I am doing the recon from flat. from flat file passing the attributes like first name,last name... card expire date. User is not created in OIM

can any please let know the exact format in which date has to passed from flat file

It is trying to delete those files from MDS first before start creating new one. though it was not there it throws those exceptions. This is what I'm guessing.
I have added filename like EnterpriseDirectory and EnterpriseDirectory_backup under /db/..... location and tried to recreate recon profile. I got the following information in logs

It is deleting the existing file and creating EnterpriseDirectory_backup file only and tried to load EnterpriseDirectory file inside /db/ location before creating the file.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
MDS repository holds the path of file name and where it needs to store but in backend in which format it is storing all xml files, any idea?

GTC Trusted Recon Issue 11g R2

When We execute the task only one attribute which is Organization attribute provided as a literal value under Recon staging is appearing under the event. It is one of the child elements of the request-data-set element that describes the user-defined plug-in details meant for validating the dataset attribute values. The request engine runs the implemented plug-in to validate request data during submission. If the validation is successful, then the request gets created. Otherwise, the request is not created. You must implement the plug-in logic. Each dataset can have only one DataSetValidator defined.
These are the attributes:
name: This attribute specifies a logical name of the DataSetValidator plug-in.
classname: This attribute specifies the fully qualified name of the implemented plug-in class.
The following example shows the DataSetValidator element:

And yes, The classname in the DataSetValidators in these default request datasets can be changed to a customized class to have customized validation.

Go to: "Modifying the GTC" ( just do this part)
Restart the OIM and Enjoy it.

And don't forget on step three:
Click the Edit icon of the User ID field of the OIM - User data set.
b. On the Step 1: Provide Field Information page:
- From the Mapping Action list, select Create Mapping Without Transformation.
- Select Matching Only.
- Click Continue.
Mapping Information page, select Reconciliation
Staging from the Dataset list, select EMPLOYEE_ID (your ID Field) from the Field Name
list, and then click Continue.
If something go bad, tell me the steps like I did with the log.... see ya

SJSDS recon issue with oim 11g
I got the following logging message while reconciling SJSDS (sun directory server) with oim 11g. All the recon statuses were success (group, role, user, trusted user), but no data was from SJSDS.
Did anyone has any idea about it?

I will integrate OIM 9.1.0.1 and ORM 10.1.4.1 and i have a porblem with the Recon Tasks of OIM. If I start the RoleManagerUserReconciliation_Full i get following error:

This error is because JDBC 2.0 feature is not completely implemented in Oracle Lite database.
So, you might want to go for an SOA Advanced Install with 10.2.0.3 oracle database to resolve your issue.

Flat file to Oracle Database - Invalid Month
Hi All
I am New to XI and trying to create a simple interface between Legacy system (flat file) and Oracle database.
I have some date fields in the Oracle table.
When i run the interface it says "invalid month" with some SQL exception number.
I am using (mm/dd/yyyy) format for the date.
Is there any conversion i need to do. I am using XML SQL format for Oracle database.
Any help is appreciated.

Oracle is very picky with the way date is stored. Assume that you have a field datefield that you need to save. In mapping add an attribute hasqQuote and set it to "NO". When mapping the value to the node use to_date as shown below.

Error oracle.apps.bne.exception in FSG and WEB ADI after upgrade

Hi,
We have four Application Instances and one Database with R12.0.6 and DB version 11.1.0.7 with Load balancer Configuration.
The Application is running fine with Load balancer configuration, But we are facing the below issue with report manager.
Even We tried uploading a template from Report Manager in FSG also we are getting the below error.
But when we remove the load balancer and use the actual host name, It works fine.
If somebody has encountered the same issue , Please let us know, as it is little urgent.

Unable to use 'findCatalog' in oracle.iam.catalog.api.CatalogService api
Hi all,
In OIM 11gr2, I am unable to use the method "findCatalog"
, in "package oracle.iam.catalog.api.CatalogService". Did any one else face the same issue. Any pointers appreciated.
The description of the method as per the 11gr2 api guide is as follows
findCatalog(SearchCriteria searchCriteria, int lowerBound, int higherBound, java.lang.String sortField, CatalogSearchCriteria.SortCriteria sortCriteria)
Find catalog on the basis of input provided as searchCriteria that has been provided by User, It will return the objects after applying the entity level security.

The problem is that when i display the books in a jsp directly from the session bean everything works ok but the problem comes when I call the session bean via the web service than it throws this:
