throws an error on the following line:
    LINE:
    var volumes:Vector.<StorageVolume> = StorageVolumeInfo.storageVolumeInfo.getStorageVolumes();
    Note: I have imported both classes as well.

    I'v read the article
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/2984004#2984004,
    and checked my application.xml, The content of the first two lines is:

  • Flash Player plugin v10.3.183.18 not installed in old Mac OS X 10.5.8's Safari v5.0.6?

    Hello.
    I have a client's Mac OS X 10.5.8 with all the latest updates. His Flash Player plugin v10.3.183.18 does not show up in his old Safari v5.0.6. It works fine in old Firefox v3.6.28 though. And yes, I redownloaded and reinstalled Flash Player plugin. What's wrong?
    Thank you in advance.

    Updates since I had more free time on a CATurday. I found a Flash uninstaller from Adobe's KB web site so I downloaded it, ran it, tested to see if Firefox said no Flash (confirmed), and then reinstalled Flash but it did not fix Safari's plug-in problem. I also noticed this in Mac OS X 10.5.8's console log during installation to launching Safari:

    Note the last few lines. I wonder if those are causing Flash plugin not to show up in Safari.

  • VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.media::MicrophoneEnhancedOptions could not be found.

    Hi
    In the adobe help there is much talk about AEC and sample codes for AEC.
    I  have downloaded flex sdk 4.5 ,AIR SDK 2.6 which are most recent  builds.Installed Flash player 10.3 and AIR runtime 2.7 release  candidate.
    While using the following code for echo supression:
    var mic:Microphone = Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone();
    mic  = Microphone.getEnhancedMicrophone(0);
    var options:MicrophoneEnhancedOptions = new MicrophoneEnhancedOptions();
    options.mode = MicrophoneEnhancedMode.FULL_DUPLEX;
    options.autoGain = false;
    options.echoPath = 128;
    options.nonLinearProcessing = true;
    mic.enhancedOptions = options;
    the following error occurs both in Web version as well as AIR version.
    I have included the playerglobal.swc in both the version of applications in the folder frameworks\libs\player\10.3

  • Class flash.events::SoftKeyboardEvent could not be found

    Hi
    Hope everyone is enjoying life.
    I’m creating my own plugin for InDesign. I’m using spark components in Adobe CS extension builder 2, flex sdk 4.5. It throws following error when my developed plugin runs in CS5.5 or lower:
    VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.events::SoftKeyboardEvent could not be found.
    This event seems to only been needed on components that use on-screen keyboards. In my case it throws this error on spark components "TextInput, List, ComboBox etc."  It runs fine with CS6.
    Does anybody have an idea to resolve this error?
    Thanks and best regards
    Sal

    What does new features mean here? The API provided in csaw_indesign.swc?
    Flex SDK 3.4 is just a compiler. All features of CS Extension Builder 2.0 are available. What are not available is the API provided in ${CSLIBS}\2.0\4.5\release\csaw_indesign.swc where is not provided in ${CSLIBS}\1.5\3.4\release\csaw_indesign.swc.
    To be compatible with lower version, you need to use the low version's *.swc libraries.

  • VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.display3D::Context3D could not be found.

    Weird. I have the Player Incubator installed (it shows up as "Incubator build" in the bottom left hand corner) in browser, for Flash Builder and for Flash 5. On all of these when I try to run, for example, this source...
    http://blog.kaourantin.net/?p=104&cpage=1#comment-2119
    ....I get error message:
    VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.display3D::Program3D could not be found.
    or
    VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.display3D::Context3D could not be found (on Away3D examples)
    It compiles fine, but the player doesn't seem to recognise the MoleHill classes.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

    I ended up running into this issue as well so I wrote a sort of psuedo standalone debugger player. Works perfect, I posted it in a thread here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/798002?tstart=0
    Theres a video tutorial and tons of more nfo on my blog post about it here:
    http://blog.ascensionsystems.ca/?p=147
    And I've also just released the source code for those interested:
    http://blog.ascensionsystems.ca/?p=153
    If you follow the instructions in my blog, you won't get this error anymore and will be able to run/test/debug your movies normally. Hope this is helpful! If you find it to be, tell people so my days' work isn't in vain! lol

  • Error message when installing Flash Player : List of actions not found

    I get an error message when trying to install Flash Player.
    I use Windows 64 bit with Internet Explorer 64x.
    I'm able to download, the installation starts but it stops before completing.
    I get this error message (loosely transalated) :
    Installation encountered errors
    List of actions not found
    How can I fix this ?
    Thank you
    Annie

    I solved my problem by installing the Flash Player from home.
    The network security at work prevented me from completing installation.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Flash player plugin _12_0_0_77.exe - application error in win 7

    How to solve flash player plugin _12_0_0_77.exe - application error in win 7?

    You get this when doing what?  Is there any additional information in the message?

  • DVD Player installation error A valid DVD drive could not be found. [-70012]

    My iMac has an external "superdrive" and I can't play files .dvdmedia.  On opening the DVD Player I get this message:  There was installation error  A valid DVD drive could not be found. [-70012]
    This sent an error message to Apple when I click the OK button.
    I have tried to relinstall the DVD player.app from the SnowLeopard disc, but this app was not on the list for custom install.  I have repaired permissions, no help! I have shut down and waited several minutes and restarted, no help.

    My continued frustration with this problem lead  me to an archived discussion https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2020977?start=0&tstart=0  This lead me to beleive I need to use the reset password to fully repair my permissions as contained there.  Also while booted in the install disc, I performed a Repair Disc on the StartUp disc.
    After all this, when I restarted, the DVD Player was able to play DVDmedia files completely.
    So I quess I solved my own problem.
