Flex Builder shows one error at a time

Hi folks,
I am new to flex. I have written a sample application in ActionScript. When I tried to build the application I am not able to see all my compile time errors at a single time. Following is the brief summary of the Issue occured while building the sample application:
          - First time one compliation error is shown.
          - After fixing this compilation error
          - Another compilation error is shown.(remember this error exists even at first time also) (and so on)
Can't I see all the compilation errors at once (so that I can fix all my errors at one shot) in Flex Builder?
(Note: I have the 'strict' mode enabled for the flex project)

It depends on the error. If your error is confusing the heck out of the compiler, the compiler might not be able to reason about the rest of your source code, so it won't catch the rest of your errors. It also depends on the compiler--smarter compilers can show you more informative errors, or more errors at a time.
I've found that most of the time, FlexBuilder is pretty good at reporting multilpe errors. Unfortunately, when it's not, there's not much you can do.

HOW TO SHOW ONE PAGE AT A TIME

Does anybody have a clue how to show one page at a time? I clicked Facing Pages in the Inspector and 2 columns of pages showed up. Now, I can't get it back to just one page showing up at a time. There must be a fix, but I don't' want to spend days on this. Many thanks.

At the bottom left of the page, click on the zoom percentage, then select One-up from the menu.

My Viewing area only shows one photo at a time now :(

Yesterday I noticed that my viewing area only shows one photo at a time. It used to display thumbnails of all the photos in the selected event - or library. Now, I'm forced to scroll down and view them one at a time or go into edit mode to see some thumbnails across the top of the screen.
Did I accidently do this? Was it part of an OS update? (I've been away for a month and just don't think I did anything to cause a change...) Can anyone tell me how to view all the thumbnails in the viewing area again?
I'm using iphoto 08 version 7.1.5 (378)

Show one color at a time

right now i am just brainstorming my next art project so i don't really have anything specific (which might make this harder to answer but bear with me)
ok, i am hoping to create a pretty complex peice. lots of shapes and detail, no gradients though.
is there a way to only show one color at a time.... that makes no sense, let me grab an example...
ok, i'll try again, if i was going to do this in illustrator, i would have that gold on top all on one layer. then on top of that i would have the red eyes on one layer. is there a way i can see all the gold but only the gold that will actually show up when i print it? basically like when they do prints, they print one color at a time and it's not like they overlap a bunch of layers. can i do that like on screen?
i guess if i had to i could do it in photohop, make a brush out of the red layer and erase those parts of the gold... but i dont want to do it that way, can i do it in illustrator?

ALWAYS state what version you're using.
It sounds like you simply want to preview color separations on screen. If so, and if you have Acrobat Pro, you can:
1. Save the file as a press-ready PDF.
2. Open in Acrobat.
3. Preview the separations in the Advanced>PrintProduction>OutputPeview dialog.
Understand: "Color separations" means color as it will be sent to the individual printing plates, not individual "colors" you've used in the design (unless the design is entirely spot color). If that's what you want, you can:
1. Select an object of a particular color.
2. Use one of the Select Same commands in the Select menu.
3. Store the selection. (Select>SaveSelection)
4. Object>Hide>Selection (leaving other-colored objects visible)
5. Similarly store selections for each different color. Use the Hide Selection command on which every ones you don't want to see.

Embed pdf in website, show one page at a time, with forward and back controls?

Not sure if this is possible (or if this is the right place to ask), but I need to take a multiple page pdf, embed it in a website so its on the left half of the screen, have it only show one page at a time, and have the forward and back page controls.
Is this possible, and if so, could someone point me in the right direction?

Typically you would save it to a JPeg and post those on the web site. Expecting a PDF to show up depends on the client computer configuration and browser. This is too risky, unless you don't mind getting nasty little notes that it does not work. If you do it with JPegs, then all the browsers I know of can handle it. Then simply put the PDF separately for those who prefer to download the PDF and look at it separately.

Show One Page at a Time Default

Is there a way every time I open a pdf document the
default view will go to "show one page at a time" function?
I am using Adobe Acrobate 9

Go to Edit and select Preferences (Ctrl+K). Under categories, select "Page Display". Choose "single page" from the page layout drop down box under "Default layout and Zoom". Under Zoom, choose "fit page" and click OK.

Flex Application showing no errors in Eclipse but not executing either

Hello,
I am trying to develop an application in flex/BlazeDS/Java in eclipse and my problem is since my changes in the code are not reflected anymore during runtime of the application. There is no error received from eclipse when I try to clean the project. It is deployed correctly but it seems to be working with the old code and not reflecting the changes. I tried to put the breakpoint too but it says, 'breakpoint cannot be placed here because there is not executable code in this line'
Please advice.

Well, i never re-install the FlexBuilder (stand-alone, or eclipse-plugin) because any error.
Your output folder in Flex Build Path on your Project Properties is correct? Other question, you are working with Java ? Many times the project have a "error" on configuration and the directory to deploy is not listen by web-server.
Exemple:
If i work with Java and my CATALINA_HOME is: C:\tomcat\ - My webapps is localizated on: C:\tomcat\webapps\MYWEBAPP\ but my output folder on FlexProject is: C:\MyProject\Flex\bin-debug, and i run the application, the application dont work...
So.. can you show your configuration? Its more easy to understand your problem and help you.

How to make vintage prints slide show one photo at a time?

Does anyone know to program the vintage prints slide show to display only one photo at a time?

The slideshow templates are fixed and can't be changed.
Alternatives to iPhoto's slideshow include:

Final Cut Express $199
It's difficult to compare these apps. They have differences in capability - some are driven off templates. some aren't. Some have a wider variety of transitions. Others will have excellent audio controls. It's worth checking them out to see what meets your needs. However, there is no doubt that Final Cut Express is the most capable app of them all. You get what you pay for.

Screen/Desktop Only showing one program at a time...

My mom called me in to look at her iMac earlier today. She said she was moving her illustrator window off to the side when all of the sudden it was "sucked" away to the left side of the screen. Now when she tries to bring up more than one window for different programs, it will only show windows from one program at a time. I have no clue what she has done and can't seem to find a way to fix this... Does anyone know what she has turned on and how can I turn it off?

sounds strange. I would try resetting dock and spaces preferences. delete the file homedirectory/library/preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and log out/in. your dock, spaces and exposé will be reset to the defaults.

Flex Builder 3 internal error

I just installed Flex Builder 3 on an Intel Mac with Leopard
(10.5.4). Flex Builder runs OK. When it builds a project I get an
error: "An internal build error has occurred. Right-click for more
information." The right click provides no information. Nothing
seems to be getting built. I have downloaded example projects such
as the Simple RIA tutorial. Everything fails in the same way. I
can't run or debug a project.

Try going to the Help menu and select "Product Details,"
which is at the bottom of the menu (in Windows). In the "Product
Details" dialog box, click on "Configuration Details," and lastly
in the "Configuration Details" dialog box click on "View Error
Log." At the bottom of the log should be the latest error
preventing you from building the app.

Flex Builder 2 doesn error check .as files????

When I make new flex project (basic project) and then make
new ActionScript class or file, I can type ANYTHING in and when I
save, Flex Builder doesn't report any error! Only when I try to run
application it reports an error. This doesn't happen inside of
script blocks in mxml files.
It is totally unacceptable!
Is it possible to change this?

Flex Builder 4.6 Error: Flash Player Version

I have recently downloaded the Flex Builder 4.6 trail. I am trying to run my web application I have created and have run into an error. I have searched for solutions and have only gotten vauge answers. The error message says:
Required Adobe Flash Player version not installed.
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF64_11_0_1.dll
This project requires a more recent version fo the Adobe Flash Player. You might
need to install the Flash Player or reinstall Flash Builder.

Do you still want to launch the application?
I am currently using Google Chrome as my browser. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

Finder only shows one application at a time...

Hi all,
Hopefully someone can shed light on my dilemma.
After a system crash today I'm having problems in the Finder.
I can only have one application visible on screen at a time.
When I click the Desktop the Finder and any windows there come forward and the previous application is hidden.
If I'm in Safari and click the iCal icon in the Dock iCal comes forward and Safari is hidden.
Icons on the desktop are visible at all times and can be clicked / opened etc.
The only way to have other app windows on screen is to go to the Application Menu and choose "Show All". Clicking a window in another application hides everything again.
Hide "App Name" / Hide Others are both greyed out and I can't use Cmd-H to hide an app either.
I've deleted prefs for everything I can think of (Desktop, Dock, Finder) and opened most com.apple. prefs up to find a flag that's been tripped somewhere but to no avail.
It's acting like the old Mac OS where you could have this as an option in the General Settings Control Panel (from memory...)
Safe Boot didn't help whilst logging into my other users show none of the symptoms. Obviously It's something in my log in that is causing the problem but I don't know where else to look!
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit Appraisals: Notes only shows one row at a time

Under the Employee Review tab of MSS-->Edit Appraisals, when I click to create an appraisal, the appraisal form in our system has areas to add notes. However, in the portal, the area to add notes is only 1 row. It is scrollable, but you can only see one row of text at a time. How can I expand the notes area/editor to show multiple lines of text?

Turns out the configuration is on the R/3 side when setting up the Appraisal. There is an option for number of lines for notes.
