Floatbox not working on Spry region
I used a floatbox as a popup but it is not behaving as
floatbox when it is inside spry region. The <a href> on top
works but the <a href> inside spry:detailregion isn't.
Any help is much appreciated. I apologise if I post it in the
wrong category.

Animated gif does not work in spry region
Trying to display an animated gif while xml file is loading.
The gif displays while loading but does not animate in the spry region.
<div spry:region="dslistings">
<div id="loadXML" spry:state= "loading"><img src="loadinganimated.gif"/></div>
<div spry:state="ready" </div>
Thank you in advance for any help.
JeffI believe you are correct, I tried to place the same animated gif outside of the spry region
and it also did not animate until the xml (approximately 500 records) loaded and completed displaying.
Once the xml loaded, the gif outside of the spry region started to animate.
So how then could you display some sort of animated loading indication?
Thank you

Slimbox not working with Spry Dataset
Hi there,
I'm trying to populate a page with Spry Dataset and use Slimbox2 to show a set of 4 images when a thumbnail is clicked.
The original webpage WITHOUT Spry Dataset is here:
http://shadowmuseum.com/portfolio/p-web.html
Currently it works with just slimbox, but as soon as I add a Spry Dataset, the large images won't load anymore. When a thumbnail is clicked on, it opens the 1st large image of the set in a new page, completely removing the lightbox effect.
I've scouted the internet for solutions; it's been suggested that slimbox doesn't work because spry doesn't have time to load the content first. But I'm not savvy with javascript at all, so have no idea how to work around it....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
P.S. Below is the HTML code for the page with both spry & slimbox:

IE6 not working with Spry Master Detail
I cannot get spry to work with IE6. I am most interested in
this master detail issue (code listed below). I am building this
for a internal gov't application, and the only browser they allow
is IE6.
The spry data set loads, all of the questions show on the
left hand side, but clicking on the question does nothing. I had
the same issue with collapsible panels, accordian etc. It works
fine on Firefox
Switching to another browser is not an option.
Click on the question to see the answer.

iam using spry to validate controls in a popup.in that
validations are working fine but the problem is when we click
cancel button also thse validations are firing...
i am using
javascript:Spry.Widget.Form.destroyAll() to destroy
validations...but it is not working.
when we click on cancel button how to destroy the validations
as well as hide the popup...
can anyone help me...Thanks! (While I'm REALLY not comfortable with code yet (working on it :-) I atleast understood that it was a PHP issue (yay).
Studied the code in the examples in the book. And added:
<pre>
<?php if ($_POST) {print_r($_POST);} ?>
</pre>
It worked. (I'm local testing, with no connection to a database yet. Just trying to get the basic pages to work first.)
Hopefully the more I work on all of this, the more I'll begin to "get it"! And I'm almost up to the Chapter on PHP. So, I'm hoping to will become clearer as I read on.
Thanks for the help in pointing me in the right direction!!!

Spry Photo album not working with spry accordion
I am trying to get a photo album to work in the spry
accordion - so that each panel you click on the accordion is a new
photo subject (ie waterfalls, sunsets ect) but it does not work
well. Both the thumbs and the main picture are visible through all
the accordion panels instead of the one I put it in. Any ideas why
it might not work? Would you need to see my code?
Thanksoh, you can see the website at http://redesignsbyava.com

sys.htp.p('test');
Not sure why the synonym to HTP is referencing a HTP procedure owned by OAS10GR2 (OAS10GR2.HTP).

FireFox Select List not working with Spry XML Data set.
I am having a problem with FireFox. I have a set of related select lists that allows a user to pick a state and then a market. The work in all browsers except FireFox. I'm totally stumped. Here is the link. Any assistance greatly appreciated!

And when you are using multiple datasets inside a region, it might wise to prefix you template tags with the correct dataset

Query buttons not working inside dynamic regions
Hi
Using: Jdev 11.1.1.2.0
I have created an index page with a menu whose menu items navigate to dynamic regions. On each of the jsff pages I have an ADF Query Panel with Table.
Problem, none of the Query Panel's buttons seem to be working. Clicking on search does not refresh or populate the table. Also, clicking on Advance button does not bring up the advance search controls or change the Advance button's label to Basic. Looks as thought the page is not refreshing with the latest information / actions.
If I do these in a normal page outside of dynamic regions then all works fine. Any ideas where to start searching for the problem?
Regards,

if the region is dynamic, make sure that the managed bean you use to switch between the taskflows is in a scope longer than request: e.g. viewScope, pageFlowScope, sessionScope

Query panel with table not working in taskflow region
I've created an adf query panel with table(using all queriable attributes criteria) in a page fragment and at design time it's showing properly. But when inside a region in a jspx page, the search, save and reset buttons of the query panel are not rendering when i'm running the page. Please help.
Its hard to give any solution without any information like your JDev version, what happens if you drop the query directly in the jspx page, what exception you get in console etc.

ADDT Datepicker and Spry:region
Using ADDT for a datepicker dropdown calendar, the following
code works as expected:
<form action="" method="post">
<input name="test" id="test" value="06/02/2008"
wdg:subtype="Calendar" wdg:mask="<?php echo
$KT_screen_date_format; ?>" wdg:type="widget"
wdg:mondayfirst="true" wdg:singleclick="true"
wdg:restricttomask="yes" />
</form>
When I add a Spry region, the dropdown calendar does not
work:
<div spry:region="ds1">
<form action="" method="post">
<input name="test" id="test" value="06/02/2008"
wdg:subtype="Calendar" wdg:mask="<?php echo
$KT_screen_date_format; ?>" wdg:type="widget"
wdg:mondayfirst="true" wdg:singleclick="true"
wdg:restricttomask="yes" />
</form>
</div>
Anyone have a solution please.

Spry Regions and Selection of First Element
I've done a little work with spry regions and am currently struggling with how to interact with the generated content via Javascript.
Specifically (I'm not using a Spry DataGrid BTW) I'm trying to do something like document.getElementById("st").focus(); on the first anchor in the returned dataset. I haven't put the ID in yet because I'm not sure exactly what to use (maybe @id) but how to capture the first one for the reference in the final .focus() call.
Anybody done this before?
<!--- list panel --->
<div spry:region="dsCompanies" style="clear:both;">
<div spry:repeat="dsCompanies">
<div class="card" >
<p><b><a href="#" onclick="loadcompany('{@id}','contacts');searchpanel.displayPopupDialog(false);return false;">{name}</a></b>
<br>{rectype}
<br>{name}
<br>{support}
<br>{address1}
<br>{address2}
<br>{address3}
<br>{city}, {state} {zip}
</p>
</div><!--- end of card --->
</div> <!--- end of spry region --->
<p spry:state="loading"> Please Wait...</p>
</div> <!--- end of panel --->You can apply focus to form elements and anchors/links. In this case I am attempting to set the focus to the <a href> tag.. but only the first in the repeating region.
<HTML>

<a id="foo1" href="#"> This</a>
<a id="foo2" href="#"> That</a>
<script type="text/javascript">

Ok. so I am getting pretty frustrated. I take the time to learn how to use CSS and to create a template page for a Contractor Site (www.ContractorInsurance.net). The idea is to create a page that I can use for different classes of Contractors...right?
Then I get all happy about being able to insert ToolTip onto pages to help the user. Great!
LIfe to turn to Sorrow after nearly five hours of searching for a "eeking" answer.
So what good does it do to have an Editable region to update if we cannot have the flexibility to insert a tool tip on child pages? Ok so the fast solution is to what... Have a question mark image, insert another apDiv, name it toolTip_Not and provide it with a show=hide behavior?
RRRRRrrr...
This really sucks not being able to find a solution within a reasonable amount of time.I have tried thank you. However...it is still not working.
www.ContractorInsurance.net/course_of_construction.php
The error message is "Making this change would require code that is locked by a template translator"
Re: Spry tool tip does not work in template or child pages within an editable region. Why not?

If you have a look at the following simple document with a tooltipTooltip trigger goes here.
Tooltip content goes here.
you will notice that a couple of lines have been placed in the HEAD section of the document. When using DW templates, the HEAD section is usually not editable, hence the error mesaage. By default, your template should have an editable region in it just before the closing tag. It looks like this: <!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="head" > <! TemplateEndEditable --> Dreamweaver should be able to find that editable region and insert the
<script> tag there automatically. Because you don't have an editable region like that in the <head>, open the master template, and paste the code above just before the closing </head>
tag. Gramps

Show region if empty not working (ASP)
I have created an app in ASP (not .NET) to record some supplier stock info, with a summary page displaying a filtered recordset based upon the logged in user which is working fine and dandy... the problem lies when no records exist for the current user the summary page is coming back with the standard ASP, ADO error meaning no records exist: -
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
So I have tried adding "show region" behaviors to show a "no records exist" message and hiding the table containing the summary info, but the above error is still showing when I would only expect the "no records exist" message to display... page code as follows, all help appreciated..!

'{boximage}' != 'undefined'" src="{boximage}" />
<img spry:if="'{boximage}' == '' || '{boximage}' ==

<p spry:choose="choose">
<img spry:when="'{boximage}' != '' &&

Using spry:choose where you can is better because it means
the region processing code has one less conditional expression to
evaluate since the default case has no expression associated with
it.
